Letdown despite foundation product test

Without prior announcement the november started, the hotel einzumotten. Service found only on lowest level instead. Pool was emptied, beach bar was closed. Cleaning the pool- and beach furniture had priority. Essraum was about 10 days long't even swept once. Room service was at the same time in the late afternoon taken care of.
Although booked all inclusive and paid, was no buffet offered. Mornings, a very clear einheitsteller -worse than in every youth hostel. Lunch and dinner 'a la card' looked in such a way, that a lukewarm court served the always something different looked but just bland tasted. ...
After the dinner was sometimes also a waiter to see. Mostly we itself by a lateral hole behind the very dirty counter crawled and our beer or wine tapped yourself.
From allen plugholes in the bathroom it smelled of feces. Apparently because, that only few guests in the hotel and therefore the plumbing not sufficiently been washed. We would have liked, one of the testers to achieve, on the good to very good assessment we were at the choice of the hotel left. Because of a reduction of the total booking, we will with 5 vor flug expected judicial set apart. read more

Food was not so recommendable, took a lot of repeats. Pool bar the Plastics cups not very clean or half way with quite sharp knew at the edge. There is the cleanliness still a lot to be desired. Apart from that the hotel has with us a positive impression behind. read more

The people make it worth it good, we had to make our own beds everyday, the cleaning lady just left the blankets on our beds, the shower would go from extremely hot to ice cold without touching it every 2 minutes or so it didn't mather if you showered in the morning, afternoon, evening or middle of the night and we weren't the only ones with this problem, even though it was low season it would be very hard to find a place to sit at dinner and we had a room on the 5th floor it happened more than ... once that the elevator was out of service. On the other hand the hotel was really clean, you get new towels daily, the people are extremely nice and will do anything to make your stay more pleasant, we'd rather go to the beach which is a 5 minute walk because at the pool you need to switch places during the day in order to stay in the sun. But it is a nice hotel, plenty of things to do in Oba and all people are very helpful. And I want to give special thanks to Arif, we had a great laugh together! And also to Ali, he worked really hard in the restaurant in order to clean tables as soon as other guests were finished dining! It was a great holiday and I will surely go back! read more

it was a great stay, perfect to stay between sept and may. its a small hotel.
a perfect clean and safe hotel with a really nice hammam arrangement,
a good start for the vacation !
the food was ssoo nice and you can find some shops and restaurants on the corner.
the bus stops at the boulevard 2 min walk to the center its 7 min .
the beach is beautiful with a private area you can have drinks at the beach bar with a view at the castle.

Hotel in location newly renovated, very small room however in good condition, bath too small, lift only for two people, was very often broken. Good food, shops very good, beach ok. Very steep, child care good. Due to the location missing a beautiful green outdoor area. For vacationers older generation not really suitable, since every evening until 0:00 o'clock all around the 'post' goes on, before midnight was sleep only for hartgeseottene possible. Housekeeping staff was a bit overburdened. Cleaning the room at least with us in the 5th floor only 5:00 P. M. if you come from ... the beach and want to take a shower. In the morning the hotel lobby fully dirty table-ware of the previous night, old newspapers etc. Since we 6:00 A. M. again fetched in the morning were we had a lunch box with bread -cheese- and cold meats and sealed butter however without cutlery and clean mugs for the departing guests were not provided, so see as a replacement serve. read more

Very good anbindugn to the center (about 3 kilometer, 10 minutes ), every 6 minutes goes a bus for 1 €per ride. Taxi circa 10 Euro. Autovermieteung, quad/jeep tours, rafting offers in the hotel or environment available. Sights such as castle, the stalactite cave and waterfalls are close.
Private stretch of beach with beach bar until 18 o'clock. Beach sand/gravel mixture. Beach towel against 10 €pledge at the front desk available. Room clean, good ambience, climate and zubuchbarer in-room safe (2€ per day). Multilingual tv channels. Stocked minibar. Restaurant and kitchen very friendly and hard-working.
Especially f&b manager gürhan and ... his staff Ramazan and mecnun were very friendly and hard-working. Dishes were varied, mostly national cuisine. The hotel is constantly tried to improve. read more

