The flatotel was in december 2012 one of the cheapest 4-star hotels in Manhattan. The rooms are for nantucket quite large, but quite worn. Breakfast had in our tariff expensive additionally booked are. The location is great, only 5-7 minutes on foot to Times Square and different metro-lines directly connected. There is a decent gym almost at the top (46. floor). The entrance area is rather small and the staff were partly friendly, partly neutral. The windows were in our room not completely sealed, so it relatively loud remained. Also there was only a very old tv. For us was ... the location in connection with the price the main argument and we would in this respect also always book it again. read more

The hotel lies in the 52. Street, in the center of Manhattan. Sights are reachable on foot, the Broadway in 5 minutes, the rockefellercenter in 7 minutes, the time Square in 10 minutes. Absolutely centrally located!
Two star the hotel needs to be updated, as there were some things the repaired to be in the room 2301, for example the castle at the door, they brought only with violence on \u263a or the showers were always the floor tiles in the back area wet => wet feet, a line broken \u263a with a towel on the floor it went.
Two ... star breakfast there was not, as it was called you should outside of the hotel take read more

The hotel is at the 52. road between 6. and 7. av and therefore very centrally located right in downtown Manhattan. Many attractions, for example the Rockefeller Center, Central Park, bloomingdales, 5. avenue and Times Square are within walking distance. Also the next metro station is only a short walk away. Nearby the hotel, there is plenty of Diners and restaurants.
The hotel is already a bit older and would certainly have the a or other 'überholung' necessary. The rooms are for New York standards quite large and, although somewhat dated, it was comfortable and acceptable. You had to finally ... not in the hotel sit, but the city to explore. And it is just perfect.
We have it found very pleasant, that the hotel so centrally located and you often during the day the possibility had, short to the hotel to go, to for instance bags, and then again in this vibrant city to go back.
This hotel we could really warmly recommend and would definitely again for the next New York stay! read more

For a trip to new york city the hotel is optimally, it is the metro not so far away and Broadway and Times Square in the surroundings, everything else you can take the metro good! The only thing we perhaps fault would was, that there is no safe in the room and all valuables and papers to carry. read more

The flatotel international is a business and leisure as well laid out hotel. We were from 28,01.-01,02. 2012 for 5 days (4 nights in this hotel. The hotel has 46 floors, we were on the 14th floor building, this is the 'smokers floor'. The rooms were clean and large, were every day cleaned and with fresh towels stocked. The New York times every morning was in front of our door. Free fresh fruits to go in the lobby. read more

The location is very good, everything in Manhattan to reach on foot. My room was very big, with a bath and good bed. The tv had, as well as the carpet its best days behind itself. I could not remember, when i the last time a crt had. Had a damage caused by water in the bath in the bathtub in the morning at 6 and was then rausgeklingelt. Reaction was, that big fan designed (so it was probably not the first time), but no room change was offered. Since i was only there for two nights there was, it ... was then matter and i just unplugging it, if i in the room was. But for kurztrips a decent, favorable alternative read more

In the middle of Manhattan has relatively short walk to Central Park and time square. Unfortunately the room was already been renovated not more, small repairs were necessary (closet doors, shutters, etc.) in principle, however, the room clean.
The biggest complaint was the staff however: incompetent and rude (not all, but some). Above all, the Spanish speaking staff had great difficulty with the english language. We can recommend the hotel not, be it the room, the staff or the price. Hotels in similar price are in NYC it enough. read more

GENERAL:
Modern four star hotel. Clean and well maintained. Ideal for a city break. Right on Broadway. We had booked only the room, there were enough coffeeshops (for example, Starbucks right across the street from the hotel), restaurants and bars to the hotel were about, reasonably priced and are also recommended.
ROOM:
Typical for Manhattan standards: very large and comfortable room. Bathroom had everything what you needed and also very beautiful decorated. read more

The hotel has 45 floors and near the 52 Street between Central Park and Times Square (both within walking around 5 mins). On the top floor is a free gym with sensational view. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby, are located in the basement available two free use computers. For New York standards spacious rooms (ours a corner room, estimated 25-30 square meters). Everything was very clean, great view from the upper floors on the streets of Manhattan. Climate in order in the room, outside noise in our floor (21 ) to hear. Staff seem "unobtrusive", the concierge ... gave us with a great deal of effort, time and great tips (restaurants)! We didn't try breakfast, restaurant area looks on us uninviting and price seemed to be rather high, since in the 52 Street several excellent breakfast cafes. The guest structure was international, tourists. Age structure was rather from 40 and older, so very quiet, pleasant guests, many Europeans. read more
