Fantastic hotel for a city trip. The Glo is located in the middle of town right on the pulse. Very friendly staff, uncomplicated check in and check out, beautiful, modern room. Our deluxe -room was somewhat complicated, the there was very nice, laminate flooring also very nice, but you can hear, therefore every step from the underlying room. Showers included. From the construction work we received nothing. Bed is very soft, the is however rather subjective. Centrally located everything is within walking distance to make the is positive. The location of the hotel middle in the center is unsurpassed. Most sights lie in the immediate area to the hotel. The hotel is outdated. In the room (715) are several wear and tear visible, as parquet floors, walls, sofa, etc. Room more spacious and tastefully decorated. After a week Finland, we are then to Helsinki traveled to discover the town. The hotel is on a great location, nearby the many shops. She sights are all on foot easy to reach, or with the public transport links. We had a standard room booked, and it was modern, large, clean and cozy. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection, but when the cleanliness the tables it was a bit respecively... We were only one night there, a friend to visit, who live there. Since we sisters separate beds wanted, they gave us a room, which as disabled-rooms turned out (bathroom). This was exactly certainly, each other, the furnishings was very nice and modern. The window were to inner courtyard, unfortunately I could the air conditioning/ heating evenings never again park, which led, that the whole night ran and the noise window blind was disturbing. Your own fault, I would at reception can call. Otherwise everything was great and especially the laktosef -and without gluten breakfast. Delicious and huge choice. One ... is fast at the port for excursions or main station and all good/expensive bars, cafes nearby. Alcohol costs evenly more in the North. read more

Really beautiful hotel in the middle of the main shopping street of Helsinki. Restaurants, shops and sights in the nearby surrounding area. Room was huge with a large bathroom and separate toilet. We enjoyed the stay in the hotel Glo very. The service was very friendly and the breakfast is a really good start to the day. The rooms are large, clean and quite newly renovated-very modern and trendy designed, you after the somewhat dark, old-fashioned hallway wasn't't expected. Also the bathroom was in very good condition, but we had a handicapped accessible bathroom equipped and therefore not know, as the other bathrooms were. All promised details have voted: slippers, bathrobe, safe, water heater with cups, tv, and so on, we were very pleased, the Wellness landscape however, we have not used ..., therefore no rating possible. read more

As a part of a Helsinki-visit I 2 nights at Glo hotel Helsinki was impeccable. The building alone is somewhat older, most one recognizes that the long corridors with carpet, the a bit musty smell.
