Wow, the service is great: a uniformed front desk clerk opens the door of the taxis and helpful the luggage against. Through the elegant lobby bar is to the front desk, i quickly and uncomplicated check in. I'm already, the evening with a drink at the bar off and bestaune briefly the enormous blumengebinde, before i move on to the very beautiful room gegletet will, in the every day fresh flowers! Think not at all because, a windows open, finally, are you in the heart of London and only a couple of minutes from the offices of the city in ... one direction and the theatres of the westend in the other.
Before i pass the outrageously expensive, but very delicious breakfast to the room will leave, i am still some trains in the pool drag, rated as one of the most beautiful pools, i know. Or they had already repeatedly opportunity, in a pool with underwater music to swim?
The dinner is also for london very expensive, but also delicious, served on a tray with white tablecloth and a fresh Blume - very attentive. read more

430 Euro per night for a standard double - certainly we were in London, but all in all but not the highlight. The room is newly renovated, but on closer inspection you see clearly that it was an old building. The windows old and leaky, so that the next morning was fogged up everything and you had no view. The view from the six floor unfortunately then fell on the construction site to the house opposite. Loveless, but at least competent check in - child was not handled at all. Location of the hotel as an exit for a city ... trip was very good - easy access to the main stops. A highlight was the breakfast. Not a buffet, everything is ordered - a huge lucky that this arrangement was included, otherwise you will indeed a micro-credit. Overall, like everything in London, this hotel excellent value, didn't our expectations on every level. If you have to work hard for your money you should head for an alternatve before booking or better don't only traveling to London, where a for bad food, metro, taxi, sightseeing, service and so on. The money as sand by the finger rinnt. read more

We stayed over New Year's Eve 2009 at One Aldwych. The hotel is in a great location, right near Covent Garden, Waterloo Bridge, about ten minutes walk away from Trafalgar Square. Buses stop right in front of the hotel, the metro station is also very near. The hotel was certainly not cheap, facilities, service, friendliness justify this but. We had a "studio suite" with a fold away single bed in the 3 Floor, the big enough for 3 people. A special mention is the good sound-proofing and exterior as well as at the other rooms. Every wish was fulfilled, whether ... from us or only" commented on anticipated'". The concierge can arrange tickets for musicals were, even though we had tell that the idea was sold out. Our daughter was sick - when the staff this noticed someone brought a small cake with fruit and Genesungswünschen from chocolate was delivered to my room. They apologized immediately without asking for a later than usual occured room cleaning Highly recommended for families! read more
