We were as a part of a safari & beach kombireise for 1 week in karibuni rafiki and have these days really enjoyed. Quality and quantity of the food was fantastic, the bungalow was clean every day and from the size more than adequate. Altogether only maximally 4 bungalows and we found the peace and quiet and size the hotel wonderful! Extensive walks along the beach, in the chairs herumflezen and then a piece of cake even baked ☺, what else could you want?! Really recommendable! We will definitely come again and already look forward to it, us again Andrea ..., Marcus and the whole team be pampered. Thanks again for a great and super relaxing week! read more

    Large and well-equipped bungalows (with minibar, fan and air conditioning system) in the hotel, one directly at the beach. Bath and toilet separated. Everything very clean, discreet and tasteful furnishing and spatially generously designed.

    Absolute gourmet; We would have in Kenya really not expected and are from astonished not want to come out. All dishes were always freshly prepared and lovingly decorated, from the breakfast up to 4-course dinner.

    Come in and find out ☺. The whole team is really friendly and helpful. If you need help or have a question, is always someone there; all the staff speak perfect english-well, and the owners of course also german ☺.

    Wonderful peacefully located, in a large, beautiful garden grounds; directly at the beach. Shopping possibilities (supermarket & souvenir shops) however in the proximity in the next village.

The karibuni rafiki beach resort is a dreamlike small beach hotel, where you from the very first moment on feel welcome. A. and meter lead this hotel very exemplary and the impression, that all employees feel comfortable and thus a unique atmosphere for the guest. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the atmosphere casual-elegant without stuffy and snobby to be, the food was superb, the breakfast is very good, the warm rolls a pleasure, the wildlife and unique beach from Kenya round perfect, unforgettable impression from. This lovingly by the hosts Andrea and Markus laid out resort leaves nothing to the imagination; a piece of heaven on earth. By the ideal service you feel really like 'the princess and the pea' even the beverages you don't even have. The staff speaks very good english, is always willing to help and courteous. There's no better way! If this service a bit to complain about has, this can certainly not be helped! There is lots of regular guests, but as' novice ' you feel very in good hands and welcome. The only warning one can regarding the food ... speak: it is just so good and tasty, as well as plentiful, that you with 2 kilogram more on the hips after the vacation reckon. But honestly: who cares?! The loungers with its thick and super comfortable cushions at the beach are simply pristine. The coffee early morning on the terrace, as well as with our bungalow 'helfried' existing four-poster bed also on the terrace load however exactly to stay a while. The safari tour, which we very simple over Markus book, with lady m safari was a unique experience, in that we always gladly remember are. We can wonderful resort in any case really warmly recommend and certainly a day return! So: for all the wanderlust and absolute peace enjoy and a piece of paradise experience; packs your suitcase and bay this hotel! read more

In this small area you can relax wonderfully. Andrea, Markus and the staff try to fulfill every request. We arrived with two young children, which is unusual. The target group of the hotel are more people, simply want to relax. Andrea, Markus and the team have accepted the challenge and for us wonderful implemented. The resort has 4 bungalows-so manageable number of guests. The rooms are like the whole resort tastefully african and modern, perfectly clean with excellent guest service.     High of high quality and varied food. The resort is almost with board run. There is a breakfast buffet with fruit all sorts of, yoghurt, pancakes, jams, eggs and omelets in every conceivable kind freshly prepared, Sausage, cheese, butter, tomatoes, warm croissants, toast... For lunch always tasty surprises serves. In the afternoons there are coffee/ tea and pastry. And the crowning is the dinner with one every time otherwise lovingly set table and a excellent -course menu of highest quality. Special requests were always taken into account.

    You can take the ' ms Andy' with 1 day notice snorkeling go. Direct at the nearby reef. There is a diving school about 6 kilometer away, the will pick you up and takes. The resort on request safaris and a wonderful trip in the marine park between Tanzania and Kenya. There is more than enough loungers, protection from the sun etc. Access to the internet in the entire resort possible - even at the beach. Pool - totally clean-but we never used it, because the sea simply invited to swim. There is no disco in the resort we never missed. For this and for shopping you can 6 kilometer to ukunda drive.

