Pleasant hotel in a peaceful location in the center before Zermatt. Only few minutes on foot from the train station and the main shopping area. The reservation was done in ' Bahnurlaub. ' the package with bernina and glacier-express and can be recommended unreservedly. read more

Our short break in Zermatt was great, also thanks to the hotel.
Great good room - the single room was huge-new refurbished bathroom, with wonderful plates.
The food in the restaurant 'La Barrique' in the evening ( below) was gigantic, very, very nice! And you get 10% discount if you hotel guest is.
The breakfast is very plentiful and beautifully designed!
The hotel has more than three stars deserved-again and again! read more

The hotel is in a good location but in an old and partly bad development standard. In particular, the breakfast room and the reception area leaves a little to be desired rather older guests during our entire stay. The staff is mostly not German speaking, what is surprising in a Swiss tourist destination. read more

Plus: very good location, very nice sauna area with a steam bath and sauna, nice large bathroomHCLFHLMinus: no single balcony per room, but shared with four other rooms and uncomfortable plastic chairs (no chairs on the deck) ., safe very deep and inconvenient in the cabinet below installed (led to a lumbago as souvenirs), dinner with strange combinations, and dishes (for example Roggenbrotmousse, Schinkenmousse, partially dry dishes without any sauce: for example, spinach, egli and fish, we missed potatoes or pasta as hash browns) read more

Especially positive was the brand new Spa area, sauna, and steam bath stone grotto impressed-a game of developmental performance. Unfortunately, we had the impression, that you here just one Spa-area had to pay, because the standard-there was none of the hotel staff is, either you can order something, there is still-as elsewhere usual-at least something drinkable (except a tap).HCLFHLThe bathrobes are a must for 50 CHF deposit at the front desk and were able to find out, you just need, otherwise a prospect (at least by the Boss himself!), you have the next day in the room.HCLFHLWhy not ... just in the room-a characteristic of this hotel! At least one later at the pay only asked, whether the bathrobes as well as the rooms (we could have stayed longer)-one must not find them back at the front desk even.HCLFHLThe location of the hotel is really very central to the cable cars, bus stations and shops-if you are looking for a nice naturliche area or even a nice view, this is not the place to go.HCLFHLWe had a standard (so-called comfort) room and were very happy with our stay. Only we missed a music system, and the tv was very tiny typical, and-in contrast to furniture-totally out of date. ZM television sits one of the best places on the front Bettkante.HCLFHLA fridge or mini bar was missing unfortunately.HCLFHLThe north side of the hotel was an immediate neighboring trader, where it already early in the morning loud disturbed (Windows!) the view from the south side is close neighboring buildings built up-if you want to have a wide view already up and be regular, because the rooms with beautiful views are rare.HCLFHLAt the food you very much trouble. The breakfast is very versatile-us nothing was missing-it would be nice if you a scrambled eggs or omelet or other could order. Except for the fact that coffee and tea was brought, no service, it should be noted-The always very friendly! Staff must mainly tables cover up-that was already annoying-especially if it around and in addition alibi-radio from the unfortunately in Switzerland, which still 'young' 70's from the speakers are installed directly above. The fruit offer was somewhat poorly-perhaps adapted to the winter?HCLFHLFor dinner-with half board-there are four to five courses. There was only one menu-but there are alternatives to each course spontaneously, if you sometimes didn't like it. The cooking was excellent-sometimes you can tell but this is patently narrow budget. For vegetarians is nothing-that is still only the meat just omitted classicHCLFHLThe price level at the wine does not correspond to the other 3-star category. You can't help feeling, that it was very kept droplets to act, because this can further long ageing.HCLFHLIt is in the new part of a restaurant and a bar, open until 0:30 o 'clock allegedly-we stayed once at 22:30 o' clock anyone more. So: early in the supermarket (around the corner) to buy.HCLFHLThere are a number of sofas and seating area in front of the dining room, but there were no service is offered (not the expensive wine can order one)-if the staff the tables had finally ended has covered the dining room was closed-that was it but you can sit still, even if you're from a constitutional against 22:30 o'clock returns and the artificial fireplace blown out and only the lighting is.HCLFHLTo the ski-skiing classic in the basement-a beondere importance. The front desk is unfortunately in the old building, because this pre-boards is unfortunately not present-and some of the other hotels do it justice: Katedralglas eingesäumter a central guards.HCLFHLUnfortunately the whole hotel No generosity Miss-much of what came to us quite old-fashioned and petty.HCLFHLThe objective benefits-especially in terms of the Zermatter standards for good price/performance ratio-we can recommend this hotel, even though our persönl Chen requirements partly bad. read more

The hotel is great, I was eight to ten times. And I will go there again. The service is good, from the second day we were welcomed by name, if you enter the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and modernly furnished. The breakfast is good, the pool is great almost award-winning! The bar is well equipped (all major is available). read more
