Nice hotel in a fantastic location, right on the Riessersee. Large room over two levels. To stroll or food after garmisch you need generally a car. read more

In the half board was included a diner buffet. From my personal experience i have to say the food at my university and in the cafeteria my business i like better. Unfortunately were the dishes partly also not really warm. Personally i expect from a four star superior house a) no self-service in a half board for 117€ per day and b) a better quality of the food. Also i found personally also the performance of the waiting staff not convincing, especially the knowledge of german. On 2. evening instead of the self -restaurants in the 'Seehaus' eaten. Service was ... very accommodating, however the quality of the dishes was - in my opinion - unfortunately also clearly under 4-star standard. The heater in the room was not adjustable, the room this clearly overheated. The window was naturally open, but since it was close to the stream and whose noise development, it was not an option, the window at night open. Staff in the bar: i arrived to the bar, have greeted friendly. 3 employee have faced away, are other things turned, or, have together maintained. I myself in a serviceberuf worked and learned: the customer is king. Here i unfortunately no that for. I found it unacceptable. In sum: far from my expectations of a four star superior-house-and no good value for money. I can the building not recommend! read more

A hotel comes in the course of the time in years, one has guests, that not always that behavior, as you at home do. Signs of wear at closets and doors therefore unfortunately normal.
What you but 8. if, that is the cleanliness and the left in this house a lot to be desired, it was in the bathroom or on the closet, (dust, mold, dirt and scale) for a 4 star hotel that is impossible!
The winter garden, deserves the word really, no matter wether breakfast or dinner,
It was always cold and therefore very uncomfortable.
As in the ... first dinner in my vorspeisesalat a hair found, it discreet and silent in clearing away the waiter said, he took the hair from the plates, surveyed it
Then loud replies: there is no hair from me! What unfortunately also a dozen
Guests hear.
The hotel is a typical seminar hotel with all its ramifications
(warm up the buses in the morning, loud departure and verabschiedungen,
At normal paying guests think, that are looking for peace and relaxation.
And the guests there house, the space you have, where not just business guests staying.
Praising to mention i would like your kitchen, we had the half board, the choice
As well as the preparation were excellent!
To end on a good note perhaps i may say, that today in almost every hotel wi-fi
Offered free of charge, in your house you may require for an hour 5,95 Euro
And for 24 hours 14,95 Euro this is not a service for a 4 star hotel!

The Riessersee hotel resort is above GAP to the eponymous lake. Since only a street to the hotel leads is very quiet location. Yes, almost a bit remote. Very quiet! No hotel for people who at night gladly go clubbing. read more

The hotel consists of a larger area with several houses. Also the Seehaus, directly on the lakeshore is one of them. The buildings are up to about fünfstöckig and classically decorated with a lot of wood out.
The guests were international and mostly to the skiing here. read more

Beautiful and gorgeous located hotel, with its extremely friendly service. Already before the complete the check in-documents we were greeted with a glass of prosecco welcomes. This courteous hospitality as a red thread through all areas. Even the management was looking for a pleasant proximity to guest.
All in all we can only say, that this traditional family-run hotel always worth a trip is. read more

We were for the 3. time over christmas at the Riessersee-hotel and like to come again. It fit everything. Starting from warm welcome, the good food and the in this period tasteful and matching ambiente of the hotel. read more

The location on Riessersee is unique, but a downside, the pedestrian access time of stay was not ideal; just a short walk-icy-manageable, the other is in the winter months locked. Hotel should consider itself for nichtskifahrer a shuttle bus up; otherwise you are on the taxi, if the own car due to alcohol better not be used. Stay was from 16,12-25,12 (no skiing). Earlier holidays in the summer/ herbstwochen great hiking allowed. The swimming in the sea was lovely. read more

Excellent service, luxury ambience with wohlfühlcharakter. Friendliness to be very noticeable. Quiet and very nice location on the lake. Ski school and rental in the hotel, safe in the room free and the underground car park, luggage storage brought to the room. For elderly or infirm is the badewanneneinstiege too high, better rooms with a shower, or suite. Residenzien are also bookable. Fireplace in the eigangshalle is very comfortable, food in the restaurant very good, also the Seehaus is very recommendable. read more

Family-friendly sports hotel was located above on beautiful small Riessersee ( lake for swimming), to the center about 2 kilometer. Every morning very good and big breakfast. Very nice wellness area ( fitness, sauna, pool, jacuzzi) with private practitioners available. Super indoor swimming pool with 13 meters length with a pleasant water temperature. In the bar are pool, Kicker, Playstation, also mountain bikes for rent available. Standard room as a family with 3 persons very good, next to the bathroom is sofa bed with a tv, double bed is in the upper level also with a tv. Staff very pleasant ..., bathrobes free, very good atmosphere. read more

Rich and delicious breakfast buffet.
Great relatively big pool with granderwasser (without chlorine) great.
Beautiful wellness area with 3 different saunenund showers (grander water to drink and apples included), at the weekend it might be in the sauna- and relaxation area a bit too tight.

- mattresses were very hard/bad and cause back pain, should definitely be replaced!
Nice is the speaker in the bathroom and the 2 flat screen-tvs. read more

We now were to the third time in this hotel and I can not much to my 2 previous reviews add. Except, that we this time in the Seehaus (9 suites) stayed, where we a kreuzeck junior suite had. A very nice room with entrance area, wardrobe, double bed, bedside table, desk with chair, 2 armchair with a table, tv, telephone, mini bar, safe, balcony with direct views of the lake. The bathroom was a bit small and not very well cleaned, what I also the front desk have communicated.
A few meters from the Seehaus-terrace is now a beautiful ... playground.
The staff on the terrace was the beautiful weather often overburdened and you had to quite a long time for a cup of coffee waiting.
We ate once in the Seehaus à la carte and a delicious menu in the main building to evening ate. There were not very lots of guests in the restaurants, what a pleasant atmosphere showed. read more

We have in the hotel 10 wonderful day of vacation and have absolutely no cause for criticism. Because of the dreamlike location of the hotel on Riessersee somewhat above Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a car but essential. read more

The hotel looks very nice, the gastronomy ( food and drinks) is ok. The service for a four-star hotel on the rooms but much to be desired. We were four days there and our room was in this period not vacuumed nor swept and really sparsely cleaned (and the probably already some time before we didn't). Despite a complaint, it was not turned off on the contrary it was nothing at all more cleaned. This was the second worst in 20 years, disappointing. Our summary: once and never again. read more
