Overall you should expect for the price more than is offered. Apparently focuses the hotel mainly on the gastronomical area and neglected by other areas. Under a 4 star gourmet hotel i personally understand something else - the food was average, not exceptional and above all not that special something-which the half board promises. The service in the gastronomy area was limited to very fast, the individual courses-without corresponding verdauungspausen to be respected. The Landhaus St. Georg is a real gem. Full of genuine friendliness of all the employees always warm treatment, you can tell as they try individually to every guest turn. The rooms are extremely attractive and lovingly decorated, the spa not huge, but prettily and style-genuinly attentive equipped-if you are going to the course in one of the saunas not under the cold shower to even the possibility a on the ceiling a fastened bucket with cold water beschütten to leave. It was a great vacation the landhotel St. Georg: the food was very good, the room (in the old building) ok, the staff was very hard-working, also the pool and the sauna was okay (although both not very large). The smallness of the hotel a familiar climate, giant hotel have reversed a little more to offer. The hotel we can heartily recommend, especially the dinner was excellent. Individual details are still to improve (for example no ventilation in the bathroom ), the building but lfd. Improved. read more

It is a very nice, small hotel in a peaceful area. All of the staff (particularly the boss ) is very friendly and helpful. And the food is a foodie food (so no fries and escalope) with a hood in guide Gault-Millau was excellent. The level from the hauser kaibling mountain is approximately 10 minutes out. But there is also lots of cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths in the nearby from the hotel. Very recommendable! read more

This is a very pleasant small hotel with a warm atmosphere. Food was exelent and they have a suprising choice of selected Austrian and Slovenian wines (both owners are sommeliers). It is in vicinity of the ski slopes of Haus and Schladming, so you have a good choice.

The friendliness of the owner couple as a guest and of the staff, as well as the whole atmosphere in the house were unique. The dinner in the half board was dreamlike and really a haubenkochs worthy. Alone it's worth in this house to stay overnight. The small number of the room allows owners to every guest individually and him with advice and act to the side to stand. The Landhaus St. Georg like the first moment. Comfortable even homey restaurant with private fireplace room and private breakfast area.
Unfortunately was the pool in the first two days of our stay not usable, what the host no syllabics of regret or even a reduction in price was worth it. The spa area loads due to its rather gloomy atmosphere not to stay a while.
During dinner (5 course) if you like a piano music than adequate experience, however the volume of the same would be to diminish, not disturbing to be found. Also you should not on two evenings ... in a row the same cd playing. read more
