Large business hotel in the proximity of the business district and a the hauptgastronomiebezirke of caracas in the upper price segment. The posted rate included only night. The hotel is already somewhat older (earlier a Radisson) and is mainly business, kongressbesucher and on weekends for bar interesting. Guests are mostly south american businessmen, but also their families (children) to bring their own. Much value on the presentation of the company logos (two lions) put, it is present everywhere. read hotel review

My room was a standard room in the 2. floor at the rear. Size was okay with chair, table bed, satellite tv (spanish, english) and bathroom with jacuzzi tub, air conditioning, telephone and coffee maker. The mini bar was locked so not usable as a fridge. The furniture was according to the hotelalters used, especially in the bathroom already clear wear. Cleanliness was ok (but not 5 star) but the whirl tub due to the hygenic impression not used. Improvement was the noise level (not only, because in the rear part of the hotel driveway is, with the the local horns on excessive waits react), but, because under my room at night irregular generators or machinery works, the the impression, as if one would be on a boat. So better a room in the upper floors to choose! Also one should not always with warm water be expected. In my room there was a that dusty ionenluftreiniger, the was not attached, but not the impression, that you should be doing.

  • Gastronomy

There are three restaurants and a bar. Next to the aforementioned service flaws the food is ok, the japanese restaurant is tidy, the food in the hip restaurant (mix of international and local cuisine) was good, the breakfast there was a buffet with venezuelan and international selection, certain areas (fruit, yogurt...) Are subject to the scarcity or are simply not refilled. The prices for the food are whatever the choice high-compared with normal restaurants in caracas even very high.

  • Service
    2.0

For a 5 star hotel very poor service. The staff wanted in its internal talks by the guests will not be disturbed, generally looked away when guests come, you have the feeling the staff was the smile prohibited. Only limited (mainly the front desk) spoke english. For the very expensive breakfast (higher than the tagesspesensatz! For caracas-due to the inflation Venezuela it makes no sense prices to call, they are next week may become obsolete) you have up to 30 minutes in line. The table was not cleaned, the cutlery steals get together, for a coffee you have several waiters address (although almost as much waiters as guests in the room). On the weekend is just one of the three restaurants open-who japanese't like pitch. The room cleaning is also times, it recommends the light and sign for the cleaning to use. The elevators can sometimes very long (10-15 minutes) need, the use of the stairs is prohibited (unhinges alarm from). If the room cleaned, it is okay. Although the room was a minibar, which also makes noise, but it is complete and thus not usable (despite hinterlegter credit).

The hotel has it's own pool area with three pools, which only one during my presence available. Beach chairs were sufficient, unfortunately already all somewhat older. The pool itself is strongly chlorinated, and you will be after sunset on the room, because the chemical treatment of the pools is not good for the health would be. Anderersetis shower also no one from (in particular, perhaps also, because the direct showers at the pool did not work, but one a floor more deeply into the dressing is) probably the strong chlorination appropriate. Internet is available, but for european standards rather slow and especially on the weekends not at all at times. To the shopping possibilities in the hotel i couldn't say anything, since the shops to were always. Generally is caracas only limited for shopping, even if large centres there are, as the products either expensive or are not up to date. Only gasoline is cheap-cheaper than water!

Located on a main artery of caracas in the direct vicinity of the militärflughafens. This means occasionally landing military helicopters and the permanently hupende traffic are present. In the hotel are several shops, but in the two weeks in which there was practically never open. The assortment of the stores was not necessarily up to date. Although a major shopping area and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the security situation in caracas, one should but only by quality taxi head, the crossing the carriageway is rather somewhat for strong risk capital people on the basis of the usual strong and ruthless transport. From the front of the hotel you have a wonderful view (in particular, from the higher floors) on a leafy pool area (a part of the landscape was currently repaired) and the military, the city and the caracas surrounding mountains. The back of the hotel and a slightly built up hill. Excursions to the Avila on the secured gondola offer quality taxis. Otherwise caracas from touristic term difficult, as the threat to foreigners currently (augustus 2012) is extremely high. Generally for Venezuela offers the relatively secure archipelago las roces in, the airport of caracas ( maiqutia -depending on the traffic between 45 minutes and 2 hours from the hotel) are available.

The eurobuilding is probably one of the best hotels in Caracas. It has a well-equipped large rooms, cable television, highspeed wireless Internet, bathrobes and slippers etc. the soundproofing of the windows and rooms is very good, I always quiet nights sleep. Air conditioning system can be regulated well. Gym and pool were the only facilities and the pool is relatively large. In the hotel there are a few shops but for shopping You'll have to drive a few minutes, for example: 'Tolon'. Restaurants are also within a few minutes in Las Mercedes. Walk in Caracas, nobody is not insane. The ... breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, great deal. Only the breakfast room is too small and there is that the line and have to wait. Probably will not only guests for breakfast (Sunday) and it would be better if the overnight get priority. read hotel review

A good place to stay one safe area. Very friendly people. Everything was very clean. With large swimming pool. Gymnastics rooms on the top floor. About 1 hour from Maiquetia -airport away. the whole hotel air-conditioned-so quite cold. High prices for drinks. Nearby a huge shopping center. read hotel review
