We came late evenings and had to for the first time in neighboring hotel Iberostar Playa de Palma, we were only upset but on the next day stood our room already at 10:00 o'clock available. We have a great room with a direct view of the sea and separate bedroom received. It was very clean and well cared for and us very well pleased. The breakfast was hearty and fresh and also to end of breakfast time still refilled. Very friendly staff. read more

Good thing is, that even in the low season the child care in cooperation with the two adjacent Iberostar hotels was offered. The distance to the beach is perfect and there are plenty of shops, as well as numerous restaurant in the immediate environment. The restaurants are also necessary, since the quality of the food in the hotel both for breakfast, as well as during dinner is totally inadequate. The offer for breakfast we found as impertinence and the dishes in the evening buffet were always overcooked. It was the buffet in the evening after an hour of a battlefield ... and the dessert selection was as good as no longer available. Unfortunately but perhaps it was in the low season. The quality corresponded in no way a four-star hotel and we used the good reviews in this forum be fooled. read more

It is a shabby old hotel. We had mold at the cover and the furniture and the fridge have their best years have long had. After the cleaning of the rooms it was unclean before, had then suddenly long hair on toilet and soils, because we but both short hair had. read more

The hotel is unfortunately getting very old and the entire interior was not up-to-date anymore. The value for money was not correct here. After we in the august 2011 still positively surprised were, what the food is concerned, we must seize the pluses after our 2. and last stay here, leave. The food evening was bland, not diverse the background noise in the dining room with noisy kids and überfordertem staff just annoying. The was good. Wi-fi for free in good hotels these days the service, the high charges required. The clairaudience within the room and especially in the hallways ... was for us with a huge negative. Sleep in on vacation is here unfortunately not possible. The two stays here were really no cheap holidays and for the price we will next time a more modern hotel with better comfort and food, a pity. read more

    Room size ok, furniture also. Our friend had an apartment, in the the furnishing still from the 70. years comes. I missed a coffee dte possibility of preparation. Room very badly soundproofed and it was missing a 2. door to the hallway. Sleep in in the morning unfortunately not possible.

The size of the rooms enough for minutes 4 persons. Also the complex with the pool and bar by the pool are absolutely brilliant. Everything was absolutely clean and the staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Furthermore you could very good both in English, as well as on German inform you. The entertainment was very diverse and there was something there for everyone. The food was also more than enough and always fresh and abundant. The gästespecktrum was mostly from the German respectively benelux sprauchigen room. read more

    The beach was right in front of the door exactly like numerous shops. Also a bus stop is right in front of the door. Relevant partystätten it was about 15 minutes hike.

We booked through Neckermann Reisen a family room with a view of the sea booked. Our room was size wise comparable with a junior suite and very spacious and larger than we had expected. Because we in the late season booked was the audience rather older and young families with children. The bedroom was separate and had also still place for a extra bed. The rooms were very clean and were every day well cleaned. One notices however already, that the hotel some years old The rooms are badly soundproofed and some details like an old crt tv could be ... improved. The food was for the 5 days we here were very varied and tasted us. read more

    Wi-fi there was for 20€ the week. On the tv ran pretty much all German program - even Bayern 3. Animation there was, but we didn't use it. The prices for chairs and umbrellas at the beach we found very high, that is why we have mats and a umbrella bought. By the pool there are towels free of charge. Must pay however per towel a deposit of 10 €be paid in cash-hi where we live. The same in the remaining for the safe. The cost of money and barkaution. There should be one more trust in the guests have, particularly one at the bar and in the restaurant everything to the room write.

    One is very fast by bus in Palma ( bus station direct opposite the hotel). The beach is very beautiful and was while we were there very empty. In 10 minutes walk from the Ballermann and that's why each variety offered if one it to have would like. Who peace and high standards were looking for is in the wrong place.

Somewhat older hotel with good service. Food varied with spanish influence. Wines in the restaurant good and affordable (average etwa 15,00 Euro). Drinks at the bar a bit exaggerated high. Beach chairs were in sufficient quantity available. read more

Excellent hotel, the apartment with extra bedroom was perfect for us ( 2 adults, 1 small child, 18 months). A kettle would have been nice, the 2 burners have but also their service done. The view of the pool and beyond the sea was great. Our son was also always completely from the small house. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was perfect, fried eggs and omelets were always right freshly prepared. Evenings was also always something there for everyone, included children's buffet with fries, nuggets... The beach with promenade simply nicer. We would book again. read more

