Our stay in the Grand Hotel was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and absolutely for our welfare. The building alone is very clean and nice-was only 2009 opened. The food - massive breakfast buffet and five course menu in the evening - left nothing to be desired. I know really not, what I of this house negative rate... We were 2 nights in the Grand Hotel and it was beautiful. When we wanted to check-in one has us a larger room offered ( for the same price). The food was very good and the staff very concerned. The spa area was comfortable and the water pleasant. It was a lovely stay and we can only recommend it! read more

For 3 years our favorite hotel. We will always come in September for one week and enjoy the peace and quiet and the luxury. Otherwise is Lienz a wonderful mediterranean city and definitely worth a trip. With the Osttirolcard (the available for purchase is) you can varied leisure offers the region. Tours in South Tyrol, for example the three pinnacles, are easily accessible. Should the weather not with games, then you could use the great wellness area in the hotel. A great hotel, ideally located in the center of Lienz and nevertheless extremely quiet. Great big room with all the comforts, great service in the restaurant ( or on the beautiful terrace), just the best hotel in Lienz. read more

    The state of the rooms, as well as the size and the cleanliness there is nothing to complain about. Only the tv was a bit small and too far from the bed away.

    The breakfast is very extensive. There is freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, scrambled egg and omelets to order prepared. All together it wasn't missing anything. The kitchen is at all a definite insider tip and not free with 2 gourmethauben excellent. The 5-course-dinner menu is very diverse and really recommendable. And with 35 Euro per person very good value for money.

    The sauna area is very generous. There are plenty of additional beach towels available. Furthermore can the guests free of charge at the drinks bar ( juices, water, tea) and the fruit served. The indoor and outdoor swimming pool are sufficiently heated. A jacuzzi is available in the outdoor swimming pool available. Unfortunately there is no extra hot tub, the water is warmer. Furthermore are not massaging jets available.
