After several years and hotels, in the Grand Seker for the first time booked, and we were very pleasantly surprised about this hotel!
Unfortunately we had in Germany the mistake and booked an economy room, but this room (blocka) did not please us as we have gone against a small surcharge transferred.
The hotel is slow grown, you will see in the architecture the the lobby earlier in block a home was. Then later between block b and c has been established. Which is great that the hotel its roots from the sugar trade union has maintained (Grand Seker = ... large sugar). The staff the zuckerfabricken spend their relaxing also in this hotel, what is in the food and in their diversity mind. We had therefore in this period lots of fun! read more

The rooms for 1 person ok, for 2 people more than small. The bed is much too narrow. In the closet can only 'crooked' clothes hung up (deep much too small)! In the bathroom was missing a make-up mirror and the bathtub is very high ( definitely not for older people) otherwise ok! Cleanliness/room cleaning very good, is true but not in all areas to (see bar)! The entire hotel is a little outdated (furniture, condition). The guest structure predominantly german and at this time and 60! All. -inclusive was okay, but very much against specially payment (for example. Rosé ... wine, towels f. pool, safe = 2, -euro /per day) and so on. read more

We had a very nice vacation for a great price.
The buffet was very tasty and for all eating habits something for everyone. I always not at all all manage to test ☺ great i found, that a small buffet from salad bread cheese. Around the hour there was. Thus we could also breakfast, if we early from the hotel wanted. Sauna, hammam and pool are also there. The sauna was sometimes a bit coldly adjusted and to the apology you had to also care.
The service was very pleasant, super friendly waiters and very attentive. Only for breakfast the ... beverage service not always that well, but the 20 steps to the wet bar, we then just made.-)
At the front desk was also very friendly and helpful and gave us advice given.
We were at the end of february/beginning march, the outdoor pool was unfortunately only run and baderutsche not at all turned on, that was a real pity. And for the beach/pool towels are not included you must change 1 Euro pay, this is not included in the catalogue and there is no sea view, as it is about 300 meters away is. Except for afternoon dartspielen (-. -) there were in the evening no animation, that was a bit of a shame, but in the hotel bar one has also felt well entertained.
So all in all, it is a nice star hotel and definitely for people with a smaller budget recommended. read more

My husband & i were from 23-12-01 to 12-5-01.13 in this hotel.
Once and never again, we had a room in the neighbor building, as was the whole
House totally cool the rooms as cold as the strong winter man had a 2 cover to get. Then hiesse it we must 31.12 the room leave & be moved into the other building
Since this building be cleaned. We got a room where man from the smallest balcony at all on the roof looked & the disco was so loud the sleeping not been thought
On the beach, there ... was not a beach chair or bar just nothing. The other hotels had everything open chairs were outside. There there was nothing different than every evening the same animation or bingo. New year's eve would have been better you have the buffet left. Besides that the hotel was very clean & the food good as well. However the hotel these stars, and 90% in favour of not at all. Never again. Dear neighbor hotel. read more

We stayed because it was better especially the food. The spa area always kaltgewesen, because always passage was. The swimming pool was very cold air and water. Food was hardly alternation. Drinks were very good. The hotel is already part ageing. I would go again but only if it is warmer. Hotel was when it rained very cold it was hardly heated. read more

Very nice, family-friendly hotel. All hotel employees very pleasant, no matter wether at the bar, in the dining room or the maids, always friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately was the hotel's own disco between christmas and new year's not open. Very pleasant was, that in all rooms a heating gave (previous reviews i really don't understand therefore not, in the stands, that there is no heating there was?)
Since very many already repeatedly here winter holiday spent and every year again, i think speaks for itself and a good review for this hotel. read more

We are from reviews never so decived me as in the this hotel! Are the people blind or these reviews different?
My husband and i flies very much around the world, but what we in this hotel experienced one can hardly write down. Old hotel with langzeitrentnern who believe for your holiday the hotel to have bought. Very worn and small rooms are inclusive! The average age was without joke 70 years! Jogginganzüge were duty for all occasions! Playing cards from 09:30 with alcohol until late at night.
The food was okay. You could feed, if you no expectations ... represents. The hotel belongs to a sugar refinery, whereby the staff and teams at our time the hotel besieged. We felt like we were in a hostel. Our 2. week were not not differently! 90% hotel assessment how can this be? Let they the fingers about this hotel and give a few Euro more! We also had very lots of guests from lower sozialschichten, the other guests beats androhten! read more

As already before me from other is rated the hotel is have already gotten very old.
Overall we were but happy! It is however rather a three stars hotel!
90% recommendation cannot match!? We have a great deal of criticism received.
The hotel bar is too small and there is just a restaurant in the house!
For a bit more money, you get much more in a 5 star hotel!
The money you should definitely invest! read more

Really is an excellent hotel. There are degrees 5 minutes on foot to the beach and the shopping mile.
Giant selection at the buffet with delicious delicacies. Also for a winter vacation adequate. We spent new year's eve they also celebrate there. There was a 7 course menu \u263a
In the winter you can really great clothes shopping and right bargain secure.
Sommerschlussverkauf. Really hammam prices and the service are not pushy at all.

A hotel, what is somewhat older. We were already several times here and we always liked it. New year's eve galässen was not so good, as in the years before. It should be something special, but it was next to it. Better again buffet, than used plates things to serve. The cleanliness has also diminished. At the bar got only selected guests free cocktails, the other to pay. Indoor swimming pool not really warmly and also room very cool. We have been in the Grand Seker for the 3. time and it was definitely not the last time. In this value for money you have to the hotel book simply. The rooms are although small but it is actually only to sleep and shower there. The choice of food is already good but not very big, but as for the quality the best. We are eigentkich for the food much, but we always found something. read more

The hotel owns many different seperate houses. The waiters on new year's eve almost produced a fantastic achievement! On 31. the tagesservice covered. The same waiter had the whole night by all the guests satisfy and were on january again fully operational! With us unthinkable and also definitely not exemplary! The information for the guests were very reserved passed. Knew for example nobody is, when the event of the new year and what exactly is happening. The organization verschiedeneer things left much to be desired. Got for example with the 'bingo' -a alone all 5 prices! The children were the ... magic show and could not more on the with a lot of effort a new year's eve menu participate. For kids was but in the remaining either. The cleanliness was ok and every day it was the mini bar with water refilled. By prolonged rains before our arrival there were many parts of the hotel underwater. The drain-covers often missing, so that you had to watch out, where you go force. Also in the hotel pool it was not safe! The tiles were sometimes so damaged, that acute danger of injury existed. A full body massage was in the hotel great! Price-performance ratio was correct. But we were in the hotel in Lara other one accustomed. We must definitely not again! read more

The hotel does wrong to 4 stars.
It is old, the rooms are soon smaller than a dog kennel, in the bathroom the mold indent.
The food repeated every day in a different order.
The staff at reception: unfriendly.
If we do not create a so clean cleaning lady would have had, well then: but it has the room with this equipment saved.
A waiter in the restaurant ran every evening the hook from,
- that we luckily each evening had, while the other stupid stood around and the guests then the beverages yourself had.
