The hotel is indeed a family business with moderately clean rooms, a small salon for breakfast. Average price. I stayed here for 7 days. I really wish the hotel personnel treated the customers in a more respectful manner, however. I do not recommend.

Harburger Hof the hotel I can accommodate a maximum of 1-2 nights for kurztrips recommendable-but only if you are traveling alone. As far as I could tell, there was only one double room. All other rooms are single room with only one narrow 90 centimeter-bed.
The rooms are small and well maintained. The decor was, in part already come into the years. The rooms are equipped with a tv with the most important programs, telephone and in the bathroom a hairdryer.
The breakfast buffet offers roll, jam and Nutella than once portions, cheese and sausage, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee ..., tea, fruit juices.
The hotel is in Hamburg-Harburg centrally located and only about five minutes walk from the tram stop Harburg town hall. Behind the house there is a free possibility for hotel guests for parking for cars (reception!). In front of the house there is a display.
You should not expect too much from this hotel. But it is cheap, clean and in Hamburg-Harburg quite centrally located two minutes walk away is the 'lambs twiete ', a restaurant street. Good opportunity to eat lunch or dinner at the nearby food. read more

We were there for a wedding in Hamburg-Harburg in this hotel.
Guest parking on the street was not possible (and display parking zone), we could park at the rear of the hotel, where however only room for four cars).
The rooms are on the first floor (no elevator) and for people with mobility problems difficult reachable.
All rooms (except for 1) are tube-like with two in a row, by a small partition separate, beds arranged. Thus absolutely nothing for a long time people. We have after a complaint (Bell, marvel, turn on the paragraph) the only room with a real ... double bed get, but we have a length at the time of booking had said, that we need without basing beds.
Also the corridor for all from 1.90 mete not dangerous because of the low ceilings. I was not the only one, the only while bending over in the hall. The double room was 72 EUR, the breakfast with eight euros per person. The breakfast was for a cold breakfast in the average simple hotels. read more
