The hotel has a really fantastic location. Directly in front of the hotel the sightseeing bus. Unfortunately is it very badly soundproofed, because it directly at a main street is, but for a short city break very recommendable. The garage is unfortunately not very big, so that with a larger car could face some difficulties and there is not lots of parking spaces. The breakfast consisted of small sweet pastries and croissants and orange juice, coffee and some fruit (apple or banana), but there was no separate room, but one eats either in the room or reception area. read more

The hotel lies at the Lombard street, one reached for example the next cable car station on foot - what however somewhat strenuous is, since one (as in SF often the case) good uphill walk to. The car you can free of charge in the hotel's own underground parking - however are the parking spaces there also rather inadequate-it can also happen, that you after one daytrip no get space.
The staff are very young, makes its job, but friendliness you had to wait in vain.
Our room was in the 3rd floor-clean, large enough, the bathroom also fine. Unfortunately ... there is no fridge.
The breakfast is unfortunately only and exclusively from sweet Particles, coffee and orange juice. Seats are as good as not available. The 3. stick in a area with places to sit or if the weather is nice on the terrace breakfast.
The Buena Vista is a centrally located and relatively cheap possibility, in SF to stay. read more

The hotel has a pleasant size with own ample parking (underground garage) directly next to the main entrance.
The hotel is clean, however already somewhat older and partly run-down which didn't really bother us though.
We had breakfast included when booking.
On the 3rd floor is a small terrace on the roof, where you smoke and even a view of golden gate bridge can throw. read more

The hotel lies at the Lombard street and therefore entry lane from the golden gate to SFO purely. One should eighth a room at the back to get. Apart from that is the location ideal for the car, free of charge, in the small garage and SFO on foot and with public transport to explore. Muni pass sale-save a lot of money. With bus and train in a few minutes, you are on Fisherman's Wharf, pier 39 and in the center.
Close to the hotel you will find plenty of shopping options, eating and drinking. Amongst others Mel's Diner, known ... from American graffiti (10 minutes on foot). Very much selection has one on the parallel Bay street. ( Starbucks, Bistros etc.). Breakfast in the hotel you can not really as such and can confidently without it. Very nice small terrace and a seating area with a view of SFO on the 3. Etage! read more

The motel is due to its good location - both the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as to fishermans wharf/pier 39, it is not far. The parking spaces are free of charge, as well as wi-fi. Unfortunately, the prices in a direction, the price-performance ratio is not quite corresponds to. Otherwise but without recommended motel.
From the traffic you get not that much with, when you a room the rear has. read more

The motto: you get what you pay for. The rooms and beds are OK. The offered ' breakfast' wasn't very appealing. This was in the' lobby' structured and contained fruit (with slight senile lentigo), muffins and other pastry, coffee and orange juice. The hotel is good location. One reaches the Fisherman's Wharf on foot in 10 minutes. We knew what we were in this hotel perceived and recommend I this hotel further, as our criteria was: book, rooms okay and good starting point for the sightseeing. read more

the hotel has 3 floors and was located directly on the busy part of the Lombard street-. Parking was free in the garage possible (very practically, there one otherwise easily 30 American dollar per day only for the parking! ), breakfast and Wi-Fi were also inclusive.
on the third floor there was a small terrace, where you with good weather to the golden gate Bridge can see.
rooms facing Lombard street quite loud, since unfortunately also very thin, banging window. read more

The motel has a extremely convenient location to the city on foot to explore. To the wharf you can comfortable on the famous Lombard street and only one block from the motel there is a regular bus direct to golden gate Bridge. For SF rather unusual, the hotel has a free garage, where SUVs easily fit into it. The value for money is OK. Oh, and for smokers-there is no choice Smokers room, but at least a small Rooftop ashtrays. read more

