We were as always very satisfied in the Hotel Adler. Since my wife severely disabled is, and i have stayed at 'the old', it is always harder the lots of stairs to climb. An elevator would be in adler urgent from emergencies, as we have seen, in our travel time also lots of guests in our age were present. Our room, and the view from the balcony in the direction park and mountains gave us but for the arduous' rise ' always rewarded.
Less we were pleased with the menu. Not, that we were not happy, the food was very ... good and sufficient. But we have the experience, that there will be no afternoon menu was. Since we mostly lunch warm had eaten, we wanted to in the evening only a small something, for example a vesper. This was however nil return. Only after we with the waiters, and this then of the kitchen negotiations had, we got our vespers (1 few sausage/bread/mustard and 1 times cheesebread). But when it came to the honour of our vespers went (30,00 Euro for 2 vesper and 2 drinks), we have decided, also the dinner competition drives.
In general however we were again very pleased, and also felt again really very well. We have in Oberstdorf in the Hotel Adler again wonderful days spent, and our 'battery' something can recharge. That was the purpose of our trip, and that's why we were very satisfied, despite minor 'quirks'. read more

The hotel lies directly at the start the pedestrian precinct and is good by car and public transportation to reach. The rooms were partly newly renovated ( I had one with great modern bathroom) and are provided with all over flatscreen tv and free safe. Food was fine, but there are plenty of alternative nearby. The hotel is family-run and the staff all very nice. Breakfast buffet rich with everything the heart desires. My room -with large sunny balcony and chairs had a fantastic view of the center, mountains and ski jump. Note to the previous review: if you are ... on churches (writes one without 'SCH') and their bells-the in the remaining Turned off at night-mind, you should probably better not to Bayern go. read more

Hotel with very good kitchen and allgäu fler, due to the central location ideal for people who like to shop. Good starting point for hikes,
The nebelhorn, Mingolf and golf course nearby.
Price/performance ratio was very good. read more
