During my tour of Rajasthan spent I two nights in this hotel the Pichola -lake. For our group were standard room, mainly on the ground floor booked, which to me in facilities and views not agree we could bargain down. For an upgrade of 1500 $/ day, I got a wonderful room with a view of the city palace and lake Pichola, which stay much more pleasant made. The 26 rooms is built around a opened inner courtyard on three floors. My corner room on the third floor had a large king bed, lots of windows with a beautiful view ..., tv, air conditioning, mini bar and small bathroom. The breakfast was very basic, but almost no service in the fourth floor, next to the roof terrace. We had a good dinner with poor service and poor English skills of the staff, but the wonderful view of the illuminated town made it almost makes up for it. The hotel seems to be under renovation or just a renovation necessary to have on the ground floor. There is a big mosquito problem. The pool was unusable. Wiki on the ground floor, free, but not always possible use, or you have to ask several times. read more

I was on a Rajasthan-tour two nights in this hotel. It is in a great, quiet location to the old part of town, was located close to the Pichola-Lake. The hotel has a bit of stylish romantic, where you can delight not enough. And then the rooftop restaurant with views of the city, the sea and the opposite fort, a treat! The rooms are, as this type of hotel experience, of varying size, from small double room to a great suite! Stylishly equipped, clean! What I noticed repeated pleasant, the notedly friendliness and willingness to help of the staff (in ... India not always of course!), and early in the morning the rooms were cleaned efficient. restaurant on the roof terrace with great view of the lake and the city.
the souvenir shop only a few Minute walk.
