Bad hotel that tries to rip you off

This hotel is very bad: Manager canceled the last 2 days of my 8 day reservation. BW reservations USA had to send several emails to set this right. I had noticed more people citing that the hotel tried to put them in a king room (1 bed) although they held reservations for two double beds. And the rooms are so tiny that they can not put a roll away bed in the room. The hotel pretends that your reservation was cancelled by you! I contacted Best Western reservations USA who could verify that the hotel manager had cancelled the last ... two days of my stay. I suspect that other reports by travellers of like problems had the same source: the hotel manager. Beware that the rooms are tiny, on each floor two rooms are even too small to enter the bathroom normally as you have to climb over one of the double beds to get into the bathroom. Basically this is no where near Best Western quality of management or rooms. STAY AWAY read more

    Tiny, or a little bigger, but only a little. some of the rooms (notably those ending on '2' on each floor) are so tiny that you have to climb over one of the double beds to enter the bathroom. It felt pretty claustrofobic to us.

    there is no restaurant. The breakfast room is basic, with very basic food. I did not like the pastries as they all tasted stale.

    The service pretty bad. 2 out of 8 days our room was not cleaned by the time we returned to the hotel: 4 PM. The cleaning staff has left the hotel by 4 PM so our rooms stayed as they were. Also I had 3 amazon packages send to this hotel. The smallest was never handed to me, even though I kept asking for it, and amazon noted it as delivered to the hotel 4 days before I checked out.

    the surroundings are not too bad. There is a tiny but well stocked supermarket right on top of the Nostrand Avenue Metro station, the name is Brava Supermarket. the meotroline A is an express line that brings you in two stops at Jay st/Metro Tech where you can change to the F metroline that will bring you more directly to the important streets in Manhattan. As the transfer to the F-line is on the same platform this is a very convenient transfer going into Manhattan, or returning from Manhattan. Further along the F-line there is the option to change to the B or D line by simply exiting the metro and waiting for that line to arrive at the same platform. Again very easy transfer.

The hotel itself the condition was immaculate, everything is new and you feel probably. Everything is clean and tidy, is included in the price a continental breakfast other food possibilities does not exist. The average age of the guests to our time was 30 to 40 years. read more

    The size of the room is good and absolutely sufficient... We had a deluxe room with King bed. The rooms are well equipped with air-conditioning, large flat- tv, microwave, small coffee machine, iron and- board, bathroom with hair dryer. The condition was new and clean. Only the towels were not regularly changed. In the room you can free of charge in a Wi-Fi- net of the hotel connect... With very good connection quality. Our room was on the street side and it was quite loud, in night as well! At regular intervals the tram over with stop directly in front of the hotel, and also the traffic was to be heard. We could however nevertheless sleep well, the bed is very comfortable.

    The hotel offers (in the price included) just a continental breakfast at. First it was a little scary, that everything with Einwegtellern, -cups and cutlery eat and drink. But that is in the United States probably none exception, but rather the rule.

    The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Could our luggage after the check out nor safe can let keep there. Our desired taxi to the airport we were organized and stood more than on time in front of the door. Only our room safe didn't work and even after the third complaint was still nobody about cared.

    Distance by subway to Manhattan about 30 minutes... Depending on where times stop me. Purchaseand entertainment possibilities in immediate surroundings of the hotel we didn't try it, as the area is not very inviting... At least for white. The proportion of afroamericans is estimated 95% and one has a slightly beklemmendes feeling, as white from the subway station to the hotel to go. One doesn't feel certainly-although definitely Nothing happened, so you ought to be afraid. One makes perhaps more than necessary, but with full shopping bag from famous Textilherstellern one doesn't feel really good and hopes, that this not to be taken. As mentioned, that was only our subjective feeling -happened absolutely nothing.

Hotel is new York proportions excellent. Passport Remote room size, new decor, clean, nice and courteous staff. Breakfast: oh yes. Good can be reached by metro. location is actually impossible. Noisy traffic Lirr Seem. Dark, dirty corner of Brooklyn. We have to fear not. read more
