We have after a busy below average the paradise for a relaxed beach holiday found. The bo phut -beach is a little quieter than the (in our opinion) completely overcrowded Chaweng Beach. At the beach there is only single-breasted (!) Sun loungers, so a totally relaxed atmosphere neglected. Altogether there were only 61 rooms and villas, the audience was mixed (age and nationalities) and very pleasant. The sand is somewhat coarser than the Chaweng Beach, but very nice and the sea clean and always suitable for swimming.
We only booked with breakfast. read more

This resort is not a normal hotel, but a bungalow area first rank with very comfortable rooms. It was very quiet and the service is ertsklassig. Here you can really relax. We believe this hotel for the best in bophut. Only complaint : the food is expensive. But the village ' fischermanns village' with lots of shops and restaurants is within walking distance. Great hotel located directly at the beach. Especially couple, little families. Complex very clean and very friendly staff. Complex and guests very quiet, good for relaxation suitable. My written (with award of max. Points) is already everything in detail and carefully described, so I am being 'short', and go on just a few details a, otherwise I would still time repeat, but this absolutely positive reviews I agree with.
Complaints in this hotel are in my opinion incomprehensible ( people the something to complain about have, life probably otherwise in a palace, as we even noticed, put some important, by obtrusive complaint in a better category and various perks like free dinner to come, really sad, if you need ).
My husband and I were with friends ... and full of praise, for all furnishings and offers of the hotel we can unanimously the highest review deliver.
We will be back!
To mention I would like still the punctual private transfer with well maintained new cars, we also have the from the hotel offered free trip taken into account.
Wheelchair users I don't have seen, but could have been certainly not problem, a barrier to move, the rooms, like also bath/ shower and toilet were very big.
A few times we ate outside, but were usually in the hotel for dinner and during the final account pleasantly surprised!
The German chef Martin K. (chef de cousin) was sharpened, it also has all the extra wishes, not on the menu were to our fullest satisfaction prepared, we had except for Thai food did want a pizza, a better ( Italian stone oven) I have hardly before eaten, in the restaurant Salathai on the lotusblütenteich we have several times very well eaten, in pleasant music, by a Thai artist on a chopping board in the middle on the jetty of the pond consummate was celebrated.
On the live music in the evening at the main restaurant (, although discreet, but unfortunately with colorful Spots) I would do.
The lady at the reception was in all of our questions very competent and extremely friendly and helpful.
A poorly functioning shower head was promptly changed, just as as an example, apart from that we had nothing, what to change would have been.
For the rough sandy beach ( therefore also very hot ), the hotel can't, at the hotel area it was always clean.
The complex was in a wonderful botanical jungle embedded.

I understand the negative reviews not this hotel was the best since a long time we have stayed at lots of places on this world but DS Bo phut was absolutely great. Service and friendliness top everything was immediately dealt with. Breakfast it had everything from the salmon to Thai food. The best beach chairs, editions, pillows we have ever had. Unfortunately, the sea cloudy and this is the only point we criticize. With children I would the hotel do not take. We will be back. Many thanks to the staff. read more

Always me all the comforts, wonderful bathroom, very big with access to the pool. Very friendly staff the even evenings before departure again we called, if we have a transfer or if you a get to. We have 15 days in this resort and were completely contented. The restaurants have a very high quality food and drinks ( almost European price).
Despite statements other reviewer we found the pool as clean and tidy.
Nevertheless should such a review always include that you on an island is all a long to get around to arrive there.
In general is the complex the resorts very beautifully built and nice to look at. You feel from the start probably.
The employees the resorts are immediately to the place if one a problem or something is not working, it will ... immediately to any matter cared.

Very clean complex in a well-kept garden. Large air-conditioned bungalows. Incredibly friendly and courteous and not intrusive staff, from the service to the gardener!
The cuisine is magnificent, however one receives a comparable quality at a significantly lower price in the fisherman's village, 10 minutes, away.

This hotel really belonged in the leading group of the hotels on KOH Samui. Unobtrusive the building almost in a tropical jungle. The main building is pleasant in the pagodas style and watercourses completely full. The rooms beach chairs in a large garden, the almost a rainforest and watercourses and ponds paths will. Our room was very generously built, the bathroom almost a work of art. The cleanliness was barely to increase. The terrace from a pond limited, the during the day as fountain circulated was. The couches each had a umbrella and the from the staff anytime again moved. On such good Liegenpolstern I was never. The beach is relatively coarse-grained and not the large force. He is however clean and gated. Snorkelers should be based on the small islands. A wedding we could. But not disturbing the other guests results. The Politeness, friendliness and zuvorkommenheit of the staff is hard to beat-as in completely Thaïlande -. Internet area is available but, as the spa area, not used by us, since we were often away. For the purchase of souvenirs is nathon optimal.

The entire area is rather small and cozy. It is lush tropical and very lavish well-kept plants provided. The breakfast is very extensive ( freshly prepared egg dishes and roasted Noodles, crepes, pancakes, different kinds of bread, fruit, juices, thai cuisine. ). The food in the restaurants is good. Reachable on foot one is fast in the Fishermanns village, where you enough good restaurants finds. In the immediate area is a small supermarket and a pharmacy. We had a Gardenvilla and were very satisfied with the size and decor. There were free of charge daily water and fruits. A so ... good room service ( cleaning, tidying up, morning blinds high, evenings down and perfume lamp for your comfort and slippers in front of the bed together, daily newspaper, etc.) we had not been in any vacation. We would and will stay here again vacation in this complex make. read more

In April 2011 spent we have our vacation in this hotel, we were the more surprised what within a year everything changed had. Positive as negative. Right at the beginning we realized, the German speaking employee Conny wasn't there anymore. It was for several people a problem to at the front desk to communicate the insufficient had good English skills. The pool area was completely renovated, really very nice. In our deluxe bungalows there were no change, although the bathroom a redevelopment urgently needed. Also the cleanliness in the bungalow has strongly neglected, for example, in 3 weeks not once ... the bathroom cleaned, but only water placed and fresh towels hereingehängt mood. The bed was only fish linen if you a Hinweissschild on the bed put. A great shame, but it was much less staff as as last year. Also for breakfast this always more than enough and was good, was at staff saved, so had for example the beach boy also the tables clearing. Also its coffee had one in comparison to last year yourself. The staff are in this hotel very helpful, but understaffed in some areas. The beach very clean and tidy. The massages by the pool and at the beach are very recommendable. Friday you should market in Fishermann not to be missed. Great food good service of course in Joachim' s beer garden. ( out of the hotel then left about 300 meters. Pizzeria Jasmin and kingfisher are also very recommendable( from the hotel right 150 meters and 500 meters. ) if you excursions or rent a scooter you're in Neo right, makes great price and gives intact scooter, money shift better for him, and in the hotel. Neo is shortly before the kingfisher. We come in any case sometime to this hotel again in the hope, that until then only positively changed. read more
