The hotel was in great condition. The rooms are huge and you feel in the hotel very probably. Especially the food was wonderful. Small faults were greeted by the very hard-working front desk eliminated. I have stayed in many hotel, this hotel is very recommendable read more

Good location - 3 -minute walk to checkpoint charlie. There is also a stop of the hop on/hop off city tour. The subway-station before of the hotel door-unfortunately in the moment a piece of the line under construction. The cozy hotel bar is unfortunately not within of the hotel distance. You have to onto the street and during the next situated again purely. In case of bad weather a bit uncomfortable. read more

The hotel is on the Friedrichstraße ( Kreuzberg), nearby checkpoint Charlie. It is a beautiful four star hotel for city breaks. The breakfast buffet everything contains, you need for a good start of the day. Only the room is narrow, which at certain times to bottlenecks in the places leads. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As until 2013 a construction site of the U-Bahn line U6 on 'under the Linden' is, is a subway shuttle furnished. However by bus M29 ( stop Kochstrasse/checkpoint Charlie) one comes fast to a next subway-stop and then into town. The public transport ... is in Berlin excellent. One must only all possibilities with the metro, S-Bahn, bus and tram use. read more

We had a very large room consisting of a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom, although we only a double room had booked. The rooms are classic modern decor and classy with high ceilings. In the breakfast room it was relatively narrow ( the hotel splinted booked). The quality in the restaurant ( breakfast and dinner) are great. The location of the hotel could not be better for a city visit. Just 50 meters from the subway and 5 minutes on foot to check-point Charlie respectively subway city where several subways go. After already several visits to Berlin this ... was the best hotel with best location. read more

Our room was a bit small however clean and cozy. The bed was large and very comfortable, a dream. Breakfast was very varied, unfortunately it was at certain times was very busy and the staff had then problem prices to be clear, so that sometimes some things like cheese or jams for example missing. Well also it pleased us that one on the street before and next to the hotel free parking. We really felt really good. read more

A hotel, as you for a city break wishes! We were in room 723 accommodated. The view toward the backyard was not so great ( but that is with a city journey anyway not a large role ) however therefor we had a beautiful and above all quiet room. The house is obviously very well insulated. All facilities, the one with a four star hotel expected, were available, like safe, fridge, air conditioning, otherwise hair dryer and make-up mirror in the bathroom. Particularly impressed we were by the TV with massive screen, as we it otherwise still in no other ... hotel in this size anywhere. The ' Angleterre is very centrally in Berlin-Mitte in Friedrichstraße ( nearby check-point Charlie) located. A subway station ( Kochstrasse) is a few meters from the hotel away, so you a very good traffic connection has. The service in the whole hotel including the bar we found to be very good. The guest structure is international, but-as far as we received could-for the staff at the hotel unproblematic was. We had booked accommodation with breakfast and we can only positive things to say. The buffet was very diverse and varied. There was something for every taste. However it was in the morning at certain peak times a bit difficult a table in the breakfast room to get. It consisted the possibility outside of the breakfast room in the open for breakfast (to a lateral road back ), however was early August the weather in the morning not so nice, that it for us a alternative would have been. read more

A very nice old building, a altogether nice hotel, from the for 4 stars but more expected. The 'peak' was the first breakfast, that one hour before the end almost completely broke was. The staff are very friendly, hard but seemed very helpless and uncoordinated. The other days it was at least from the facilities of the Buffests better. The rooms are big, clean and well equipped. We must have the easily conservative style may -really dark ( wood Panelling, floors.). The lifts in the back building are loud and somehow always' busy. One is really quite long. The ... location is very good, nearby subway and bus and several sights ( checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstr., Gendarmenmarkt, etc. read more

The hotel was for our city trip optimally located. Unfortunately had the BVG amount 'Unter den Linden' a subway-construction furnished, the detours led. But the hotel certainly nothing. We would gladly come again. read more

The friendliness at the front desk could be improved. The vouchers, the I after the transaction received, pointed out, from the reasons also always, to the transaction of single room now, even though I booked a room for me and my wife had booked. Suggest I called her hotel and received friendly information, that a cancellation and new booking not required. Anyway I would have the room and each guest receive a double room, whether it alone or accompanied by trip. During the check in told me then however a lady, a night would additionally 20 euros billed. I explained ... to her the above-described situation. Surly she said, that it would take someone discuss. I would then informed. The welcome drink was however only for one person. A communication on the decision on this subject, I received not. I feel very annoyed! Secondly, as I ID and password for my notebook ( internet connection) asked, I received a sheet with a rank. It was not clear, that it is ID and N D password. This should have been me to handing the Zettels can tell. I pointed out at the front desk on this failure now, my words were however unregarded. In short: the behavior of the staff at the front desk should customer will be, then I would hotel really good find. read more

Although the hotel little character were the rooms well equipped and obviously recently renovated. But: of 3 nights we have 2 almost sleepless spent. In the hotel found 2 events in the evening instead, the very loud music escorted and until 3 o'clock early takes. On our complaint we were told, it if a instruction on the events in the lift.
