Hotel Paris^{(3 stars)}

This was discussed in the first question. All imenities were clean and spotless.

We only ate breakfast at the hotel because we were on the go most of the time. In the evening, it was a relaxing time with a few drinks or beer which was available at the outdoor bar. The prices were reasonable. The tables and chairs in the area were we ate was clean and the air was fresh being outdoors.

My son and I were impressed with the friendliness of the owner and his family and assisted us in providing transportation in a few instances. He has knowledge of the English language and communicated with us and his other renters quite well. My son who is able to communicate in German, Norweigan and French was very pleased to converse with others in their own language. The garden area was the place where we got together in the evening. Found that some of the others there were repeat visitors to the hotel.

This hotel did not have Sports, a Pool or Entertainment.

Room was very clean and dusted. Air conditioning was available and working. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was in the garden area where we had access to talk to others from various countries. Garden was very neat and unique. Bar in the garden area allowed us to chat with others in the evening. Owners bent over backwards to please us and also drove us outside of the old city. The hotel reminded us of a bed & breakfast where it was like living in your own home. I would go there again at the drop of a hat if at all possible. It was in a quiet area and many of the people were seniors.

The hotel is located within the Old Walled City of Rhodes where much history is relived when walking through the streets. It is very quiet at the location of the hotel. A short walk away there are many various shops for perusing. Rubber soled shoes or sneakers should be used to walk through most of the streets because they are made of rounded stone in cement. Restaurants are plentiful in the Old Town also. The airport is about 20 minutes to the hotel and has a reasonable fare. Many scenic areas are on the island, such as Kamiros which goes back to the B. C.'s. Renting of an automobile will allow you to see the island in a day or two. Take a camera. It is a place that you will not see too often in other lands.
