Great old hotel in the middle of town, you feel in Kolumbus times back, some sights in the district on foot to explore. Shopping options rather bad. Taxis very expensive, for those wishing to drive very chaotic to reach. read more

Very beautiful hotel directly in the center the Ciudad colonial. A street away from the El Conde, the most famous shopping area in Santo Domingo, with many souvenir stores, shoe and clothes shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is run by a German led. The inner courtyard of the hotel was very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and spoke English at the front desk. If you by car arrive, you can directly hotel's own parking garage. The room was big and very nicely furnished. Cleanliness was great, too the bathroom. Safety deposit box is available in the hotel ... large built-in cupboard and free of charge. Breakfast included, which was adequate and was very tasty. We didn't use the pool. For a city trip to Santo Domingo is the hotel in any case very recommendable. Had no reason to complain. read more
