6 stars are actually not.
Although the other lodges all were good, so it was the by far the best.
The lodge consists of huts, on a large very well maintained Areal are spread out. The paths to the huts ( we had once again one of the back) were acceptable.
All very clean and well-kept.
During the day we saw giraffes and waterbucks on the complex. The waterbucks, except for 5 meters ran-then run away.
On foot at lake naivasha go - however only until o'clock. Then you have to go back to hut, because the hippos from the ... water come.
As soon as it is dark, you should only in monitoring from hotel staff outside move-the hippos are not completely harmless. The hippos you can at night really great from the room see.
Really big pool area. read more

Lake Naivasha sopa lodge was great. The complex is simple just perfect. On the large lawn in front of the bungalows was lots of animals and in the evening the Hippos. It was simply great. We would also like to 2 days on our Safaritripp spent. The food was fantastic, the people are super nice and the rooms were almost palaces. We felt very much at ease there. There was almost in front of our door Giraffes. The optional excursion to Naivashasee with flamingos and Nilpferden was also very nice. It was sometimes quiet as otherwise on our safari. Oh ... still a note, it is good Keniaschillinge to have, since one comes with most, so no Euro and no Dollar. We were in any case super happy so many Hippos so close to see, and of course the other animals also, just brilliant! read more

As fourth stop on our safari and on the way in the Masai Mara we have in the Naivasha sopa lodge for one night a stop over. Unfortunately we are late afternoon arrived, so that we the comfort of wonderful and comfortable complex not at all really use. The hotel is located on a very large and really great neat complex, with very nice and Nobel furnished second geschosssigen bungalows near the lake Naivasha. In the nearby environment we could on foot many buffaloes, on lake Hippos and on the grounds Giraffes from next proximity see. In the evening people ... the buffaloes the garden area in Bungalowrondell. The Hippos in the light of dawn directly at the complex, a very nice experience. The bungalows offer all imaginable comfort, are very big and massive, chic designed bathrooms. The furnishings were very high quality and everything was absolutely clean. Equally Posh is the lodge and the restaurant furnished. The gastronomische supply is very good and the service staff extremely friendly and attentive. A longer stay would be pleasant. Because of the short time we have beautiful pool area not at all met. Wi-Fi is in the area of the lodge free of charge available, for the bungalows currently in preparation. read more

We have 7-days during our safari a nights in this beautiful Lodge spent.
on the way from amboseli in the Masai Mara we stayed at this lodge a stopover pickled.
the area is very extensive. On the grounds is a large herd of giraffes horses and some water around. This can be very short walking distance. Also plenty of monkeys floats your nonsense on the premises. Evenings you can still only visit if accompanied by guides on the railing around, because the transportation of lake Naivasha to graze on the side of the premises will be.
the hotel is very ... well maintained, the rooms absolute extra class, the food top and the pool was super refreshing. read more

The garden area with plants this massive stock (huge trees, cacti, etc.) was a real dream. Very well maintained and the views of the animals (monkeys, giraffes) which bustles during the day a unique experience. We were all around very content. We were impressed by the size of the room and the huge Windows (similar to a winter garden). Some years the bathroom, this would do with a renovation. At dusk, there is a security service, as at night in the area are transportation, as we could see. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The pool ... (clean and well maintained) we didn't use because of the nice weather. Highly recommended is a boat ride, you can get close to the birds up (especially the many pelicans), to cresent Island, we have a 'foot Safari', the animals are used to visit, it was a bit scary how close the zebras, Antilopen, water bearers and giraffes can be found. The lodge and we generally the area around the lake is highly recommended-a garden 'Eden'! read more

Large hotel area. We stayed here on our way to the Masai Mara in amboseli a stopover. The property is very spacious and has a large planted with trees garden. During the day you can walk there (maybe 20 minutes for one round). We stayed on our walk water bucks and a giraffe in about ten meters away-great experience. In the evening you can still only visit if accompanied by guards back to the room, since the hippos from lake Naivasha to graze on the premises will be. We have seen more than one right under our window. read more

We have the stay in this nearly luxurious appeared Lodge so much enjoyed, the optional offered bus- trip to the lake not at all used.
Instead we have on the terrace our room really relaxed. Because the view to the garden area was indescribable. It was waterbucks, giraffes, monkeys, etc. Watch. The pretty room was huge, there were two King-size beds, a large bath, a desk.
After the 'recovery phase' on the terrace we have at the front desk a free guide ordered, with the we by the complex to the lake are walked. On the way we have a ... Büffelherde and Zebraherde observed, also many pretty Kingfishers and pelicans on the banks. And evenings also the Hippos from the lake the complex. Since this is really the most dangerous animals of Buschs belong, we have the Council of the front desk accepted and also here a guide called, the US restaurant brought.
Should be emphasized also the gastronomy. As almost everywhere indian style, but very varied and tasty. read more

Best lodge on our Safari

It was the best on our Safari lodge. Here we would like to see a little longer. On a very large areal, are the main building and several bungalows (four units), which typically African style built and almost luxurious are equipped. Very worth seeing is a cactus forest in front of the entrance of the main house. These were partly over 200 years cacti old and partly on 20M high. Beautiful pool landscape, unfortunately the water was quite cold. The only drawback was, that you have your bungalow in the darkness only leave or of security coming could come, because ... in the evening and in the night from the nearby lake horses in the complex and that be dangerous. On the other hand, is however also worth seeing and interesting. We have seen in the evening two hippos and could see the next morning on the basis of traces of vomit, that this to the bungalows to grass to eat. read more

The hotel consists of a large park, which extends to the lake. There hippos, different species of birds and water horses watching. Despite the many rooms the complex seems very spacious and not crowded. Not least because of the nice designed cottages in the park.
Horse riding, tennis court and gym available. read more

Great lodge, wonderful laid out, with super friendly staff. We are all smoking and on this evening it was cold and rained. So we were equipped very friendly a small corner fireplace and on it didn't bother us at this vast area none of the other guests.
The food was great, in buffet form, good quality. The rooms were clean and nicely equipped (safety deposit box, tv).
Lake Naivasha sopa lodge in liked it really, for us was the best lodge on the safari. read more

Sopa Chain. luxurious, wonderful and in excellent condition.
I can only recommend this lodge. In the countryside, wonderful large lodges. I recommend to take a room downstairs. You can walk right into the garden and giraffes and zebras are nearby. In the night are transportation and eat the grass. I have three in the morning even seen. You just have to look out the window.
Food was delicious. The only downside is the smoke from the opened fireplaces. the bites a little in the eyes.
Pool is large, but in need of renovation. Kenyan were just at work. I thought ... that was very good. read more
