A week seaside holiday on the dead sea, with daily salt water pool and naturschlammpackung in healthy air. For this is this hotel excellent. Who general seaside holiday at the beach or only with a pool want to do, don't come here. The gastronomy offers is not quite worthy of 5 stars. A insect spray with you, you never can undisturbed sit outside or by the pool or at the sea beach chairs, because of the large plague of flies in the dead sea. Very unpleasant. Very good for a short stay. read more

A very nice quiet hotel complex, which directly at the dead sea is. There are many pool areas and in the low season there are not a problem by the pool or beach to find a free sun lounger. To the hotel complex the Mövenpick Hotel and the Marriot and nothing. Here you can really only relaxation. Amman is approximately 30 minutes on foot and there are only the shops in the hotel complex.
The rooms the Ishtar village are very clean and spacious. We had a view of the pool. She were every day cleaned. Are safe the cleaning ... crew not as experienced as other Kempinski hotels, but you are very willing to make an effort and if something is missing, you later you ask for when the poison round in the evening.
In the pool areas it is important, which pool you shall, for example the infinity pool is very clean and a great view the dead sea. With the other pool areas, as well as the shallow pool can it already once to a rough pollution come, as not all hotel guests correct behavior and the waiters with the dirt plate not afterwards came.
The Obelisk restaurant was very clean, even if you the serving staff now and then a small nod to, so that everything runs smoothly. The staff needs help with the Routineabläufen and under constant Surveillance, so that it runs, but they make a lot of incredible friendliness and willingness to help way. The food was fresh every day and the chefs provide explanations for from. The selection is huge and varied every day. Unfortunately is the selection of warm dishes for vegetarians limited (here there is potential of improvement).
In the full picture the hotel is on the good way the Kempinski standard to be, it needs only a couple more improvement in the serving staff. But there are already in service and cook area very nice German locally the problem fix it.
We went to the Mövenpick looked at, but this hotel was too confusing and too loud, since late into the night a entertainment program, and we were the peace and quiet kempinski enjoyed have-) read more

The quality was extremely dependent on who you got. Nice and hard-working staff stood lazy and unwilling employee opposite. A smooth '6' rating the restaurant ' Obelisk', something you have to have experienced this ( or better!) and it still very expensive! Very hard, friendly and efficient against everything, what the reception area at staff was offered. read more

The hotel is very beautiful however poorly maintained. The service is polite but not accommodating.
The pool Chair Mats at the pools were very dingy and the rooms are rather run down.
We were very disappointed as we were in a Kempinski different are used to.
Twice was a wrong amount issued...
Were in the last few years in the neighboring Mövenpick and Marriot, which substantially better and clean and also in the service professional. A great shame!

The website is deceiving appearances, inter alia: Http://www. COM/DE/deadsea/restaurants % and 20% 20 bars/restaurants/pages/restaurants. Aspx
the promise of very inviting restaurants 'all inclusive ' guests with half board not be visited without the full costs in addition to play.
It would be more appropriate than the pictures on the website make GILGAMESH hidden restaurant.
I am completely clear why this is being taken away.
1.), the 'restaurant' a huge dining room in the atmosphere of a cafeteria and noise music which was the same every day (because it was much too loud) rather than pleasant background music
2. ...) the offered dishes were unlovingly prepared are both, as well as poor-
Examples therefor:
Vegetables and potatoes were almost raw and I don't know the difference between chew and raw.
the strawberries on the dessert buffet were already 1/3 lazy.
the show cooking was limited to the mix of pasta was non-existent because pots with cooked pasta and sauces and ingredients if necessary abzumischen and a new pot to pour in cannot be described as show cooking.
3.) the deposited under a heat lamp meat or fish words had to the guest with a ' Vegetables 'meter without any Schneidschärfe plane.
4.) the staff is completely overstrained-order/service/charge the drinks Odyssey-the daily search for a bottle opener 'amused' not only us, was finally found a and the approximately ten minutes at the table you can open the bottle of red wine, a white wine glass in promptly served. Red wine glasses were mainly used for water and soft drinks out of a tin. The empty dishes of clearing the tables to work, but then slowly, after we have drafted the vermeintl. Head waiter asked: whether or not it would be possible the soup bowls and starter plates after we had already begun with the main course. Please note the restaurant was by far not fully occupied.
The staff at the front desk was very, the arrivals area and in the business center can make up for the shortcomings of the service personnel, however, in any way.
So you had to wait forever at the breakfast for coffee, as well as the mini-bar and toilet paper in the room on the next to last day no longer entirely refilled.
Although the dead sea every year to fall by up to a metre, it would be for a five stars hotel quite appropriate Stiegenabgang to designed.
Dzt. You have already partly broken on concrete clumps (presumably once stayed plates were) to sea again. read more

A wonderful five stars hotel directly at the dead sea. A very large hotel area, far and wide nothing except, of course, the hotel. Highly Recommended. A hotel that one wants to see if you need to book the dead sea. read more
