Good old days in great new ways!

The 'new york hotel' is a striking old building with the charm of yesteryear with its motto: 'good old days in great new ways' in the best sense' old fashioned '-pleased us very. The 43-story hotel has about 900 rooms-the actual hotel rooms are located on floors 20 to 40 of the building, in the lower two floors are the homes of residents. Access to the elevators one gets only with room card, there is always a staff of the concierge service there and watches.
The hotel, at the end of the 20. years in the art deco style and ... has a very nice designed lobby with a reception and concierge desk. Next to the front desk you can at the 'bell boy' luggage against a small fee in custody-and for all, the the powershoppen about the strands beat, there was a bag scales.! In the lower lobby, below the foyer you will find a gift shop and gym. Still offers the hotel free wi-fi in all rooms! read more

New york hotel (so called the hotel)
30.11. 2012-04.12. 2012
Very central city hotel to the u-bahn-station 34. street /Penn Station. Madison Square Garden,
Macy's and Empire State Building in the immediate area.
We have on the 36. floor stayed. Great view of the city, especially at the
Evening into the sea of lights. Hardly road noises to be heard.
The room was for a hotel in New York spacious and newly renovated.
Very friendly staff. With shuttle service to the airport went.
Direct access from the new york hotel for tic tock diner. 24 hours open. Have ...
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good food, freshly prepared and
Fair price-performance ratio. The tic tock diner offers for breakfast in the hotel-lobby
Coffee to go, as well as juice, fruits and muffins and other pastries at, which you also in
Of the hotel-lobby can take to itself.
All in all a perfect stay. read more

+ we had a room on the 26. floor with an amazing view to the hudsun river and direction bradway. The hotel lies great central location in the middle of Manhattan, right at the Penn Station. You can but also many attractions to reach on foot. The staff are very friendly.
- the room was really small, but modern and newly renovated, except for the historical, something into the years the bathroom. As a general rule in USA also here the windows a leak, so you have to in the winter properly heat. The light in the room-hallway was broken ... and was also in the 5 days not replaced. read more

We have this hotel exclusively for sleeping and we must say was the value for money top, because we in the hauptmonat december between christmas and neuhjahr in New York were. The new yorker hotel lies super central and one can reach much ( Times Square, 5 avenue and so on.) To reach on foot. The subway stop is right around the corner, a Starbucks Kaffee, and a mcdonalds across the street and a Burger King a few meters way, so we had to leave for our breakfast never far. In the hotel there is also a diner the ... very well and for new york standards very reasonably priced was. The hotel isn't spectacular but since we really every evening/night dead tired to bed fallen through the many impressions which we over the whole day in this incredibly great city have gathered, was for us everything great and wonderful days spent there. It could be for us no other hotel profitable. read more

The hotel is near the Penn Station and the Madison Square Garden - the traffic connections could not be better. The staff at the frontdesk is able and friendly and did a very stressful job. As there is very lots of guests is, you have to actually always queue, because always someone from-or checking in. Next to the reception there is a now (concierge) where you tickets, shuttle services, etc. Can book and useful information gets.
Our (double -) room was really small-we had problems the two suitcase so storing travel, that we cannot always stumble. Also the bathroom was ... small - there are hardly any storage space. In puncto cleanliness everything was ok. The great view from the 37. floor on the southern tip of manhattan compensated us.
In next environment of the hotel you will find Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building and macy's. easy to reach on foot (15-20 minutes) the various Broadway theatre and the Times Square. To Rockefeller Center and to the shops in the 5. avenue is about 30 minutes. In the middle Penn Station is located the subway. You can also in one of the lots of small stores convenient breakfast. read more

For a few days city break the hotel is outstanding suitable.
Value for money is okay here to 100%.
The location is for that price unnerreicht. For this the hotel has nevertheless
A high standard of quality. The rooms are simple but clean.
If you only for sleeping needs, thus completely sufficiently. Unfortunately, there was a small
Deductions for a sustained cold bathroom. The rest had been okay.
Reception is friendly and helps reliable in case of any problems. read more

The hotel is very central at the Penn Station - 5 minutes on foot -, that means all new York airports are by train from the Penn Station extremely cheap reachable. Almost all new York sights you can to reach on foot. The view from the upper floors (I was in the 35.) is sensational, had a view of the Hudson river. the Pearls of Rhodes is also in the immediate area, so that you the hotel also again and again easy find. Broadway, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and so on everything in the immediate area, streets around the ... hotel are at night as well very busy with lots of dining possibilities all around, you feel always safe. The hotel is a excellent choice, I would book it again in. read more
