Great hotel in central -Pattaya. The beach is just a few meters away, but it is not so nice. Either you drove with the Bhat-taxi for about 50 cents to jomtien or enjoy the really beautiful pool. You can directly to the pool bar swim and there are drinks, while you are still half in the water is. On the chairs you have free wi-fi-front desk.
The rooms are nicely furnished and on the upper floors has a beautiful view of the sea. Only the bathroom has notes weaknesses. Since the renovation in a couple of years, you can't get ... more showers, without water on the border the bathtub and the floor is. So it was necessarily to a bit of mold. In spite of the central location is it in the rooms nice and quiet. Also in the rooms you have wi-fi, but mostly is not free.
There is also in the rooms a free safety deposit box and a flat-screen tv with german channels. The in our catalog mentioned dvd player was not available, we did however also not miss it.
The breakfast buffet is varied and it tasted also everything very well. Now you can but unfortunately only until 10:30 breakfast. Early until 11:00 and you can only hope, that the old times again be introduced.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a fitness studio attached. The studio is small, but for the vacation adequate. read more

A great hotel. However mold in the bathroom. After my complaint try mold in the bathroom to remove. Attempt failed. Then after 2 days a room changing offered. I think a 4a 5 star hotel should be in the bathroom 4a worth 5 stars his. The location of the hotel and everything else in the hotel is super. That is why I have only after 5 days the hotel for a 3 star hotel without mold exchanged. read more

We wanted us Pattaya look and as we already knew, that no dream beach awaits us, we have the following things for the choice of hotel as priority: beautiful pool area, good location of the hotel and modern, good equipped room. The choice much on the Marriott, because in the same price range to selection standing Hilton Hotel because of the location on a shopping center no large pool area could offer. The pool the Marriott convinced because of the palm trees and trees, so that there are also shady places gave. There was also not a problem free beach ... chairs. The location directly at the beach, with many surrounding bars, restaurant and options for shopping was also no disappointment. Only the rooms were our opinion total Flop. Although we extra against tidy extra charge in advance of the premier room booked, because these newly renovated. The renovation referred apparently solely on a part of the bathroom and the floor in the corridor. The rest of the furniture made a shabby impression. So our last three star hotel on Phuket was not poor equipped. It is reasonable value for money here unfortunately not at all. The cleanliness the room was OK. Just round edges and often a few hair from the maid. That was until now but almost in any Thai hotel so. Sad and until now unique for me was the cleanliness outside the room. The staircase in the two weeks not even swept once, despite countless leaves and flowers. Also a seconded empty bottle on a window-sill in the staircase was the next 6 days up to our check out not removed. One day when it somewhat stormy on night was and we at 11 o'clock at the pool arrived, everything was around the entire pool with plenty of debris from the trees defaced. Despite about 5-6 man staff, the was but only for the sale of drinks by the pool concentrated (it was at 8a 10 guests on the beach chairs not really lots to do), did not until something, as a manager of the hotel by the outdoor area went. Afterwards were all efficient at sweep. These are all relatively unimportant things, the not disturb us, but at the hotel category( star and price) we were surprised us a little. The food and selection of drinks we have to prevent our budget not taken into account. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, drinks you get in the family marts and 7-eleven. The drink prices in the hotel are really outrageous. Soft drinks 3 euro, beer 5 euro( Canned beer-no draft beer ). In conclusion the following information: if I the hotel recommend can?-no. Therefore the hooks with yes, because there is no no and no too hard would be. Location and pool are good and we liked it, rooms and price were not at all reasonable and, this value for money not recommendable. Therefore decide yourself where your priorities lie! Last tip: do not access to the internet book in the hotel. Costs about 16 euro per day. On the other side of the street the entrance of the hotel turn left out of the family Mart there is an internet cafe. Where it cost 1 Baht the minute. read more

The prices in the Marriott are places to go shopping near way too expensive. A 0.33 tin beer cost about five euros.
The hotel staff however was friendly and understood partly even a little German. The location of the hotel was good. To the so-called beach you only need to over the street. If you in the hotel the balcony was heard nothing from the bustle outside.
The rooms are already worn and the bathroom is small and dingy.
The breakfast was okay.
In short: last year we had a four star hotel the far better. Five stars for ... this hotel not justified. read more

pool area except for the cushions( filthy) reasonable. As well as the rooms, but the bath (2-square-foot) is a disaster; make filthy impression. The breakfast 5 star is not, but maximum two; little choice, staubtrockenes bread. Our room key area was broken, on two occasions we were able to the room not worn-out, several times we were not able to open and needed a technician or new Inlet Maps. In the entire hotel and in pattaya it it stormed with Russians, the whole plate fulfilled. read more

We have stayed in many hotels in Thailand, including in pattaya.
Every hotel has its pros and cons. But the layout is the Marriott was the best choice for us. Great location, great pool area, very friendly staff, guests, etc. here you can the hustle and bustle of noisy pattaya if necessary very well escape. It gave us the stay in pattaya once again saved, after three days from the general condition of hotel Siam bayshore in moved to the Marriott. We have the grin from the face. I give thanks to the Marriott!

We were from 25 December 2010 to 12 January 2011 in the hotel. The hotel lived up to the reviews of other guests. The garden was wonderful and our (standard) room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was good, service too. The new Year's Eve cost 180 €and the buffet was not worth it.
This is however only a info for travellers planning a stay over the turn of the year.
The hotel is the best advice for someone in the middle of the lively pattaya holidays wants.
A word about the Russian guests. There are many and they can hardly any ... English, there were in our Erfahrng but nice friendly families with a slightly different culture.
In the entire time not a Russian guest the hotel is negative.
All-inclusive hotels in the very different.
The share was around 60% of the guests. Unpleasant Chinese tour groups are only 1-2 nights stay. There the post office goes off. read more

The bathroom was very small, only suitable for 1 person. Furthermore, I do not think it is okay for a company. 500 extra BTH must pay-per day, although you would expect the price of a double room we paid. There are a lot of hotels in the area with no 'Joiner fee' demand. Furthermore, many rooms are equipped with a door to the next room provided, through which you can hear everything. From the neighbors snoring to the crying baby, or the tv, this should not be in this price range. The tropical garden around the pool is amazing and ... world class. read more

A green, peaceful retreat in the busy, for our taste too trashy and pretty ugly pattaya. This is however a different theme. Were very pleased with the hotel. Great service, very friendly, dedicated staff. Nice, modern premier-deluxe room in the ninth floor for little money. Lovely view of the sea and the great pool with the beautiful gardens. Breakfast from 6-11 o'clock good and varied. Very international clientele, many Asians, many children, nice mix of old and young. Fortunately, the Marriott not a typical sex shed. Obvious aftereffects prostitution and we didn't notice in the hotel itself. Located right in ... front of the door but the ugly city beach with the evening accumulated girls and only a few 100 meters away Boyz town and walking street. You are not far. read more