Actually we are active tourist and with our tent in the world on the way. We wanted us but it really let go and test, as it is, a' luxury-Bath -vacation' to spend, the nevertheless far from the mass tourism, should be. Over Kurt and Elke ( lady M. safari ) we have the combined package 'safari and beach' booked. So we went after a week unforgotten safari to the Karibuni Rafiki beach resort Andrea and Markus. We had us for the bungalow 'Claudia' firmly, as this this sensational position right on the beach offers. This beach bungalow rounded our ... desire for' luxury' absolutely from. The bungalow itself is very tastefully decorated and has a massive bed, a dressing room with a fridge a large bathroom and Wi-Fi. 24 employee on 8 guests - there remains no desire openly. The staff are safi kabisa ( absolutely great) - very pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Andreas cooking were already widely praised and we can only agree with. Remains unforgotten the last evening, on which our terrace lovingly decorated and our Abschiedsmenü in romantic music handed. There was not a dry eye. It was really ' Karibuni Rafiki '. We can tell you Andrea and Markus fully recommend, since here ' Karibuni Rafiki ' really is still lived. read more

In february 2010 we booked with holiday check already hotel reviews submitted (for 'first time' it is worth it, these to read!) And it is this: For us is the karibuni rafiki beach resort simply a paradise, What it is not to exceed there is. The whole resort was very well-kept and with attention to detail laid out. The owners -Andrea and Markus- are very nice, Friendly and gracious hosts, the always aimed at are, You feel ... comfortable and it was very good. As well as the entire team. You will always with a smile and shall at any time very friendly information. The common, beautiful evenings remain forgotten. Here you can get-if You want-impressions of the country & people gave, the no other hotel offers. The highlight is the dinner. Also, when Andrea it is not like to hear or read: You and your team with international cuisine, the in our opinion Star level. All the ingredients were fresh and excellent prepared And presented. So something must simply be mentioned! We had ' beach & safari ' (Masai Mara) and were-to detail Perfect organization of Markus absolutely loved it. We had us for nothing Take care of it. Everything was Markus regulated. In conclusion it must be mentioned that: who peace and quiet in a small paradise (without annoying beach sellers) are looking for, is right at home here. You will always with a smile and receives in any case very friendly information. The common, beautiful nights remain forgotten. Who in this hotel something to moan about has, that is not to help! We have our little paradise on earth, and enjoyed it to the fullest. From the morning until the evening and from a to z everything was perfect. Beach, kitchen, bungalow, staff and hotel and so on have our expectations by far exceeded. The whole hotel area is gorgeous and tastefully designed. The furnishing is african and of good quality, everywhere you will find kind details - figures, decoration, candles, pillows and so on everything, from the bungalow to the beach is exceptional clean and tidy. In the sea you can swim without hesitation, as there is no sea urchins and so on gives, and the pool has a pleasant temperature. It is really peaceful and relaxing, you watch the sunrise over the sea on. There are no beach boys and you share this paradise with at best 6 other guests ( maximum ... 8 in the whole complex). There is enough sunbeds, very comfortable. read more

    The room is spacious, with a beautiful terrace with korbsässeln and bank with cushions, the bed has a comfortable mattress. The bathroom is huge and great equipped and has even German outlets, so no adapter is necessary. The air conditioning is good, and there is a fridge with mini bar, a telephone and a safe. The bungalow Claudia is right 5 meters from the beach, simply magnificent.

    In the morning you get on the terrace the bungalows have tea, and/or coffee, the breakfast has delicious bread (!) , jams, honey, muesli, fruit, eggs, sausage, cheese ( even cream cheese!) and much more. Lunch you get a light and delicious lunch, afternoon tea/ coffee and cake/ cookies, and evenings always a -course menu with unusual and delicious delicacies. It is everything freshly, varied and really delicious. The quality & hygiene are highest standards. The meals are international, highlight for us was the african evening with many african dishes. The beverages must be paid separately, however with very moderate prices ( to the purchase price).

    All the service are very friendly, accommodating and unobtrusive. The rooms are kept very clean, and ask always with a smile fulfilled. You will be asked, whether you for example need a drink, but it is never intrusive. The service personnel competent and always a joke - the friendliness goes far beyond the professional out. Andrea & Markus concerns also, that you completely feel at home, and evenings additionally at the bar and tell interesting stories from Kenya or mystery novels, you read.

    The pool is pleasant, was just the right temperature, and the loungers are numerously available and comfortable. On request are the loungers also changed, then, where you want. The beach is spotlessly clean and trees provide sufficient protection from the sun. There is a heavenly peace, there was no entertainers and no noise returns. Internet in the bungalow, as well as outside available. Leisure offers like snorkel you can take advantage of, furthermore organize Andrea & Markus various excursions. The shower in the room, as well as by the pool is very good.

