Yachthotel Chiemsee^{(4 stars)}

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in December at the Yachthotel. We loved absolutely everything about the hotel and will make it our home away from home while visiting Prien. It is a terrific location, has terrific grounds and rooms. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the quaint bar to start and end our evening. It would be a great place to stay in all seasons. read more

My wife and I were all around very satisfied. Kitchen, room service, cleanliness and front desk, everything so, like this from a four star hotel expected. And not to forget - the magnificent view on the Chiemsee. With our next stay in chiemgau we will definitely again guests his. read more

Room the so-called west side are at the hotel parking and at the through road after prien. As a constant come and go the conference attendees and travellers who the hotel only as transit station use, is actually day and night hardly any peace. From 6:00 starts then the whole zulieferservice for the hotel. In summary: the night's sleep was limited to the period between about 0:00 and 6:00. For relaxation so not suitable. We visited the hotel with my 2 teenage sons and had a wonderful break. The hotel had a lot of hidden touches and nothing was too much trouble for the staff which made the whole experience very relaxing. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the food was excellent. We had lake side rooms and the view was great and the rooms very comfortable. The indoor pool area with steam room, sauna and outdoor hot tub were to a high standard and my sons also enjoyed the squash, table tennis. gym and free internet useage. I would definetly ... recommend this hotel, I have stayed in other 4* and 5* hotels in the past and this was the best experience for me and I have come back from my stay feeling throughly relaxed and revitlised. My husband and sons feel the same Other activities for us included hiring bikes from the hotel and cycling around the lake, a day trip on the train to Austria and hiring a boat, along with some pleasant evening meals at various restaurants. The weather was gorgeous and swimming in the lake was great as the water is so clear. read more

The yachthotel Chiemsee in Prien I can or should I just a short description when you leave, because it is not for more worth it. After a wonderful vacation in a great hotel the bar in Ellmau, we wanted here a couple more days on Chiemsee stay. Unfortunately here we were very disappointed. An outdated hotel, where with signs in the bathroom not sehbare renovations like warm water from a heating than a boiler out. Where do I begin the best at! So breakfast was completely reasonable and it was a whole lot of choice. For such a hotel orange ... juice from a machine, as it into the hotels from Spain or Italy enclosed. Terrible! The room was in an outdated condition which through the of the terrace standing trees was very dark. The mattresses in the two from the hotel said King size beds were a catastrophe. Completely saggy and soft, where the other morning strong lower back pain had. The bathroom was very dated and very small. A bath with a shower curtain, a toilet and a washbasin into a small room. What surprised us was, that the maids cordially by a tip thanks have. Apparently is here in this hotel very little tip given! The freshly renovated indoor swimming pool is for the hotel way too small. In the swimming pool are 5 chairs and a Großliege for the whole hotel available. In the sauna and relaxation area were only three loungers to find! I don't know, which the hotel for the size of the hotel think, what the people in case of bad weather go! We are on a rainy day and with a full swimming pool ( as the Ölsardienen ) then strolled or to the Wendelstein dangers. In the room a menu from the restaurant, the apparently completely outdated is. There are food, the in the restaurant not more! After an evening in the restaurant, where these meals order and not to get could, we are just outside eat out. The welcoming at the reception was also not very appealing, as we discuss had to many days we actually had booked. We had booked for four nights and we were first only three nights confirmed. But in our favor turned around. So the room key into your hand pressed and they go once left and then turn right again, that was it. No escort to the room, we had to ourselves. The only positive was the garden with the small port. It was the only thing, that I here about this hotel positive found. Into town it is about 3 kilometers on foot. All other restaurants are more than reachable on foot and the investors the cruise is about 10 minutes to walk. To our stay very much guests over 60 years anyway. I will not recommend this hotel. read more

Rarely such a lovely, attentive and courteous service. As a family with 1-year old child we never had the impression, that child in the restaurant etc. Disturbing. On the contrary, without requesting a high chair for us... Very nice! read more

After I have stayed with the company in this hotel stayed overnight it remained in best memory and we were not disappointed. Our whole family was the friendly, discreet service good, the food was fantastic and our dogs were very friendly and even found extra Begrüßungsleckerli in the room before. We have the hotel for a short break in May already booked again. read more

A very nice hotel directly with a view of the sea. Very nice, friendly and accommodating staff in all areas, all very welcoming. Easter you have for children also really nice. Wow. You can't say much, except super super super. Food very, very good. Everything your heart desires. Swimming pool newly renovated, perhaps a lot of chairs. Rooms could maybe be a bit bigger, if one to three or four is, but also only minimal. As a couple optimal. We were very happy. We will be back! read more

We were although it is only a night but US and the children liked it very much. The pool in the hotel is fully nice and the hot tub is brilliant. Beside the breakfast area is equal to the games room for children, so great if the kids not last forever for the food wanted to sit. Very friendly staff. read more

Was with my grandchild to a cycling along the Chiemsee. At the front desk we were welcomed in a friendly manner. We got a beautiful, clean and cozy room, although we only for one night remained. The good Service, as well as the excellent kitchen we would like to especially highlight. The location of the hotel is for Bootsaus - Flights, as well as Cycling very suitable. read more
