The 2 nights in hectic Bangkok we stayed at the ariyasomvilla spent, we really enjoyed it, especially the tasteful decor and the nice english owner of the always up for a talk presented was.
Service very accommodating, the rooms very pleasant, the location ok, directly at a klong located, the food very fancy, for example no meat, very good wines, so overall highly recommended, completely different than the large impersonal hotel in the town. read more

A something else hotel in Bangkok

The maximum three-storey hotel is sometimes other as the otherwise dominant skyscrapers in the 5-star category. It is located at the end a cul-de-sac. A page is well concealed by a channel limited ( by the pool you can hear the driving by Ships and a breeze 'sea air' can vorbeiwehen ). The hotel lies nearby a skytrain station (10 to 15 minutes away on foot). About right away there was a McDonalds and pizza Hut, in case you once again a little 'used' to eat would like. In the immediate there are because of of the hospital a few ... men with fruit, Fleischspiessen etc.
The breakfast is available à la carte. Was not our favorite, as the selection not so rich was as in other hotels ( purely vegetarian breakfast, but also with this limit you can make more) and to the other missing possibility before to look at, which one could order. In addition the local problem the partly somewhat limited foreign languages skills the Thai and in case sometimes not understood, then not always asked. Will the breakfast exciting-)
The rooms, in particular the bathroom, are spacious. Ours was a little worn. The service around the room was lacking it somewhat. This begins with missing information in the room on (no hotel reef eTC. ). In our opinion was the bed linen within the 8 days not changed. A new bathrobe there was at the ' change of towels' not automatically. The television program is quite limited ( less than 10 channels, of which only 4 in English, the rest of Thai). The internet via Wi-Fi was only sporadically available.
The pool is big enough, offers however only place for about 10 sunbeds. Half of them were also always in the shade. The cleanliness the toilets by the pool was insufficient.
Altogether we were a bit disappointed from the hotel, particularly after the many good reviews here.
Whoever search after the service and the class of a five star hotels is, should definitely another hotel book. There are in this price range more than enough in Bangkok. In case you however sometimes other, rather nationaltypical want to try, you can this hotel try. read more

Every kind praise, every superlative is an understatement. It is a piece of art, here is simply right everything. You should avoid the hotel as little as possible leave, as nice as it is nowhere in Bangkok. read more

Unusual for Bangkok: historic small villas, the English with much attention to detail. The hotel is small and has a personal charisma, and we also therefore immediately felt good. The romos and the bathroom are tastefully furnished. The attached restaurant has a row good food, breakfast is without some fault. The pool is small, but for the few hotel guests adequate and also with fun for children. The hotel lies at the end of sukhumvit soi 1, right on the canal. The sukhumvit is approximately 5 to 10 minutes, a 7 eleven is close at the hotel. If you're not ... one of the usual hotel bunkers are looking for, but individualized accommodation, for the hotel is exactly the right thing. read more

Paradise in Bangkok! The Hotel Villa Ariyasom surprised in every way. The first impression is wonderful. The whole complex is very well maintained. The rooms are very large and very nicely decorated. The bathroom surpasses everything one more time.
Staff are very friendly and courteous.
The hotel's restaurant, vegetarian or fish dishes offered. Very tasty. (Meat is none)
In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket (about 3-4 minutes) 7/11, various shopping and fast food chains like McDonalds & Co (about ten minutes) Moreover, there were various sorts of smaller restaurants and, of course, steamed.
The hotel is located in ... a cul-de-sac and is, therefore, on the first view could not be seen. You can tell it, it is the flowery paradise. (At the end of the street)
The sky train is within minutes to reach. encounter.
I added pictures, say the rest. read more

Very nice huge double room with a very large warm bath.
We had booked bed and breakfast, we were very content with the service and can therefore the hotel unlimited highly recommend.
The nearest skytrain station is about ten minutes walk. read more

Idyll in chaos
Of course, there are big, modern hotels in Bangkok, perhaps the most even are cheaper. However, everyone should consider, if it is at the end of a trip day here better referring to.
If it's the first time the SOI 1 to the hotel, an already doubts, if the choice was right. But it is only time in his room, you can enjoy the typical Thai atmosphere. The deluxe room all are in the new building, are equipped with large beds and bathroom. Also the garden with pool and Jacuzzi is very quaint and perfectly located in ... a quiet area. After a busy day you can relax beautifully and you almost forget, as it was just a few meters away looks. The breakfast is not sumptuous, but basically you get almost everything (croissants, jam, eggs, etc.) and not have to wait in line-as usual-at the buffet. Furthermore, you can enjoy your breakfast outside. Overall, small, but very nice.
Tips:
Hotel shuttle: in addition to the volumes in the arrivals hall, as well as in the entire arrival is a provider switch. Very well-kept car and minibuses. The price is a bit higher than the official taxis- therefor but very reliable. At the same time as booking return there is a discount.
Drive 65 sukhumvit SOI 1: The sukhumvit road is the longest street (leads to Cambodia) Thailand. Soi means block. So drive to see and then the first street to the end (hotel is located on the left hand side, a bit tucked away, right on the Canal). Don't be surprised, then when the taxi a Krankenhausgelände to the hotel, it is only a short cut.
To the skytrain station is about five minutes. On the back of the hotel runs a channel. From there you can take the express boat toward the city. The entrance is only about 150 meters away. Public means of transportation in any case more quickly than taxis, because the rush hour two kilometer can mean two hours driving time.
Loy Nava dinner cruise-evening cruise on the river. Directly on the Internet, since the tour operator usually the first tour of 19,30 17,30 to be booked. The second tour begins against 20:00 o'clock. Shuttle service included. Food and atmosphere are very good.
Excursions over TUI, etc. book, as the times because of the traffic in the period between six and seven o'clock beach chairs and a great deal of time for those Transport from A to B is lost. Lot better and individual www. Green-mango. Net/Bangkok. Very good guide, small groups, and so on also you win a lot of time through the use of the public means of transportation as skytrain or express boat.

Small stylish city hotel, large rooms and nice big bathroom, clean, with us without balcony, single Pane disadvantageous, since the moment is a construction site across the street. Excellent intercontinental and Thai breakfast. The pool was too small, but nice laid out. At the we had no neighboring Northern klong odors notice; during the day Fast boat ferries. Skytrain Phloen Chit about 500 meters away. A lot of taxi transport in the SOI 1, 200 meters away as hospital. Hotel Charme, style, food and service convinced. Overall I recommend it! read more

This small Boutique Hotel is located in a small tropical garden and was fantastic. It is simply right everything, from the service to the cleanliness. We were more than impressed. The friendliness of the staff and the family can't be beat. We have looked at great hotels in Bangkok, but for us in the future, only 'our' Ariyasomvilla in question. Traffic connections behind the hotel (the river and the
long tail boats) or five minutes walk around the corner and the skytrain, but is very hard to get used to, since full. For three people we had always fear, that ... one is not. So we give this hotel the highest score, as we are well travelled, something like this nice never had. read more

The hotel is a little on the small side (23 rooms) and many more charm the large 200 room hotel. The condition of the hotel is great and nearly new. the room was clean and had all the necessary extras such as safe, tv... Wiki Internet access is available in all rooms free of charge. The pool is clean and invites you to relax. The location is not great, but 500 meters in one is in the middle in it and the skytrain 'Nana'; therefor it is extremely quiet for Bangkok! read more
