Hotel Milano^{(1 stars)}

Macapá is at the end of the world. Yawning boredom is the day when 38°-42° C and 95% humidity (in May, from October is it hot ). Hotel Milano ( Mittelklassenhotel) was good, rooms with A/C, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast and very clean, on the top floor a few balcony, no pool, no safety deposit box(= really not necessary)-run by a couple. Macapa is very small, everything is centrally located: the resort consists of only stores, streets- and fish markets, a few good restaurants and 2-3 unspectacular sights. Almost no tourism. Amazon boat rides and mangroves from ... the 20 kilometer South port santana possible, as well as a 2-day drive with the former iron ore railway in the rainforest. They speak only Portuguese. read more
