The hotel has our expectations vollentsprochen and we would book immediately again. Very friendly and helpful staff. The service was great. Rooms spacious and clean. The food always best quality and very tasteful. Very convenient for a quiet and relaxing vacation for relaxing. Nice that there was no entertainment there. read more

Great hotel for quiet beach vacation. Here you can read, in the sun are. No animation, no children, only peace. In the at the end of january, beginning february was only about 30 guests. An almost family-run hotel with 67 rooms. A little gem among the oases on the red sea. Almost all rooms have a wonderful view of the well-kept garden and a private beach. No hotel in common sense with a lobby like a small cathedral, whose rooms at superimposed corridors are located next to each other. No interior dining rooms with long selbstbedienungstresen. But an approach quite different nature. The center the resort is a 3-story, perhaps a pyramid nachempfundenes building nestled in a split-level area. This building with large terrace on the first floor (restaurant a la carte) and 2. ... floor (bar) with a magnificent view over the pool on the red sea. Alone this perspective is a real treat. To both sides in 3 stages the bungalows in a very well maintained garden parallel to the beach nestled. The access to the very spacious room was the terrace (mostly with a view of the sea) instead of. - as an area for desired improvements: - would be the provision by the travel agency offered inclusive achievement ' half hour free availability of wireless to mention. Like many other guests we already intend our next holiday in this comfortable oasis. - the cleaning and hygiene in the restaurant is excellent. - egyptian cuisine very delicious. - all-inclusive plus: there are no further costs. For the first time in shams prestige resort, but definitely not the last time. We were more than thrilled. The whole really impressed us, the staff were always friendly and accommodating. The selection of drinks and food was plentiful and very tasty, we very much enjoyed the proportion of egyptian dishes. One small downside, what we have with the guest relations manager Katja discussed, access to the internet should be considered. read more

We yesterday 15 january after a week shams prestige reluctantly go back home! For the next year already the vacation planned and it is this wonderful hotel his! The staff's hospitality in every area the hotel is unbeatable and with the food we were in any case no matter wether breakfast, lunch or dinner very satisfied. Small but sweet. We really enjoyed it and would gladly go there again. There were about 35 guests. We had the 3. row upstairs 1 with a magnificent view of the sea. An incredible great vacation! In this hotel can unwind, as everyone is very concerned, every possible request to fulfill. I would in the room selection in any case Superior and on the top floor book. Very convenient to chill out and relax, everything very clean, quiet comfortably furnished. Huge stable sunbeds at the pool and the beach with thick cushions. Because of the all-inclusive you can almost around the clock drinks. Generally there are lunch and dinner à la carte. Next to it is a still an egyptian, as well as a salad and dessert buffet available. For breakfast are omelets, scrambled and fried eggs freshly prepared. All dishes were nicely arranged and very tasty. Conclusion: if you didn't find anything here, it is your own fault!

    The staff is always friendly and tried the guests a great vacation to give. A communication in german and english is possible. Should this not be the case, then the german guest Katja gladly further. The rooms are cleaned daily. It is a nice decoration from towels not forget. The beach towels are changed every day. Really can only be recommended! Whoever is looking for peace and quiet is here at the right address. We have never had such a polite and friendly staff had., no matter wether the gardener, the room staff, front desk, kitchen, waiter. Always friendly and accommodating! Thank you very much again to Katja ( the german guest relations manager) for tips and help! We will not be our last time there have been! Really beautiful rooms and spacious bath. We really liked the food even if it not always very hot, but this seems probably something typical of the country to ... be.     We had a superior room and this was his money in any case worth. Next to the better position than the standard rooms (first and 2. number, all with a view of the sea) have them all on a lovely terrace with a hot tub, as well as a walk-in closet, a king-size bed and a bathroom, the toilet and shower are spatially separated.

    The hotel has officially over 1 restaurant, however, in theory the two sister hotel next door can be used. Officially the speisenkonzept afternoons and evenings à-la-carte. At the beginning of our stay, as the hotel not yet was full, it was implemented, only salad and dessert were as a buffet available. As the hotel for christmas slowly filled, was at noon the à la carte approach by an egyptian buffet supplemented, then (unfortunately) also the dinner. In other words: mostly, there was only an à la carte and the altrnative (the mostly egyptian menu) was buffet style replaced. This is where it is a pity that the peaceful atomsphere, the the pure à la carte was a little it lost went and the usual tourists buffet-run began. Moreover, there were the dishes at the buffet often only lukewarm and at least at 9 (the restaurant has officially until 10 hours) was not refilled and the live cooking (for example hot dessert) set. Is really a bit sad, because otherwise would the hotel really the full points here deserves. A special compliment goes at this point still the kitchen for the christmas menu: an 8-course menu, the left no wishes unfulfilled and in spite of the fact, that almost 140 guests catered for to, very quiet, orderly and enjoyable.

    Rarely experienced one in Egypt such pleasant and courteous staff. From a friendly check-in, on always well gelaunte cleaning staff to always nice cooks and waiters you around spoiled. Beach towels, for example, must never be fetched, but a young man looks past evening and change this on request from. A team consisting of 2 nice men looks daily in the evening, in order to check, whether the mini bar sufficiently filled and the towels the bathroom sufficient are; nobody is in the room, are also the beds directly turned down. Short : the service is a star hotel really worthy.

    There is no entertainment, but you can if necessary the entertainment in the neighboring hotel use. The same also applies to the beautiful, well-kept spa area, as well as the fitness center. But it is a pity, that otherwise the sports area really nothing at all offered: no kayaks, no catamaran, no courses... For kite surfers and surfers the hotel is a dream (if it's because wind), as at the beach on the left you will see the station from skyriders and righthand (3 minutes walk) the club mistral-wind surf station. Umbrellas and beach chairs are more than enough, but it does the typical tourist of course not from early in the morning ' his' liege to reserve.

    Shams prestige is some metres south of the Soma Bay and must respect its section official abu soma call, since Soma Bay a registered trade mark. On fine sand and shallow water does however nothing. :-) Until to the airport with separately bookable transfers only 35-40 minutes and definitely recommendable, if you take the 'large city tour' of almost 2 hours give me.

We really liked the hotel. Very much staff made sometimes rather for a bit messy, but probably for Egypt typical. All very friendly and accommodating. Please however not always with the german precision compare. Quality and preparation of the food was always reasonable especially at christmas and new year there was a delicious gala dinner. A hotel this quality but a free wi-fi area, this the guests also contact with the outside world can. With wi-fi access is in the hotel description advertised, but per week 70 € costs, is anywhere. Alltogether a very nice hotel with great sandy beach. ... For snorkelling great. It is in the bathing area beautiful corals to see, where tons of colorful fishes stop. read more
