Perfect for a city trip! Car recommended for trip to the castle schloss hellbrunn, otherwise you could get by on foot into town/old town. Shopping possibilities also around the corner. We had a room for 2 people and a for 4 people receive, which big enough was. Also the bathroom was clean and pleasant. Gladly again! read more

Very beautiful hotel and full worth 3 stars.
Is only few minutes on foot from the city centre.
Unfortunately the information the we from the reception got not always quite rightly.
The free shuttle service to the casino has worked perfectly. read more

The star inn reminded of a Ibis Hotel - no wonder, the founders of the chain from accor hotels. Accordingly the rooms are simple, but practically equipped. The bathroom is rather small, but functional and clean.
Although the hotel not directly in the center is, is this on foot in a few minutes through the mönchsbergtunnel distance.
We booked through booking. com booked a special rate, the a really excellent price-performance ratio offered. read more

The hotel is very centrally located, about 100 meters away the house is a bus stop with which one could get everywhere. However the way is on foot also not very far! The hotel is very clean, the room is in a very good, modern and clean state. The breakfast is very recommended, there is plenty of everything there and it is often filled up. The staff are very friendly and stands with advice and act to the side. I would definitely recommend this hotel! read more

We had a simple room, the well equipped was. From the mönchsberg hotel one reaches the center with its sights (getreidegasse, mozart's birthplace, festival hall ) on foot through the mönchsberg tunnel. The breakfast buffet was the best. read more

For a city break to Salzburg - especially by car - excellent. Parking garage in the house, only about a five minute walk to the center of the center from Salzburg, links to the public transport nearby the hotel. Uncomplicated completion of the room to check-out. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nice and clean rooms, value for money is ideal for Salzburg and the location of the hotel. read more

Very good location to the center.
Garage expensive and pedantic. For retracting have to the front desk updates, the gate to open.
The room was clean. The toilet was however not cleaned. But immediately go back.
In the bathroom there was only two bath towels. read more

The hotel has a great location, great breakfast and is clean.
It is perfect for a city break, because one about minutes in the old town and there you will find restaurants to an olde-worlde everything!
The only fault was a very small breakfast room, but by inexplicable reasons, we had to not wait long to be seated. read more

Very central location right on the mönchsberg. Excellent service with questions. Good breakfast (completely enough sausage, jams, Baguette, coffee- and juice machine, scrambled egg was many a time cold to luke warm). Great value for money read more

Great location, good hotel - we would on our next stay in Salzburg again choose. Positive : large room, very nice bathroom, good breakfast. Less beautifully: different competence of the front desk employee, were of very friendly and competent young man welcome. From the next day was a young lady at the front desk, the issues to excursions/events not wanted and no could give any advice. Breakfast could be at the muesli nor be improved. As well as dried fruit/nuts/linseed etc. For the muesli would be nice. Breakfast is all together however good. Recommendable! read more

The location of the hotel, cleanliness and friendliness to this price are not to beat. Bus line 1 to the train station keep directly in front of the tüe. I have already the 2. x here genächtigt, summer festival in the summer, and was thrilled. read more

We spent the turn of the year in Salzburg spend. For a purely a city hotel was the Star Inn very good.
The room was nothing to complain, according to the price large enough. The bathroom would have for 2 people a bit bigger need to be. The room was very clean and attractive.
The breakfast buffet was varied and was always immediately refilled. Near our next Salzburg-visit we will book this hotel again. read more

For a short stay this hotel is definitely recommendable, as you in Salzburg very much undertake and the rooms only for sleeping needs. Everything is available, but very impersonal and cool.
