Great hotel at Legian Beach with great value for money! The hotel we have to relax and as a starting point for various excursions to the hinterland used (see review of Bali romantic tours with Hans Region - great tour guide!). We would come back any time to the Legian Beach go. You should not too much value on a clean beach! read more

The Legian Beach has several cottages and a main house with several rooms. The state of the rooms is rather bad. The main building is also right at the entrance on the road. So if you are unlucky enough, you get a room at the entrance to the busy street. In the price was a breakfast in the terms. Wireless internet access was possible everywhere.     We had a cottage booked. It was very small. It had a large window. The bathroom was okay, our toilet was not close, so it is next to the toilet always waterpools had. We have already been in four different hotels in Bali and the rooms in legian was the worst.

    The hotel has several restaurants. We have only the bale banjar for breakfast used. The italian restaurant we only once visit and it was delicious, but expensive, as in most hotels there. The bar we only used once to new year's eve and it was good. The restaurants were very clean. For breakfast there was everything you could wish for, however not always in a good quality. On the top floor you can for breakfast also pancakes and crepes get, a must, they were absolutely delicious. There in the hotel very many australians were, was the breakfast not always quiet to enjoy. Also we had to for a very long time for a clean, set table to wait. Also the coffee and the water was only partly after complaing twice request. Our opinion is for breakfast not a regulated drain. The staff made mals these, the. But none seemed for something to be responsible, so you partly very long had to wait for anything. The breakfast buffet but it was always quickly refilled.

    The staff at the breakfast buffet was partly very unfriendly. My husband was often than Boss or brother in the restaurant for breakfast syndromal (this is usual with the street traders, but not in a hotel!) Although the staff at the reception was friendly, forgot but often a bit. On the first day on arrival, we asked for a make a breakfast box for the next day, because we before 7 o'clock the hotel verlissen. We asked twice after. The next morning but had then neimand more of a idea. The same arrival at the hotel. Our air conditioning didn't work really. We ruften then the front desk and this said and it came immediately someone. Night 20 minutes is unfortunately still nobody appeared and then had to call. The staff by the pool understood partly not once 10. steps in english, we had to then partly with indonesian figures help that. The staff should in our opinion be schooled better. But have to say, that the staff italian restaurant in the afternoon very pleasant was.

    The einten beach chairs were already in their old. Otherwise it was at the two pools very pleasant. Sports or similar we didn't use. We have only a surfboard for 1 hour for rp. 50000 rented.

    The legian lies directly at the beach, only by car traveled road separately. The airport is by car approximately 15 minutes out. Since the hotel but very much traffic had, you had to with very much traffic in Kuta/legian be expected. Small shops, restaurants and bars were right around the corner.

Because we the hotel knew, we specifically booked. We weren't disappointed. It is next to the Bali mandira one of the two best hotels on Legian Beach. Straight is the dining room-built, is however not disturbing. From the hotel one arrives in just a few minutes in 'life' of Bali. Nevertheless it is very quiet. We can only really be recommended. read more

The extensive construction site-and renovation works on the complex were during our stay already mostly complete, just behind the breakfast room was during the day still worked (but without machines). Our tour operator informed us before at home and we should also the possibility had free to change. From the hotel management were the guests because of the small noise to a dinner from the buffet invited. As a contrast to the very loud and hectic place legian it was on the complex luckily pleasantly quiet. Merely in the field of two pools one noticed, that relatively lots of guests ... with children were present. We stayed in a deluxe garden -bungalow, where the individual units for asian standards but rather small. A bit disappointed we were from the large and therefore also loud breakfast room, the otherwise very bare and sober was. Luckily there were but also the possibility in the open, with beautiful view of the sea, for breakfast. However it was from a quite further away until the buffet on the first floor of the restaurant. Gladly we took the long way daily in purchase. Quality and selection at the breakfast buffet were 4-star standard of the hotel. Overpriced we found the drinks prices. For a big bottle of local beer and a mineral water, as an example, around 9 Euro charged ( included supplement for tax and service). Such price, in a middle class -hotel on Bali, are simply too high. Finally, I would like to not miss, special friendliness of the staff to mention. read more

Clear change hotels with the years, but it is important, as it now is, and not as it was before. And now it is a good hotel, with nice staff, good location. From the site you don't get much with. But the statement our travel agent prior to, everything would be past it would still a couple more plants set is already far from the window rested.     We had a bungalow, very quiet, very nice! I would absolutely recommend a bungalow and no standard to book! The main building is not good the rooms can be very dark and noisy (bars in legian, builders etc.). The bungalow was great.

