The hotel has as some of the few hotels in this price range a pleasant spa area with a pool and sauna. For this the location is not the best: to the center it is a good walk. read more

Really suitable hotel for a city trip. To the city center circa 15 to 20 minutes footpath. Access to the airport perfect (by the bus station about ten minutes ). Very clean hotel, also the bathroom. What great people mind, is the shower in the bath tub. read more

For a city break unsuitable!
25 minutes on foot the district Temple Bar, good 15 minutes by sightseeing bus. 20 minutes by taxi to the airport
No wide choice at the breakfast buffet
On the day of departure a wake-up call-not!
The rooms to the street side are at night very from noise from the street affected.
You can every car hear (was on the third floor) and sometimes people the on foot passed laugh and so on
-very unpleasant. Apparently zuschlechte window built up, these were not close, it also moved.

The hotel lies not super central, the town center is however with a small walk easy to reach. Furthermore there are a lot of Stops nearby. Furniture and catering in the hotel are top, value for money is fair. read more

In the Docklands, with leisure centre.

Location: in the center from Dublin in the Docklands area. Airlink bus 747 from/to the airport stops at the convention center, about hundred meters distant (on the other Side of the river Liffey). Various venues( fair, theater, Musicals, shows) in the immediate proximity are comfortable easy to reach on foot.
ambience and facilities: the front desk and lobby is surprisingly simple and small. Therefor there is a large bar with live sport on flatscreen. Internet stations with printer against payment( coin-op machine), Wi-Fi in the public and DSL connection through existing cable in the room free, the performance is usable. ... The restaurant stir in the mezzanine offers a sufficient number of high quality dishes à la carte to be fair prices. The leisure center( indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room) in the basement is convenient and pleasant. Note: bathing cap obligation (purchase on site possible). The rooms are quiet, there is a smoking floor.
price performance ratio: is true.
quality: for Anglo-Saxon proportions all in all pleasing above average. read more

beautiful hotel in a central location in Dublin, at the river Liffey. All sights easily accessible on foot. About 10 minutes on foot to get to the very best to Temple bar- overall evenings. Staff the hotel was very competent, also very good foreign languages skills, waiting in the restaurant understood not even the drinks order in English Language. Breakfast buffet bad in relation to variety, quality and speed the replenishing the food (it was impression: the kitchen staff sleep even). The food in the evening 'rather good'. If Dublin explore and nevertheless quiet stay, was well cared for here. ... A typical Irish pub is only 20 meters away. If you want to experience life and bars night, go to Temple bar. read more

We were with a bus and have a night spent than wait for the ferry to England. Therefor the hotel is very good. The service staff were mostly apprentices and corresponding incorrect. A typical meeting and mass tourism-Hotel. But very clean and modern (in other words: impersonal).
Is however absolutely recommendable. read more

Good hotel on the waterfront

The hotel is on the waterfront, so away from the tourist activity and therefore also away from the good bus connections and shopping options. A musical theater is located diagonally opposite. On the other side of the river is the new congress center, which is beautifully illuminated. There is a bar close by. The hotel was originally designed as an office. The rooms are nice and large, and well equipped. I didn't use the pool in the basement. Breakfast is extensive and well presented. Travelers from continental Europe should definitely bring a plug adapter. The hotel sells them, otherwise it ... can be expensive to buy them locally. read more

The hotel is relatively new and very big. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Generally one could say that the hotel is very clean. In the hotel there is a great Italian restaurant/bar, which we didn't test. There was the possibility to eat at the hotel in the evening, if you don't want to eat in the city. read more

The room was beautiful and the mattresses were firm enough. It was clean and the hand towels were changed every day. The breakfast was good if one was a fan of sausages, bacon and other nutritious food. My husband had bad luck, he just wanted soft-boiled eggs and during the week they were unfortunately offered twice. There were many tour groups there from all over Europe. read more

The Maldron Hotel was a great hotel in a very clean and well-kept condition. Everything was very clean and modern. The tourists came from everywhere. However, we often heard German. The hotel was located on a very busy road. We had our room on the 5th floor with balcony. In the afternoon or evening it was very loud and sometimes smelled unpleasant from exhaust fumes when the balcony door was open. If it was closed, it was relatively still, with good soundproof. read more
