Altogether a classic hotel in the old style. The best by far in this hotel is the japanese restaurant, first class. The traffic on the doorstep is a bit much, but with closed windows it goes well. Downside: there is no the swimming pool. read more

Wonderful hotel in the middle of Vienna city center.
The friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff seems in this hotel capitalized to be. Starting with the valet on the front desk to the Bartender. All were very friendly and accommodating.
The 'deluxe' rooms are very spacious, special requests were received gladly.
All together unconditionally recommendable. read more

We can recommend this hotel with good conscience recommend. The location is just great. The direct access to the ring-galleries and the short walk to the street (pedestrian zone) is Carinthia just perfect. Hotel Sacher (CAFE), Stefan Dom, Hofburg Imperial palace. Very well within walking distance. Shopping, food, etc. really great for a stroll. Small secret TIPP. Bräunerstr Ilonas parlour in the 2, food was great.
The hotel. Front desk, facilities, service, etc. was no reason to complain. Everything was of the highest quality, the champagne for breakfast or check-in and check-out. Everything worked without any problems and the staff ... was very friendly. Next year we will definitely be going back again, promised. read more

The hotel was an ideal accommodation for sightseeing and shopping. Also the viennese-style opera house is within walking distance. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. read more

I had the opportunity to again with my American friends a few days at the Grand hotel to spend. The front desk was always friendly as you perhaps also to the us already and you regulars counts for years now and knows. We were on our exclusive room (614) and the suite (601) and in all of the functions shown. Both in the empire style with Silk Wallpapers and ornate uber design. The room was 50m ² and the suite about 80. The bathroom and dressing room was definitely larger than the bedroom. Both with a nice balcony, unfortunately not ... usable as we had a snowstorm.
The service is in this house of the same Prof SiO formality explain how we know and appreciate it. The two restaurants in the house, a Japanese the other french have gotten in the new Gault Millau each two awards 2011 again. Very good is also the small sushi bar next to the reception down. Hotel the with the associated roads wind their way prove to be very convenient as we had a snowstorm and so almost dry to the opera house. The health club is still not very to be recommended, the club John Harris is however only ten minutes away from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at deep snowy very weihnachtlichem Vienna as always.
It is a new motto on the river, for the scene in Vienna excellent cuisine Slowfood me. The restaurant with bar hut near the hotel on the ring road is also at the Marriott weekend and late open, and for wine lovers is it a new wine and CO with restaurant until late in the night on the street mariahilferstraße. A visit is also the new Orlando di Castillo value cafe on the freyung with fine french patisserie. Is always worth a visit to the black Kameel Meinl am graben right next to the.
Here you will find also Meinls wine bar in the basement of the gourmet temple with many bottles of wine cellar with a small surcharge will be able to taste. Entrance Nagler Lane. read more

check in already we didn't feel welcome there. no one opens the door, that you have to take your luggage.
at the reception I got the form first of another guest. then the wrong room (superior instead of Deluxe). after much bantering back and forth and with the booked uppgrade!
the rooms are nice and well maintained, the technical equipment such as television and telephone but only partially serviceable. our friendly complaint was you put. after the motto. blabla.!
the room was forgotten on OLAF, the card for the business did not once.
the service in the grand coffee ... for breakfast of rude, very nice, the food and the choice for breakfast in the morning is perfect.
the food, as well as the service in Ciel but the purest disaster. lobster hummerbisque without. fennel dumplings die. dry lammgeschnetzteltes at PROTUR with potato pancakes with caraway surplus! Service was lousy. but not really unfriendly. smile even!
every entering and leaving the house is especially noticed, that the employees of the hotel at the entrance to the busy were among them to talk. thank you for the door, bags etc.
we have spent too much money for this hotel. next time we will stay at the Hotel Sacher go!
as hospitality has tradition! read more

Toddler with the Grand hotel? The is clear, if the staff were so friendly and serene, but still attentive and on a high level is acting like here. A spacious room and bathroom with all comfort beverage, several restaurants, great breakfast buffet. additional with a ' la carte service, a Glaserl verplüschte and champagne and the something with lots of marble and gold (or brass) at K. K. times and addressing the remaining wonder of the Grandhotel take part in. In addition to almost all attractions (opera house, Hofburg, Albertina, hall, etc. well), as well as the top shopping area ... in the immediate vicinity and within walking distance to. Oh yes, Felix austria Tu. read more