    We had only breakfast, and that was good. There was something for everyone. Was excellent, the snacks-better than some german confectionery! And everything always fresh. As compensation for the construction there was once a evening buffet (we were not told, that one day started early, we by accident from other guests shortly before, heard), bad, however, it would not, if we missed. But at lunch stayed in the pool area the snacks delicious. A real minus point are the price of drinks. As a former more touristic we know really, that prices in the hotel always higher than 'outside'. But for a bottle of evian 1.5 liter converted € 6,- by the pool to ask is steep. Also the restaurants outside pay taxes, because this argument at this point already times came. The guests know but to help \u263a, whether through a trip to the beach or otherwise.

    The staff are very friendly. However for breakfast could the service really be better. There are tables were often not cleared, not clean and the guest waiting stop then. You get time longer no tea or coffee, a marmeladenaludeckelchen was already times half a day on the floor the service below, and the staff sees so simply not and pass... At 9 o'clock the bread from, also the juices were often empty. So nice they are all, it could be better. We have not a single experienced unfriendly employees, on the contrary. The room cleaning was ok, not perfect, but ok.

    There are 2 pools, always enough sunbeds, always enough shade, the small pool is music, not too loud, good choice. The loungers on the promenade are brilliant! Thick padded, very comfortable! Great and very popular! Towels are provided, if you after the new ask, you get which, just as long as the loungers. Great. We had ' our beach boys ' right on the hotel, lsc legian surf center. The loungers cost about €4, -with umbrella. Annoying are the many salesmen, especially if you the first time at the beach is, afterwards, it is. The bongo music, the singing and the sunset with the boys from lsc was indescribable and one should not miss.

Very beautiful hotel, room spacious and clean, by the pool you can really great relaxing, since this is not crowded. The beach is in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast is varied and very tasty. read more

We have this hotel after a round trip booked for a week beach vacation, thus we can comparisons. We got the rooms for exactly 15 hours and were on the ground floor quartered, we had booked room with 30 meters² we got which, to our reservation of consumption were. That was not acceptable, in the rooms came no natural light and the balcony we need not talk. The lady at the reception, the we solution asked and with our reservation familiar made, shook us and stressed, no other room to have. I asked again a solution, and then my tone ... a little while vigorously, actually I had vacation and didn't want to things. She said, the hotel is booked and can my problem not understand. So we moved the first day without solution thence. On the next day was the ' Pinokioveranstaltung ', where the vacations always the beautiful of the travel agency advertised and the people activities, excursions to book. We were on the mat and asked for us responsible staff a solution. It took no 2 minutes and we booked through his help, immediately 2 new room in the 2nd floor, by the size 30 meters², as booked and no comparison to the ground floor. From there on it was a good vacation. Also check out the same problem, the room extra a day for 2 hours extended, available until 14 o'clock. Point 12 was layer, we arrived in the rooms. At the start at 13 o'clock klingelde the telephone and the lady inquired, where we stay. Not to mention, someone around our luggage cared could have been. Itself is the man. The construction noises was no impairment for us and the complex itself through this short way to the beach a good location. The service was very different mood, some very friendly, other had me to do and acknowledged us none view. Since we really through round trip comparisons could, was this hotel for us not the sensation the island. For normal beach vacation nothing eight fifteen by the location suitable, so nothing special. The garden is very nice and tidy and with the small house as room certainly a other impression leaving for the main building it is expandable. The location to the lively town is good and we have in any case felt safe. The food was more than enough and it would have been nice, if it from the many exotic fruit a small selection besides melons Pineapple and papaya would have given, banana I forgot to mention. In general it is an average hotel. We also have to occasional agree, that for about 2000, -€ per person for 2 weeks much better hotels in Asien finds! Also the partly mentioned Ballermann-feeling at the beach isn't far -fetched! Also the prices inside of the hotel for ( locals) drinks and food are for Asian standards very high (Bintang -beer, 0.33 litre for circa 3,50 Euro, cocktails from about 6, -€) Unacceptable however the following circumstance: in the hotel complex there is a construction site with all its problems, particularly noise solid art. Totally incomprehensible, that work ..., which was in the inner of the building can be performed, in pool proximity to be transacted (all day Edit small glass with the flex)! The construction is a' 7 days the week-construction' from early until late. Also helps the free dinner away, which us without specifying reasons has been granted. Unacceptable however the fact that this construction is a long-term project and, the no instruction when booking took place. Since the construction after the condition a while on be the hotel is currently not recommendable. read more