I spent a great and unforgettable time there! Rooms were cleaned every day, hotel service was really nice and helpful, I had no problems with communication :)The hotel has a good decor and you can feel a friendly, holiday atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it for everyone:) The only disadvantage is a way to the beach: you have to cross the street or go through the tunnel. read more

Loved the hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Ercan was in charge of the entertainment something different every night. All in all a lovely hotel. The food was varied always fresh fruit. Rooms cleaned everyday. Only downside was the drinks in the mini bar were charged for. Beach and sunbeds very good. read more

If anyone vacation in a small hotel and nevertheless the service not miss me, is in OBA star just perfect. It is a rather small hotel with all inclusive food.
Near to the beach located. By bus for 0.70 cents to Alanya drive and several possibilities to go shopping.
Who evenings a stroll to behind the hotel the possibility, there are some shops like supermarkets and so on bars and restaurants are also available.
The food in the hotel is OK; means: at lunch there was Schnitzel - evenings there was Schnitzel in the salad cut.
Varied is something ... else.
The staff were always keen to help. The cleaning lady had however not understood that they 'do not disturb' not deseam should and stood there suddenly in the room.
Staff at the reception could speak German.
Nice was also the introduction at the start a lady from the hotel service.
All together it was a very nice and relaxing vacation. read more

The food was unfortunately very often only lukewarm and not diverse.
The service was really top. All of the staff were very attentive and helpful.
The entertainment program was very entertaining. Every evening we had a lot of fun.
It was a pity that the promised water-Aerobics no only time has taken place.
Every evening a party -bus organized, the hotel guests in a club brings. It went smoothly and loads of fun in party -bus is naturally also included.
The spa area is also very clean. The Turkish bath is very recommendable.
We felt in the hotel very comfortable ... and felt very much at ease.
In case we again a vacation in Alanya plan, we will definitely again at the OBA star hotel.-) read more

A rather small hotel, that at a small pool around is built.
About the cleaning in the hotel is nothing to complain about.
In the all inclusive are breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet-form included.
The types of people are rather beginning to middle 20, singles and couple keep the balance. Mostly turks from Germany, furthermore czechs and russians.
For children less suitable, (4 -5 grandchildren were there ), children's area in the pool also very small. read more

We have a very nice holiday on this Hotel. Very nice staff. We get very quick tired of all inclusive but its near to other restaurants. But OBA STAR is a very friendly and nice Hotel. Good location in Oba. read more

This hotel must be a inside tip for turkish citizens in Germany his. Partly 50% turkish tourist,20% Russian tourist, the rest is spread over Europa whereby German tourist are hardly present.
A small hotel, with the most rooms pool sided are, so that with the
Daily evening animation(21.30-11:00 P. M.) and the afterwards following
Karaoke in the nearby located restaurant sleeping until 01:00 A. M. is impossible.
The state of the hotel is good, the rooms are friendly and tastefully decorated. The putzrytmus of the staff you can however not understand, either the nap falls ... from or at: o'clock when showering the cleaning lady in the room.
The food was sufficient, but too monotonous, backkartoffel and fries it must not every evening. The good turkish cuisine is very short and why we for dinner from plastic cups, the cutlery partly even arrange had we didn't understand. It had the appearance, that with the staff massive was saved. read more

We felt very good in this hotel the rooms were clean the food has tasted great the staff members were very friendly, helpful especially the Arif:-). The area was also reasonable. The center was also nearby. At night one could sleep well was not noisy. The beds were very comfortable. Evenings after the evening meal there were animations really hard the people to converse. Of tediousness there was never the talk. Great hotel. I would really recommend to anyone.

Hotel could be nice if it clean would be. Therefore perhaps everything in Schummerlicht beach very neglected. Pool area small. For families with children not recommendable. Drinks disgusting usually in plastic cup. The kitchen put in the effort. Distance and connection to Alanya city very well about 3 kilometer after 12 years holiday in Turkey -was gladly again at any time since I am increasingly a rudeness and rip-off in the shops and indifference in the hotel feast. read more