The Buena Vista in San Francisco falasch nothing.
An ideal starting point for excursions to the entire city. The bus station is a few minutes walk away from the hotel and if you take the 1 or three days ticket buys, easy to walk everywhere.
The check-in process was smooth and simple, although we were a little early. With all of our questions could be helped.
Our room had an average size, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. There was a fridge available. On floors one ice machine exists, as well as a beverage and a snackautomat.
The ... breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, fruit and sweet pastries-just a typical continental breakfast, as in many hotels is offered.
Wireless internet is available, as well as a free parking space in the underground car park. The latter can sometimes be expensive in SFO.
Our room was on the side of the hotel. In the rooms, the to the road out, it can be sometimes noisy. So when booking just ask.
Besides it is a super price/performance ratio. read more

The Buena Vista motor inn was the first leg of our three-week tour of California, Nevada and Arizona. We were three days in San Francisco and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is very well located and you can explore much to foot. Directly in front of the hotel in the morning, this two-storeyed hop-on, hop-off bus. But he stops just in front of the hotel. Otherwise, you just two, three blocks up the road, it stops at regular intervals. The well-known hot spot 'Fisherman's Wharf' is only about 15 minutes walk away. Nearby the hotel there is ... a small corner mini-market, for those small shopping okay. If you want to buy a bit more, about five minutes drive away is a large 'Safeway', were there is everything, which one needs in such a way. Restaurants are also sufficient nearby the hotel. Free parking spaces in the two underground car parks of the hotel. For San Francisco an exception, with free parking and a big plus! Except for a short trip at the supermarket we left the car but not moved during our Aufentnhalts. We have everything to foot, by bus or by cable car (with drive) explored. Our room was a good size with two queen size beds with very good mattresses. In the room was a tv, a fridge, coffee maker, as well as iron & ironing board. The cleanliness was good. Here you can book without hesitation. read more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location is really great, about ten minutes walk to fisherman's warf. Nearby there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping. A supermarket is located just a few minutes away (Safeway) for a two stars hotel is the Buena Vista was really great the staff at the reception was very friendly, check-in was done very quickly. The rooms are a good size and everything you needed was available.Table, chairs, hairdryer! Unfortunately no safe. The bathroom was clean, otherwise, we found a couple of memorabilia from our predecessors on the floor ..., but you could ignore that. Special highlight the free parking in the underground car park. At the reception one receives a parking permit, the car must be visible to you. Breakfast is included in the room rate, consists of coffee, tea, pastries and a few sweet fruit. For the start into the day the was completely enough. The breakfast is served at the lobby, there was only a couch and a chair to sit on, but it was not an issue, we took our breakfast directly with the car. A PC with free internet access is available in the lobby. The hotel also has a small roof terrace, from which one had a beautiful view of the golden Gate has. The view from our room on a totally compensated wall ☺ All in all the hotel is for the price and performance was absolutely top. read more

We arrived in San Francisco was the motel search going on. The third and last coupon for The Buena Vista motor inn. We paid 80 $(three) for a good, clean room. Furthermore, there was free parking in the underground car park (close) admitted. The next day we had to check out by twelve o 'clock, but were allowed to keep the car until 15 o' clock, great service, if you have the parking in San Francisco is familiar.
The sights can be ended, in ten minutes you are at the Lombard street, 20 minutes to Fisherman's Wharf.

Per: Lombard street-sensational price! Walking distance to fisherman's warf, public bus is around the corner, free underground garage (very tight, but we got assistance at the valet parking). In the room there was no refrigerator but free ice cream parlors in the hallway Pender, to fill the Storoporkühlbox very convenient. Breakfast included, but it is in the tiny lobby improvised: juice, coffee from the dispenser plus fruit and sweet pastries/junk pieces. Hardly any place to sit, but you can get into the conversation, if you want to have better, just out of the breakfast, it was okay for us. Three ... people in the room just a little more expensive than 2.
Nearby: supermarket about 1 kilometer, Thai restaurant and steak about 300m
Cons: really, as you ultimately the price is not the Hilton gets. Room was at the back, but it was the cheapest room category. Room was not very large.
Recommendation: for travel start here I would not take a rental car at the airport (it is city offices nearby of the hotel), you can go in for. Lombardstr Gabriele, with much better public transport with the city. Of 49 miles drive, we have a car, was a diversion, this day was wasted total, was not worth it for the few spots. read more