Whoever is looking for rest and relaxation, is here surely wrong. For Partytiere or travelers, a short stopover want to take, is the legian a good choice. It is very centrally situated, but nevertheless at the beach. All together a good, cheap hotel. read more

We were 14 days honeymoon in Bali been. After the first culture shock at the airport survived, it went right with the minivan to legian beach hotel. The hotel is one of the very few who a direct access to the beach has. One must only over a not busy Uferbromenade go and then you at the beach. The staff at the hotel was perfect mega friendly which I so nocch not experienced-) 5 stars. The whole hotel is located in great condition and it was missing to us at nothing. As the dining room has been converted we ... got as compensation the buffet in the evening a steal. From the construction we did not hear. Every time we would check in again there. Very well run hotel, gladly come again Clean cared for complex, beautiful pools, friendly staff. Short walk to shops, restaurants, pubs. Only by a small unbefahrenen way separated from the beach. Very nice Sunsets, unfortunately high waves, therefore hardly swim in the sea possible. read more

At the time of our stay was the main restaurant in reconstruction condition. Unfortunately one had for breakfast loud construction noises right around. The dishes directly outside alfresco set up. In the tropical climate, the, that of course immediately Fruchfliegen etc. On foodstuffs were. Because of of the noise and the construction was all guests participation in the evening buffet free made possible. The food here was reasonable, unfortunately was the food but almost exclusively European. Local food there was only à la carte against payment and one Sunday. Beach chairs there was only for payment from about 3a 5 ... Euro on the day with other people, because the hotel through a small promenade separated from the beach is. Our first room in the main building was quite dirty, that means large black mold stain under the air conditioning and dirt/dust on the bedframe. After the change of the room there was so far no problem more. At any wrong impression iNSPIRE. The hotel is in itself reasonable, but you can't expect too much. Bathe and snorkeling is at the beach from legian not possible because there is a very strong surf with high waves there is, therefore, the place was under surfers. Shopping and party you can directly in the area about 15 minutes hike to the party center the island ( sky garden disco). The construction is probably even longer. Great hotel in legian, We had a deluxe bungalow booked, these are located in a very nice garden area, absolutely Quiet. The location of the hotel, just great. Only by a uferstrasse, the cars not traffic, separated from the beach. To the breakfast and dinner you sit on the large terrace and has a very beautiful view of the sea. The beach very clean only the waves somewhat large, therefore swimming was hardly possible. The surfer feel absolutely at home. A we want especially stress. Such a friendly staff we stayed in any hotel met. From the bellboy, gardener, the ... lots of hard-working hands for breakfast and dinner. Kudos we can only say. We can recommend this hotel without any reservations. The place legian and the nearby Kuta, because everyone has to decide himself what he needed or not. In legian there are some bars with live band, are OK. If you were on Bali you should also country and people meet. We already from at home when HolidayCheck after a local tour operator research and are on Hans prodded. We gave him from at home a mailed, an appointment in our hotel agreed, worked great. We have 3 excursions booked. We were too Fourth, we both, Hans and the driver. We had a very, very nice excursions, Hans was very flexible, know an answer for everything and the people, culture of this wonderful country very much closer and the whole German language. I was already in April 2011 on the trip, for a few nights in this hotel and that has me so well fallen, that I again wanted. Especially because of the location and the one for breakfast a magnificent view to the sea has, were a major factor, I this hotel selected The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and has very much selection, but what of the rest of the food regards in the restaurant, I can't recommend it! For the money you get someplace else better food over. I am last year by Bali traveled and have partly some paid ... more, for hotels the less had to offer as this hotel. I personally was a very generous, bright and secure rooms, with breakfast buffet and direct beach area very important and the was in legian beach hotel!
