The hotel is relatively big and is in two hauptwohnkomplexe, as well as smaller bungalows divided.
The bungalows are in the back part the hotel in the middle of a very nice designed gardens with greek sculptures, as well as additional pools. The guests come to 90% from the USA and Canada. There in this hotel no children are allowed, it is especially peaceful and you will find almost exclusively couple in all age groups, which have a special anniversary or honeymoon spend. The americans really really good behaved, us nothing negative were noticeable. The hotel is only with all ... inclusive offered, on which i later. The cleanliness the public attachments, as well as the room was excellent, as well as the service in all areas. read more

The hotel was redone within the last year renovated and it shows. The rooms are a dream, we stayed in the category 'Windsor Grande Luxe ocean view Concierge room'. The 'concierge' was added worth, the minibar was daily filled, so there was always plenty drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)! The staff were friendly and very attentive.
the selection of restaurants is huge, meal times and drinks were great.
My partner and I are extremely happy active on vacation, therefore, is always a good sandals solution. Whether diving, snorkeling or windsurfing, it is all-inclusive.
we are after our stay in Nassau flew ... out to the islands. I can absolutely recommend, the Bahamas is a dream!
the hotel I can only recommend. read more

big disappointment, not for European expectations

Who on the sandals web site pays, the a absolute great vacatioin promised. Phrases such as' luxury included 'and' vacation of your lifetime' meet one at every point. And the prices mirrors this promised against, for a week you pay, depending on travel time, several thousand euros. All the worse was our disappointment on arrival. The complex is old and shabby, in many places unclean. The fastidious European Travelers, at 4a 5 star standard our Continent used to is, is not here be comfortable. Price and performance do not go together. The claims, which sandals on market positioned, is at ... best a 3-STAR product opposite. Luxury in vain, as well as attentive service and excellent food and drinks. The majority of the guests are young Americans (often in their honeymoon), only a few Europeans. During our stay we met still 2 European couples know, the same impressions had, as we. My fiancé and I, are both in the tourism industry active and have travelled a lot. Sandals royal Bahamian was by far the worst 5-starexperience, we have ever made. Many simple roadside hotels in the United States have a similar standard to a significantly lower price. read more

Exclusivity with small drawbacks

The hotel with its CIRCA 400 rooms radiated field with arrival a touch of exclusivity from. Board begins with, that you'have already at the airport from Nassau by hotel staff in a built pavilion is received. You took care of the luggage and smooth transfer.
The entire area makes a very clean impression, although because of hurricane damage considerable Baurbeiten on a building necessary, the hotel business however hardly impaired.
The staff were too many friendly and accommodating, in our opinion voted however the Restaurantkonzept ('they are places!') not with the guest appearance match, so that almost constantly waiting times ... before the meal times developed. 95% of the guests were Americans, 4.99% English and guests from other English-speaking countries, my Frauund I were the only German guests. The average age in my view was around 50 years. He not higher was, was the fact, that some younger American couples (honeymoon) under the guests and there is a 'child-free' complex acts.
As far as I can see, is the entire area barrier and thus also for humans with handicap- wheelchair users quite suitable.
You should at least mittelklassisch speak English, except for the guide from TUI, the only once in the hotel was to be seen, one speaks German. read more

If someone is looking for holidays with 90% Americans right here.
Room with the quality of cheap motel rooms, which probably since 20
Years also available are not more have been renovated.
Simple restaurants, buffet without large selection, rather for Americans thought with desire on hamburgers etc.
The luxury of a missing Fünfsternehotels us completely. (3 star)
Grounds amazing, beach perfect (except for a few shady
Umbrellas) read more

The best honeymoon archived

We just returned from our honeymoon at the sandals Royal Bahamian.
Clearly, sandals is not very cheap, but the something more expensive room has excellent concierge.
Very spacious and stylishly furnished with mahogany furniture. We had a large balcony with a fantastic view on the sea. From here we could look good on the small offshore island also, the part of the hotel. We were very often there, to simply only to relax.
The hotel has fallen us also very good and the food was very tasty in the restaurants. Although also dives for all inclusive offer include, we had ... no desire.
Our conclusion: a great hotel with surprisingly large and luxurious suites. Spend something more worth it in any case! read more

First of all: the combination diving, no kids and all inclusive is so unique (our info to). This combination to 100% with our interests, however, we now try all Sandels by ☺
The Royal Bahamian is our number one!
The general language is english, so obviously Ensglischkenntnisse are a must.
Location: about 15 minutes in Nassau away from the airport, located on cable beach has a small island and still in about 800m away. Shuttle ferries all hour from ten 21:00. The planes disturb not really fly. With the bus one comes to Nassau (1.25 $, 15 minutes-about ... all) but it is worth it definitely not.
Room: we were in the older Manor (# 216) building. (Standard) room the are all sandals same: two chairs, table, a king size bed with typical AMI-mattress. Royal Bahamian comes a 37' plasma and a mini bar with all kinds of stuff (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The bathrooms are small but with all you need. Bathtub with shower, sink, toilet (AMI-model with typical cutting paper), hair dryer. All (quiet) air conditioning always on the left, a light was Muffy smell in the room-after two days on is however the window away.
Is cleaned each day-but to different times. Towels were changed, if on the floor, otherwise not. There is however on a sign. The not disturb sign is respected. Bathroom is generally clean, sand is something longer-Caribbean setting just. The resort itself is also clean.
Food: eight restaurants and one on the island. For us the food was completely OK. Recommendation: Chrystal room. Pizza on the beach during the day! The first praised BACC (only on reservation in advance) is nice, offers but the food nothing special. Buffet is OK, varied and beautiful. PS: the boss is an Austrian cuisine. Cocktails/drinks as much as you can eat. Coke/water/diet Coke. as well. The whole 24 hours available. Take wide and/or stretchable things with!
Beach: on the left from the pier: public beach-you can tell but not, because as good as no local surface. Turn right from the pier private. On the island it is two beaches. Umbrellas/trees were now in the off season enough available. two huge pools and a few smaller, if you like the sea not. Chlorinated, of course.
Diving: certified for two dives, otherwise a. The sites are quite the variety in the Caribbean. Nowhere otherwise so it is a wreck density! The guides are very carefully. The rates are very cheap to D ($course!) the AOWD costs 300 $.
All in all, a very friendly and eager staff. Typical Caribbean: for everything, except for what is standard, one of the managers needed, as is the normal staff overstrained. But if you know. the Americans were bearable, but not very communicative as usual on the sizes loud. More British than in other sandals. Hardly any other Europeans. read more

Some other previous reviews had voted us something thoughtfully. However the found was in a positive way fully convincing. It is simply nothing to bemeckern. The area, the service, the staff and the accommodation were all our expectations. The support given by the TUI-employee was great, also the note deployment for excursions very meaty and charming. read more
