Sleeping area double room just good 10 meters². 2 drawers, a clothes bar with 3 handles only for people over 1.75 meters size to reach. No cleaning of the rooms, underkept walls (fat slices). The Hotel Axel in Berlin located near the wittenbergplatzes /kadewe. It is a 'special' hotel (or how should i call it?) And has approximately 91 rooms and suites, on 6 floors.
In advertising (internet) you can read '. This Axel Hotel Berlin with its cosmopolitan and exquisite flair, a tempting combination of design, comfort and outstanding service. His appeal and the elegant combination of gold and black, interactions and textures type the hotel a distinctive touch. The hotel has 87 rooms, their concept and facilities for maximum comfort for the guest promise.'
Three things i would like to say ... at the outset:
1. check-in and check-out was fast. The staff at the hotel was businesslike friendly. From service i expect but more.
2. our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. Here there were, what the cleaning concerned, nothing auszusetztn.
3. the hotel has on the 6. floor a spa (advertising' let it in the spa from Axel wellness once so correctly. '). For a wellness usual crowd is this area is way too small designed. The hot tub offers space for 4-6 people, steam and finnish sauna for 4-5 people, 6 beach chairs, no other seats. Fitness center is equipped with professional equipment.
As the advertisement promises, the Axel Hotel an exquisite flair. But unfortunately is not all, what great looks, also for the everyday life should be practical and good. I have here some important things, stand out, compiled, a general impression of the Axel hotels mediate. Any potential guest must decide, as these facts for themselves rated.
Hallway:
Many knowledgeable of the hotel in black. This gives a somewhat 'bleak' impression also in the corridor.

Except two hooks on the toilet (for the provided bathrobes) no further hooks for jacket/coat available.
Open closet with 5 hangers. The clothing is at a height of 2.22 metres attached.
Below the cloakroom at a height of 106 centimeter are the glasses and a small bottle of red wine ( minibargetränk ) turned off.
Two drawers above the mini bar as a shelf space for clothes was available too. In the drawers, it is so warm, that chocolate it melts.

Since i often in Berlin to visit am, i already longer the request had me in Axel Hotel einzuquatieren. The Axel Hotel Berlin is located directly on the gay Kiez and Wittenberg Platz (kadewe), and tauentziehnstraße and Ku'damm are almost right on the doorstep, which is, of course, a great starting point for shopping, sightseeing and of course exploring the nightlife allows. At the front desk i was very friendly greeted and i was on the spa area of the hotel attentive done on the 6. floor is, practically the i a room on the corridor got. Since i in the morning on vacation very gladly long ausschlafe, i the breakfast only twice, and it was but also the thickest minus for the hotel and led to the biggest disappointment in my evaluation. The breakfast alone was okay, it was nothing special and perhaps you would expect from a 4 star hotel more choice the offered courses, because you from other houses of the category know. The spa area which on the website with great pictures advertised is, leaves much to be desired. Used Cloths are around, the floor was stained and everything seemed dirty and unkept. Was over the weekend in Berlin in the hotel axel. In other words, the two positive aspects only the location of the hotel and the staff. The location was good, 5 minutes footpath the kdw and the staff were friendly, helpful, polite, quick, just very good. The hotel itself is the design a matter of taste. All in black and gold kept. The walls in the hallways are black, many mirror the hallways make larger definitors. The rooms, well, walls black, furniture black, shower black and red light. Too much design. No closet for clothing in the room, oK was ... only staying for a weekend, but if I as a week stay would, life from the suit-case? Minibar was available however expensive, a coke 0.2 cost 4 euros. For 2 persons was only a bathrobe and even slippers available. Shower worked not, the water came boiling hot out, it could not colder bodies. On request told that problem and staff offered this to change. He has also. Air conditioning was available. Free Wi-Fi. Spa area was OK, with jacuzzi on the roof. Breakfast for 4 stars poor.
