On the way there everything worked, until 18 o'clock is the front desk ( small cafe next to the hotel) manned and we were still on time, otherwise would be the key for our room in a safe put.
When entering of the hotel we then had the musty odor in the nose. The musty odor was also in the room.
The furnishing was partially new.
The next morning the breakfast was a joke, already when entering the cafe's, I think it the boss himself was the only not say good morning or wanted greeted us with (what do you ... want) (of course breakfast we are guests).
A table was occupied, 4 tables were not cleared (they were at the time our breakfast also not cleared ( sad). The table of the not so bad appeared we ourselves done and some what the good man helped was, that he only the butter taken and we at least fresh coffee and tea got (a thanks to the manufacturer of the coffee machines).
The sausage was early in the morning, the eggs probably however blue cooked, the breads tasted sticky meat salad and herring salad not chilled open on the counter.
When we the last three of the rolls in the basket had eaten and were ready to go, he asked us, if we rolls want. ( it would then fresh been?).
We were about 30 minutes for breakfast and the man just twice saw, the coffee serving and the attempt the tables clearing. Cool saying to him ( 60 persons alone to operate it creates but if 4 tables at the same time, it will be difficult the tables clean. ) ( he said in the week?).
I / the hotel we can not recommended. Travel vocationally often in hotels on the way (three stars) but that was with distance the worst what I experienced.
We are on the same afternoon left, and we wanted a more night not more expect. When checking out a similar problem.
Question: what do you want.
Answer: we wish to leave and pay.
Question: that is bad, when you want to leave.
Answer: now we want to pay and leave.
Question: I have to first see.
Another service it has successfully that we pay could (she was nice)
It was not asked, if we were satisfied, whether we pleased, whether something is.
We thank nevertheless the hotel for his incompetence whilst dealing with guests.-) read more

We were for three days at the Nordsee and stayed in this hotel in tonning. We really liked it there. In the restaurant next door we got our key and were there welcomed in a friendly manner. Our room was big, bright and had a direct view to the historic port. The breakfast was very good and sufficient. Also the dinner we can recommend. In case we once again at the Nordsee are, then determines in this hotel:-) read more

Located directly at the picturesque harbor and with much love for the detail furnished... Large, bright rooms very in good taste and appropriately equipped... Only the bathrooms are a bit small, but very clean and functional...
Both the breakfast buffet, as well as the entire service far above the usual three star standard... Absolute and unqualified Recommendation...: o) read more

It was just great, there is such houses. The reservation on the phone was everything else than reserved, very nice and very friendly. Also on arrival was a very busy cafes a smile and a friendly deal honestly. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and we were in the cold temperature, you immediately felt very comfortable. No odor so frequent hotel, the small bathroom immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the furniture comfortable. The drink prices and the very well-kept remarkably good wine list. A menu, where everyone found something and an excellent ice cream. The included breakfast ... buffet was plentiful and again a service professional and unobtrusive but friendly.
The location was fantastically quiet and as a base for trips to Schleswig-Holstein more than ideal read more

last minute we decided to make a short trip to the North Sea. Over the internet we chose the hotel and then tel. Booked. Everything went smoothly. The hotel "guest house LEXOW" is really idyllically situated on a small but an historically fishing and marina. It consists of several adjoining former Fischer (? )-houses. Upon arrival we were given the choice if there was a room for the same price or an apartment wanted ( was probably available by chance). We both, we opted for the apartment. It was well equipped, complete kitchen, TV and radio. A quiet at night ... and you can start the next day and night's rest. The breakfast was good and sufficient. The staff was very friendly, attentive and courteous. There are many restaurants nearby, and you can go for a stroll. The outdoor swimming pool in the village of (5000 inhabitants) is within walking distance. You also have access to the Eider Baden, depending on water ( low/high tide) one could take a mud bath in the mud the Eider ( very appreciated by children). There are jetties and showers available to then to clean. A boat trip to the Eiderstauwerk past the Seehundbänken is also recommended (duration about 1.5 -2 hours) and within walking distance from the hotel. The Nationalparkzentrum MULTIMAR is also within walking distance and very interesting, even for children. Huge aquariums, the presentation of life in the Watt and interesting information can easily take advantage of half a day. Husum and St. Peter Ording are easily be reached by car. Also worth a visit is the Seehundstation Friedrichskoog ( Circa 45 km). That was our four days and we made were relaxed on the way home. Conclusion: Highly recommended! read more
