The hotel we know for years, since the family in Coburg lives. The rooms are very simple and rather appropriately furnished. The TV is old. In the bathroom there was a tub with a shower curtain. The shower curtain was stained. The bathtub was with molds and the shower head was rusty.
The breakfast buffet is varied and good. The staff are friendly.
The hotel is difficult to find and at the start from Coburg. To the city center you have to with the taxi drive.
It is definitely not a four star hotel. read more

The hotel is a bit out of town, easy to miss. Made a rather bad impression from the outside. The way into the city on foot is quite far, the environment of the hotel (died out Ladenpassage, in the evening dead) is not very nice the rooms were not very clean, the bathroom was very small and in the evening in the bar (, even though there had been many guests in the hotel were) no operation. Furthermore, no miracle (the service) in the prices. The prices in the bar were much too high, even in comparison with some other ... associated with the other major cities I've ever been to. Furthermore, 10 €per day for Wi-Fi access does not seem to me to be up-to-date. In many hotels without any additional charges.
So outside of the hotel eating and drinking and only in the hotel to sleep and breakfast, breakfast was really very good. read more

We stayed in Coburg for three days from 03,06-05 June 2010.

Tulip inn hotel pleased us very well. The staff of the hotel is generally very friendly. The breakfast left nothing to be desired.
The rooms have a size you feel comfortable.
For a city break this hotel is highly recommended.
In the city center of Coburg you would walk around 20 minutes until 15, you will
rewarded with a beautiful square.

Very good three star hotel, it had deserved four stars. Service, friendliness, willingness to help was great. The breakfast was awesome, in some four stars hotel there was not so varied, wide, fresh breakfast buffet. In Coburg the number 1! read more

Ideal for business travellers. Hotel has very good access, one is fast everywhere in Coburg and the surrounding area. Meeting of two worlds together it, from the outside, from the seventies, inside a very beautiful, very clean Hotel, of today's time. Very nice and very helpful front desk, not pushy. Discretion is standard, with helpful and very friendly. Rooms are very spacious, super clean and in the bathroom there was a shower in the bathtub, so that you can swim to relax, and then in the morning fit-shower. The breakfast was excellent, very tasty, varied and wishes were met by ... very friendly service immediately. Can compete with any four stars hotel.
As a frequent and often in Coburg is the three or four hotels, personally stayed in which was absolutely the best. I think it is from excellent management.
Tulip inn Coburg again and again so! read more

We stayed during our new Year's Eve holiday with the Frankfurt messages in Coburg in Hotel tulip inn. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel was very quiet, we heard nothing from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast buffet was very versatile, you could without stress of all food really find enough to eat. A strong praise to the breakfast ladies, they were very nice and friendly, and we had to rush not, in order to make space for the next. read more

The hotel is for me, as a business traveller, the last choice in Coburg. Extremely impersonal, gray and 'dead' in an area. The hotel offers a good breakfast and the overnight accomodation nothing. Until the next 20 minutes footpath restaurant. read more
