Is a hotel, which from the outside actually okay appears, not too big and not too small. I think 8 floors. The condition is in an old and in need of renovation condition. The lobby, (with two correspondents, were apparently at the same time another hotel or property) resembles a receiving office for refugees, asylum-seekers and so on since would you love already again go. Lift doors were not immediately to see, since the doors as old, colored planks of wood looked. Check out after a night read hotel review

First room had a window to the backyard (as all rooms), but a Ziegelmauer the gap of about 50 centimeters before it had. ( move) The second room had even window without a wall. Size of the room very small, which actually not a problem for us. Beds were an iron rack with mattress, the second bed was a fold-out sofa, which daruntergeschoben was. Bed sheet were not very clean, the cushions covered with our towels and presented with Ekelgedanken reluctantly for sleeping purely. Heating was not to be adjustable, window was not close (between air conditioning and window was a inch wide Schlitz. TV was not functional. But we had a fridge and a microwave the room which we never used it could (disgust). Bathroom was the room, was very small. Shower in the bath tub (decor felt 100 years old) shower curtain massive dirty, warm water came after 5 einminütigem walk of the water. Would such a room as a degrading classified. Have no further night to stay there. Move in another hotel.

the room was good... we had two large beds, you should not too often turn, because otherwise the roommate wake up, but otherwise very comfortable. What was very merry, was the Einschlagfolie around the mattresses ( against bed bugs). the bathroom was not the newest, but we had our own shower and toilet and also clean. There was a built-in cupboard and two small drawers, a TV and even a small fridge, for beverages or fruit. the air conditioning is a little noisy, so dear in open window sleep and the climate is during the day turn on.

To cleaning of the rooms you could hang a sign on the door, but we had always the feeling, that, even if we no sign attached had, cleaned. Small tip, always some tip on the bed leave. the staff were also always friendly. the only thing, which perhaps something exaggerated was, were the overpriced prices for the internet, thus rather a cafe visit, or with I-phone... drops you into a Starbucks, you have free internet access.

the location is excellent. We needed only a couple of minutes the flat iron and Empire State Building is just around the corner. Simply super... A subway station is also just a few strides away and right on the corner of the hotel there is a ausgenzeichneten deli... you should definitely time at the buffet austobben , very delicious and the price is also reasonable.

We stayed a week at the Latham hotel in NYC. The hotel is suitable really only to sleep, though you can get. the rooms are completely white with white linoleum and a fluorescent lamp on the ceiling, in short: uncomfortable it is hardly (and that was the pictures on the internet not shown). Not to mention the view from the window -unless, you will find the wall of the neighboring house in 40 centimeter distance great. The bathroom with the tub (as extra you could rent) was very small and seemed quite worn out. the rooms are equipped with a ... air conditioning, the one at the days by, if you aren't there, since the noise very annoying is. the furnishing is rather Spartan, the double size bed one can also save (reminded us of a hospital bed from the three ziger). Unfortunately found several hairs of' previous tenants' on the sheets, which disgusting was. The mandatory cockroach also long wait. all together the hotel is very dark and shabby. You need to take into consideration the location but. You are really in the heart of life. To time Square it is about 15 minutes on foot, a deli around the corner (CAFE 28) invites you to eat- around the hour. read hotel review

For a city break we would recommend staying at this hotel. It was absolutely appropriate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok in terms of size, as you didn't sit in the room all day. The bed was the first thing we checked on arrival, we had large fear bed bugs: ) But we were not angeknabbert. Fortunately, there were no were so there. We were able to open the window in the bathroom, I don't like it, if you don't fresh air. The bathroom was small, it was totally enough. There were hand towels and beach ... towels changed daily and clean. The elevator worked only when we arrived at night, then the whole week not more, but that did not matter so much that the freight elevator of the hotel was used - you had to ring a bell and you were picked up on the floor and drove up and down. We were on the top floor on the 13th (PH) floor, it is probably the floor where the single parents Mamas again. Unfortunately, that was in the middle of the night sometimes a little noisy as the phone herumgeturnt (the word fuck-was very often hear it; -)) but really annoying I found that's not, by our long walks I was broken, so that I slept in The best thing is the location of the hotel, right in the middle of everything. The Empire State Building is a 5 -minute walk to, the Flatiron Building in 3 minutes and distance to Time Square only about 15 mins walk. The Subwaystation is about a 2 minute walk away. Everything was right nearby. I'd suggest the cafe for breakfast 28 - right on the corner. The breakfast is great - you get a large coffee and much more. Have fun in New York we wish you. It is definitely worth a visit. read hotel review

For a few days at the hotel New York is highly recommended. The location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building. Metro stations are also several around the corner. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. As we had booked without catering, we went for breakfast in the surrounding areas in the local cafes and bistros. No problem at all. read hotel review