Great position right on the beach - only separated by the promenade. topgepfleger great beach, everything very clean. Very versatile and delicious kitchen, even on wishes is received. We had at short notice the Iberostar Christina booked, but on arrival (may be because of overbooking or more efficient occupied) friendly asked, to the Iberostar Playa de Palma to pull. The was very easy, fast and uncomplicated from and was in 1 minute done quickly. Us it was no matter, which the 3 Iberostar-houses in the place it should be. So just a few steps after next door and finished. The hotel made altogether a very good impression. Everything was clean, well kept and visually appealing. There is normal room as well as apartments. All of the units, with ... sea- or at least pool view to be. Several times, we had reviews read, the building is ageing and so on!? Hmm, can we somehow not confirm. At least our apartment looked, as if it was before not too long time was renovated, or at least refreshed have been. Small comparison: we have amongst others also in the hotel Negresco at the Playa stayed in. That was old fashioned! The audience was mixed ( German, English, dutch, swiss, russians, spanish), as well as the average age ( of families with children to retirees). Everything was very discreet and pleasant. The present children are not annoyed. Unfortunately: as beautiful as it is altogether also, but the zimmerdirektpreise are unfortunately quite steep. read more

    We had an apartment on the 1st floor, directly over the dining room. From the hall, one amazing way absolutely nothing belongs, no way rückende chairs or geschirrgeklappere... The room was in the living and sleeping area divided and accordingly large. In the living area there is also a kitchenette with stove, sink, fridge ( on request with minibarfüllung ) and so on, but it was not used. Otherwise the 2 sofas and bed for 2 persons be used. The sleeping area is the etagengang back. Keep in mind, that with public traffic night/morning was a bit noisy, were completely dispelled. The bathroom had it purely nothing at all to complain about. The balcony offers pool- & lateral view of the sea. The condition of the apartments was great. There was neither a bit broken, still filthy or similar! 2 small negatives must nevertheless will be assigned: The beds have, as in many other hotels also, still no slatted frame, so it is with springy felt a bit too hard. The tv is really a case for the recyclinghof! Such a boring röhrending with such poor senderqualität is absolutely not, also, if we are not to watch tv on vacation go.

    Restaurant: Beautiful restaurant. Tables are not to close, there were always free seats, no dinner in shifts. Alternatively can outside fed. Service: Very friendly service. Table-ware used is permanently and discreet cleared. Meals are also later hour again and again refilled and presentable presented. Since see not as battlefield. Food: We booked half board and we should not regret it - the food was great! Very good selection and high quality of the dishes. During dinner there is a topauswahl to meat & fish, vegetables-& ready-to-serve salads, side dishes, children's buffet, kaltbüfett, pizza, pasta, Paella, antipasti, cakes/ desserts & ice and so on! Furthermore once again extra live for every guest changing dishes & meals cooked/sputtered. The breakfast fell not less good. Everything as, that you need and not. Coffee was immediately brought to the table. Eggs, omelets, crepes, bacon and so on one can freshly prepared. Pool bar: Didn't use it.

    Front desk: We were very warmly welcomed, the check in/ check-out went quickly and all questions were always friendly answered. Cleaning staff: The rooms were pristine clean, as well as the balcony velvet furniture. The cleaning lady thanked even friendly and personally for the small tip, the mandatory always leave out. Restaurant staff: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. No matter wether cook or waiter - very fit, dedicated, attentive and friendly. Language: German spoken, although not everywhere fluent. English knowledge well. Management of complaints: Not taken into account. Other: Would be desirable in 2012 and in times of smartphone & tray free wi-fi. As well as a free use the safety deposit boxes (circa 15 e/ week). If interested-clothes can one if necessary from the hotel wash leave, the prices this appeared but to high.

    Outside area: The space available in the outdoor area for vorortverhältnisse quite good. The stretches of the most other hotels seem small. Pool: The pool is big enough. Sufficient space for swimming ( in September), nevertheless child-friendly laid out. No corners/edges/ pitfalls, everything complete and altogether very well maintained. Pool towels were available free of charge at the front desk. Outdoor showers are available. Loungers: The stable loungers made a good impression. There were always enough chairs & umbrella available, of morning book you didn't even notice it. In case to the high season but times the loungers out, but would still countless rattan seat by the pool available. Sports/ animation child care/ pool bar: Available, but not used. Indoor swimming pool: Available, but not used.

    We had at short notice the Iberostar Christina booked, but on arrival (may be because of overbooking or more efficient occupied) friendly asked, to the Iberostar Playa de Palma to pull. The was very easy, fast and uncomplicated from and was in 1 minute done quickly. Us it was no matter, which the 3 Iberostar-houses in the place it should be. So just a few steps after next door and finished. The hotel made altogether a very good impression. Everything was clean, well kept and visually appealing. There is normal room as well as apartments. All of the units, with sea- or at least pool view to be. Several times, we had reviews read, the building is ageing and so on!? Hmm, can we somehow not confirm. At least our apartment looked, as if it was before not too long time was renovated, or at least refreshed have been. Small comparison: we have amongst others also in the hotel Negresco at the Playa stayed in. That was old fashioned! The audience was mixed ( German, English, dutch, swiss, russians, spanish), as well as the average age ( of families with children to retirees). Everything was very discreet and pleasant. The present children are not annoyed. Unfortunately: as beautiful as it is altogether also, but the zimmerdirektpreise are unfortunately quite steep.

