The rooms of the hotel are nicely furnished, the bathroom was newly renovated. The staff members were all very nice. But unfortunately was every day from 7 am 1 hour and in the afternoon from about 15 hours for about 3 hours demonstrated. And the unfortunately not silent, but with megaphone. There were at least 2 persons with megaphone on the doorstep in an unbearable loudness constantly slogans wie'what time is it? It is time to check out. Hotel Frank is not good' of it. One was from the persons hassled if you the hotel entering respectively to leave. Of ... a sleep after o'clock in the morning was not to think. The demonstrators, apparently from, that the hotel before 2 years insolvent and the new owner the pensions not adopted. So the pensioners with demonstrate the day. More this on the internet under occupy hotel Frank San Francisco to find. Unfortunately for the hotel and the new owner! I would not again to the hotel drive, as the beach just 0 is. read more

Hotel retro-style (we loved it) with new ( modern) bathrooms. Very good location, ideal for excursions on foot, cable car or with the public transport links ( respectively Hop-on/Hop-off). We had the hotel for altogether 4 days as a part of our USA -round trip booked and were very satisfied ( also in comparison to other hotels, we got to know ). Because of the central location it can evenings/ at night sometimes a little noisy. For 3 stars is this hotel good. Value for money fit. read more

A stop in San Francisco, of course, to everyone Kalifornien round trip. The hotel Frank is centrally located, about 100 meters away from union Square. Valet parking there for American Dollar 35,- per day. Hotel has charm, rooms very clean and well equipped. In the immediate area some bars, restaurants and dinner for breakfast, snacks and dinner. For the excursion program offers the city enough selection, the hotel is for a great base. read more

The hotel scored with its excellent location. A street and you are in the Union Square, where you for example directly to Market Street comes. The rooms are sufficiently furnished, clean and functional, with a good style. We liked it, even if at check out a few people in front of the hotel against the working conditions demonstrated. The staff were very friendly to us. read more

We have the hotel the first objective of our trip to the United States used. After a long flight, the car rental and lugging suitcases we were happy, as we midnight at the hotel arrived. The car we have in the second row parked, which a staff member in the hotel's own garage parked. Unfortunately for circa 30 Dollar fees per day. The check in ran very smooth, so that we get to our room could. Lugging suitcases took the porters for a small tip. The room was top, only the view of the backyard left nothing to the imagination. ... But it was so quiet, despite city center situation. Since we dog-tiredly were, it went straight to cozy bed. Because of the jet lag I was however awake, but free Wi-Fi was to employment luckily available.
We spent 2 nights without catering in the hotel and were very satisfied. read more

We were 2008, before it was renovated previously visited and it is even better! Hotel Frank, formerly Maxwell, is a newly renovated hotel dating from 1908 , town sprung up here with about 12 floors(? ). The rooms are all very stylish and very modern decor. From iPod docking station to the flat-screen TV everything was available. Breakfast is as usual in the American hotels. The service of the staff and cleanliness are good. To the guests: I can't say much, approximately many local business people as well as a few tourists, for example. From Germany. read more

Nice great hotel centrally located in the heart of San Francisco. Modern decor. Unfortunately through the central a bit noisy at night. Tours for the best go there on your own. If you didn't have a car on the Powell station(part) are a Tourismuscenter where you day and multiple tickets for bus/tram as well as cable car can buy. So you can see it all oneself. Or at the beach restaurant warft hop on/off tour. read more

Budget hotel with a great view of the skyline of SF. Rooms are newly renovated and presentable. The service of the staff and cleanliness are good. The location is very good (monuments, security, and shopping). Breakfast is available at the hotel and like everywhere in SF, not something to do German eating habits. Dinner is couldn't comment, as I didn't eat there. Lärmreduktion through the construction or the windows could be better. It's great value. read more

The hotel Frank is right next to the Westin Hotel St Francis, only a few meters from Union Square. Vorteilhafterweise's not directly on the cable car, what it night quite quiet. Not for anyone wanting to stay in Fishermans Wharf, this hotel has an absolute top location. The hotel was formerly called Maxwell and end of completely renovated in 2008 and is called hotel Frank. It belongs to the Personality hotels and sees itself as luxury boutique hotel. As regards the equipment may it could describe it as such. No to small rooms, tastefully decorated, equipped with plasma TV, safe ... and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was well appointed, with chic bath products, and overall, everything was perfectly clean. The staff were ok but rather impersonal. The internet station in the lobby costs 0.25 U$S per minute. We booked this hotel through hotels. Com at an unbeatable price. But also at regular prices can we recommend hotel Frank in its current performance. read more