    To the beach it was at best 20 meters, the beach itself is a wonderful sandy beach, the raked every morning is. The climate is less humid than in the Diani beach, which the next town is. Excursions by Andrea & Markus organized.

After in the already existing excellent reviews and on the homepage this paradise resort has been written, that this bungalow complex the pampering program that is exceptional offered, we will keep briefly and support the other reviews entirely. It is really perfect as described -we could before our dream vacation the resort also hardly believe.-) We arrived with very high expectations to Kenya and that can guarantee, that were surpassed. From the welcome cocktail, to adoption we were thoroughly spoilt and very friendly cared for. Just perfect! We can all, the while searching for a dream vacation with relaxing ... and enjoying are the Karibuni Rafiki beach resort 100% recommendable.-) read more

    Here there is nothing to improve. All of the staff are top. Andrea and Markus fulfilled every wish. A small example: Friends of us have for every day a small something solution. So we got every morning from Markus expressed a map on our breakfast table. Sometimes there was a massage from Pamela, time gave it from Markus expressed hochzeitsfotos, times organized the two a trommelkombo... The maps they have even on safari in Mara forwarded. Simply great... That is just personal care! But not that you think then you the whole day zugequatscht is. Everyone again wants...

This was our third vacation in Kenya. To the perfect safari providers have we now the perfect hotel for the beach vacation found. The Karibuni is a small, straightforward resort, the lovingly Andrea and Markus run. We rarely anywhere so felt at ease as the Karibuni. No matter wether staff, the rooms, the food, the beach, the service, there is nothing to moan and it was missing the icing on the cake is not. Only 8 months we could here already for the second time our personal dream vacation experience. Everything was exactly wonderful as 2011, it is thus our time review nothing to add. Again we have first class service, top food, great atmosphere and a dreamlike sandy beach can enjoy. Still for us, the informal flair and the warm Kind of Andrea and Markus, the special charm this wonderful complex from. We have during our stay a Flugsafari in Masai Mara made (2 nights Entim Mara Camp ). A dreamlike experience, really recommendable!     The experience starts in the early, if coffee, tea and biscuits on the terrace and a slow awakening possible. No stress, no hecticness for breakfast. There is everything, what you put on a breakfast buffet expect can. In the morning, fruit skewers or similar enough and for lunch there were a lunchsnack at the beach, or in the restaurant or wherever you want. :-) Evenings then a dinner better than the other! Andrea takes also eventual special requests of the guests and cooks individually!

    The resort is located in the south of Mombasa. Airport - resort: about 45 minutes. Depending on traffic and traffic in front of the ferry, the journey longer. The resort is such a gate and walls surrounded and you feel in this area very safe. In closer environment there are diving schools, were jetski rentals, as well as some small tourist markets (directly at the beach)

The complex is just brilliant. Altogether there were 'only' four bungalows, a( bungalow Claudia) is directly at the beach, the other three in the middle of the great garden area. The size and the equipment of the bungalows was very good, and everything is very tasty an African theme. In addition to a great terrace, on the one completely undisturbed and equipped with very comfortable seating and Liegemöbeln equipped. You feel from the start probably. Everything is always really clean, no matter, whether in the bungalow or around. Stay with full board, more in addition in the area 'gastronomy'. The ... guests are exclusively German, while we were there, we had four Austrian with us. read more

    The bungalows are very big, are very nicely furnished and an airco. Our bungalow ' Marius' had next to the large bed (with mosquito nets) a Kuschelsofa (also with mosquito net), a separate toilet, a bathroom with shower and a mini bar. There is a large wardrobe( with a safe) and lots of storage space available, so that you can feel the suitcase until the departure not at all must see. ☺

    Start the day with a coffee and a few Cookies on the bungaloweigenen terrace. If you enjoyed it, you can to the ingenious, very lush breakfast in the restaurant overrides.     In the bungalow and at the beach there is free Wi-Fi use, there is entertainment no (for all perfect, it gladly quiet). In the evening you could comfortably, together with John and Markus, at the bar sit and much of Kenya and the people there. We also have a lot of laughed and we had a very have fun made, the day to end. The chairs on the beach are super comfortable, with thick cushions and pillows. You will be an exactly dorthingestellt, where you just want to lie. The sea is beautifully flat and warm, like a bath tub. There is also a fresh water pool and a shower.

    The resort has a private beach, the around the hour guard (but very discreet, not disturbing). You must be in its things, the one to the beach bring along, not to worry. Options for shopping in diani beach abundant, although we only for the purchase from souvenirs to have used. The travel to the airport is about an hour and a half (depending on location on the ferry).