    The location at the Playa de Palma for us personally a the best ( height Ballermann). Further in front at the beach/ promenade is there are probably hardly. The relevant party location after a few minutes walk easy to reach. Restaurants, cafes, shops, bus stops and so on are known to be anyway in droves in unmittelbarster environment. In spite of the reasonable location and the lots of tourists it went (1st week of September) in things volume quiet (planes hear no). From the much reviled partytourismus you got on the/before the/behind/ next to the hotel directly nothing at all with. Some parking spaces there are right on the hotel, just a few meters away is a larger parking at the sister hotel available. Access to the beach respectively to the promenade there was direct of the pool deck from.

We were just a week end of September/ beginning of October in the hotel. The apartments are the layout and the decor was dated - the location of the hotel right next to the sea however good. For the food we have the fresh the salads and also the quality the freshly prepared meat- and fish dishes missed. The service also at the front desk was very businesslike and little customer friendly. There were also locally by Bucher-travel no care. read more

We had the neighboring hotel Royal Cristina booked, but we were asked, whether we do not a room with sea view in the Pl. San Lorenzo want. As US all inclusive instead of half board was offered we accepted. For lunch we had to however to the Royal Cristina go, because in the royal Playa no all inclusive ( lunch) was. Thus we came into the benefit of 2 hotel kitchens to test, and we were both satisfied. Also otherwise could the Roompot Beach Resort with its proximity to the beach, its great view of Playa, and its proximity to ... party convince. read more

To 5. time in the hotel - everything great! Unfortunately the hotel is to 80% of Dutch guests occupied, which mostly in the restaurant over several tables loudly-this is then nevertheless very annoying for the food - if all would. Decency you or not. A small repair our safe we did not have 5 minutes wait, partly very friendly reception staff ( thank you Marga:-) ) and in the restaurant. It would be great if you are in the apartments the Fench windows so screens could not already at sunrise wake up, also we think that with the prices ... of the hotel the safe included could be. Apart from that a top hotel in a great location - we are already looking forward to our sixth vacation in Royal Playa de Palma! read more

We needed before our cruise a hotel for 4 nights on Mallorca, not too far from port and our choice fell on this hotel. It was a good choice. The hotel is so popular, that the regular guests already 1 year advance. With a little fight we got a wonderful apartment with panoramic views, couldn't be better.     Our apartment was fantastic. The bedroom with sky lights is A bit hard to get used to, but we were there only for sleeping. The windows go however to korridorseite and some had problem by geräuschbelesstägung. When we went there Unfortunately there was a coffee machine, kettle or a pot. What is the kitchen, if you don't time tea or coffee making facilities.

    In the gastronomy we were a bit disappointed. We got Mornings fresh juice and milkshakes, also the kinds of bread were very delicious. But very long queues at eierstand and every morning the same sausage and cheese. The seats outside were very slightly. Evenings were times tasty dishes, times only fabrikware, as squeezed fish- and hänchenscheiben, and hardly fish or spanish specialties. Fruit unfortunately only immature, although wide choice. But unfortunately never Paella, serano ham or something like that. Good salads, every day a roast and otherwise quite wide selection of vegetables and always ice. Therefor the food was Not bad, but not so good, as in other Mallorca markenhotels. We spend the cruise 2 days in the opposite Iberostar Cristina and the food was a lot better. We are for example by delay from D. At o'clock the royal arrived. A minibüfett for the spätgäste set up. Only something cold cuts, couple lettuce, cheese slices, toast and yoghurt. Not even fruit. Air conditioning turned off, a small bottle of water without opener and in the room the mini bar complete. The at 34 degrees at night. We found the very spärig for our paid half board. Besides that in other hotels we got in such a case cold chickens or roasts, salads, rolls, melons, and so on but unfortunately not in this hotel. I found the unfortunately!

    With us everything very well. At the front desk quite good willingness to help, the reinmacherfrau was very nice and considerate. We had no reason for complaints. However this refers to only 4 days, what we spent there.

    In addition I can say little, only the pool is unfortunately too small and if games took place, you can not at all swim. We swim however only in the sea. Loungers are enough available, you will be on the best seats already early in the morning occupied. As the beach chairs with umbrella cost For 2 person 15 Euro! Animation was very good and discreet. Great shops in the Proximity.

    The location is unique nice. The hotel is on Ballermann and only by the promenade from the beautiful sandy beach separately. The are Only a couple of steps. However the beach in the first septembertagen was so unbelievably full, that we at o'clock no chairs more got. At the beach unfortunately no toilets, only in the balneario imbissrestaurant a only toilet, but guests should be, in order to the toilet to use. Or you have to the hotel go back.

Hotel on arrival overbooked. First night in another hotel, 150 meters away put up. However, triple room rather than apartment (as booked). In this room was the air conditioning defect. Plenty of water from the ceiling. From the 2. day (in the booked hotel) then began the vacation. read more