The hotel is very centrally located. about 5 minutes to the Empire State Building, 15 -20 minutes to Time Square. Just around the corner is the Café 28, where you can sit for breakfast and shopping. The check-in was very smooth, the staff (especially at the front desk) is very rude. The bathroom is small, but it was enough, sometimes it is difficult as it is often occupied. The rooms are with, air-conditioning, sink, towels, tv, dresser, is more than enough for a few days, as you need the room except to sleep. The room I would definately not stay ... here again. read hotel review

Basic hotel in a great location. In 3-4 minutes walk to the Empire State Building, or the Flatiron BIULDING on the Fifth Ave. 2 Minutes to the nearest Metro (subway station). The rooms are quite small and sparse: double bed, TV, air-conditioning, sink, chest of drawers, wardrobe. We took a room without an ensuite bathroom (which means shared bathroom). Those who needed luxury this is not the place. The bathrooms were very spacious, could be cleaner(I have been to New York experienced better). Plus they were very very often occupied, so you had to watch the floors including or above ... the bathroom was available. Per floor only one bathroom, which is very little. We stayed in the 3 Floor and had to until eight high where we found a free bathroom. The hotel is a refuge in the upper floors. But it didn't bother us in the least. The hotel offers only night no breakfast. Good breakfast in the cafe 28 (28st corner of 5th Ave) at the gourmet deli. Good and cheap-everything the heart could desire. If you only a cheap place to crash and not looking to spend was well cared for here. Alternatively, I could recommend the hotel 31. As the bathrooms a little better. But otherwise different hotels. Both are almost next to each other. Oh yes before I'll forget it. This is a non-smoking hotel, like most hotels in New York. As a tip, I have added East/West and Greenwich Village to anyone. Who wants to know the really NYC life should be properly time for these parts in Lower Manhattan. read hotel review

Having reached the top wait a little spartan furnished room on the hotel guests. The queensize bed is standard and good enough, there is a TV, a small air conditioning in the window and good abdunkelnde curtains. But they weren't really necessary, as the windows lead to a Häuserschlucht, and it is quite dark anyway. put on some light is therefore must", if you want to see. There is also a tiny pantry ourselves. We didn't use but rather and instead lived out of our suitcase. Here there was a clothes hangers and plumbing the thereby lost spoke for themselves. In the room there was a mirror, the wife as positive. In the bathroom depends on a second in a Waschschrank, white decor and well-kept see it almost nobel. The bath is, as for New York typical, overall with a shower curtain. The rails, the it ourselves, should better not too coarse touch, there is Kippgefahr. The shower head is but nice high and you can ample shower. The toilet was clean and firm, so no cigarette butts or similar. Unfortunately, there were a few towel rack. Beware of the bedroom window. NOT open! Or just a, us is a pgieon flew into the BATHROOM. Does not hard to find, as the exterior window sill quite verkackt looked. One final recommendation 2kg: bring slippers, because the carpet not more the newest and I personally think it is very unhygienic to walk on. And keep the door closed because it's on the hallway but time very stringent can smell - in the room is but everything was ok. The "cleaning ladies make a good job!

The location is in New York can be crucial and here the hotel points. Right on the 5th Avenue can eat, drink and shopping. You want to Times Square is a 15 -minute walk to control. Central for the price you can hardly stay in Manhattan. A supermarket is right on the corner and to the nightlife of the old butcher-district with a taxi we have about 10 dollars (approx. 15 blocks). At night it is safe and there are a few bars in the immediate vicinity. Despite this, it is quiet and you can sleep. The subway station is also in 2 minutes (subway) and that is New York anyway number 1 the transport.

The hotel is simply decorated. There are 12 floors. At each floor level there is a "public bathroom with toilet and shower. When we were there, were all the framework of doors and passages recently painted, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Wheelchair accessible would be the hotel itself not bad, as there is a normal operated roller blinds lift and one where such a Elevator boy served. Corridors are wide enough, the bathroom is definitely on our floor (9 ) very large, so as easily fit in a wheelchair, and the rooms were a little small and cramped ..., but it would go. During our Aufzugfahrten, we met mostly families with small children, strollers, partly older and partly younger couples. So everything was represented. The hotel offers only no possibility, so this is a mini minor inconvenience. In the way of daily cleaned, we weren't entirely satisfied. The carpet in the room did not look like it be vacuumed. Whether he time vaccumed, can we can't comment on, we didn't from the maintenance staff: ) As we only used it to sleep got into the room and it was that we didn't matter too much as the beds were clean and no stains or hair from the previous guest. read hotel review

We had a room with a "Double bed". This is a mattress about 1.20- 1 .30m broad and 2 meters long. There was a small sink with a small Spiegelhängeschränkchen and a small cupboard under the pool. Then there was a large chest of drawers, with 4 (or 5 )large drawers and on it was a big TV. There was also a small bedside table with drawers and a heating but right next to the bed is available right in your face and a probably heats up ... We were in June so she was not. So it is with the face heat only suspicions. The windows did not open, since an air-conditioning was appropriate. The could really good and cool quickly make, but we made you to sleep. She jumped but still always again, we guessed that the thing to a little ventilate automatically regardless ... No idea, we definitely get woke up, especially if it rained the air conditioning was really noisy ... (HAIL it was not that we could have stayed at the weather News notice). So, it is a major downside of the room. The sleep it was getting stuffier and you could hardly sleep soundly, as the AC and jumped. But besides the AC no one heard from next door. Only if someone in the hall was and the door to the bathroom and clapping, it sounded like you; ) The TV program is only American, but we found very entertaining. In the morning, watch the New York-they had breakfast TV blaring out and watch the weather forecast to find out which personalities in New York (where Barack Obama, Prince Harry, Lionel Richie). The "public bathroom" is very spacious. A toilet, a shower, a very large sink, a window to the open and a lot of space to drying yourself or anything else. Also a large wall mirror is advisable. Towels are changed daily, even when they weren't on the floor, as I have had partly have had at any hotel that you only got fresh towels if they lay on the floor. A hair dryer you had to take a hair dryer and make sure that it is the about 120V. We had such a practical Reiseföhn because you from ad €9 ,= on 115V. Our room had a view of the courtyard. However, because this is no noise or any other disadvantages used. Like, and we were only at night and in the morning we were there, was the view from the hotel windows won't even care. I think the only important when you stay on the sea: D but not in Manhattan.

The hotel staff is very very friendly, and when we had questions they were always ready to us in detail it to explain everything we would like to know. On the day of arrival we were first with the one of 2 lifts, only by the Elevator boy can be served on our floor and delivered to the room. We'd look at us and say whether it is ok or if we want a different. Only then, we paid $900 about. So we paid about 940 $ for 8 nights, that are about 90 euro per day. The front desk is open 24 hours. You can leave the key, it must not. The rooms were cleaned every day, which means new towels, new soap/sink was cleaned with the covers and sheets were smooth painted properly and arranged. You usually $1 per person tip which we just on our pillows. Upon departure, we requested a shuttle to JFK, but $20 per person. We took the cheaper option with the metro with a total by Metrocard $2 and $5 airtran JFK.

Right on the corner 28th street, 5th Avenue is a Art supermarket (slightly more expensive), with a great breakfast and main meals offer. Also in the upper floor and offers at three computer, which we also liked to use as the hotel had no computers. A block away, you are on Broadway and if you on the way to right up look out and see the Empire State Building between the houses watch out. Parking is in Manhattan very expensive, there is parking outside in front of the hotel but only those along the road. If you do go to NY I thought not drive. It is only a bit stressful in rush hour move forward, there are mostly one-way streets, the it is probably easier or difficult to get to the target and if you are on the objective, parking a winning the lottery. By bus and metro subway is easy, fast and easy drive from. (7 Day pass $25 -> thumbs up) from the hotel to the airport is about 1 hour drive with the metro.

The hotel and the room was very basic but clean. The location is great. 5 Minutes to Flatiron and 5 minutes to the Empire State Building. We were definitely recommend very pleased and would definately recommend this hotel to. Just be careful that you get a room with private bath. There is also bathrooms in the hallway. There is also a shelter, didn't bother us because you not much easier. read hotel review

The hotel is very basic and the bathroom was across the hall, a shared bathroom for about 8 people. Despite the or shared bathrooms with the bathroom was always clean and everything was always like the shampoo and soap were available. We had a double room with sink, so that one could still good ready when it traffic in the bath. The only downside to the hotel was the old heaters, the partly shrill whistles. But we were out all day so it didn't bother us and we still get falling asleep. The hotel is for people who want to ... see much of the city absolutely perfect because it is just around the corner from the Empire State Building. Underground station is around the corner and also very good breakfast can be near the hotel! read hotel review

We hadn't booked meals. But directly next to the hotel there is a breakfast restaurant, that great bagels and muffins!

The staff was friendly and the check-in went without any problems. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. On the day of departure we could store our luggage until evening, as our flight was not until late. We were able to enjoy day still in New York.

Who demands, in this hotel, we didn't really. The property is simple but clean. The staff was nice. The big bonus, the central location near the 5th Avenue and the nearby subway station. We didn't miss a restaurant, as at the end of the street is a good self-service restaurant "Café 28" (with internet café) is. In summary, we enjoyed our New York-stay and would choose this hotel again. read hotel review
