In our opinion the hotel is in no as terrible condition, as you after several reviews here could do mine. The furniture and carpets like a bit dated and if you everywhere after rust searches, it will also find, but we felt, and still comfortable. The hotel is outdated, but shone because of its staff and the really great location. read more

The following review is based not on the behelfszimmer the 1st night, but the actual booked from the 2. night! We had a double room with balcony, because while the cheaper but balkonlos, and the other double room on higher floors much more expensive. The rooms are equipped with a large double closet, a double bed, a bench, a crt with temporary empfangsschwierigkeiten (but who is on vacation the tv watch?) , two wingback chairs, a balcony me 2 plastic chairs and a plastic table, a larger refrigerator for private use, a shower/tub combination, a toilet with bidet, a hair-dryer and two mirrors (one in the bathroom, a in the room). The interior was to us more than enough, since we hardly in the room and for our purchases the fridge very much appreciated. Hears one however 4* Gran Hotel, may most people from the rooms be disappointed (always be taken into account: 4 stars are country category!). Look a little closer, are the mountings somewhat tarnished and drop, may some walls a new coat of paint or work the mattresses worn out. The air conditioning is very loud, but who you before falling asleep turns off and during the night the window on the balcony auflässt, despite somewhat traffic under the balcony its night. We only booked accomodation and breakfast, why only the breakfast measured. This was a little bit varied, but sufficient varied. There are several bread and rolls, different scheibenwurst/salami, sometimes liverwurst or brawn, cheese slices, cheese cubes (feta, goat cheese, blue mold), typical english breakfast (white beans in tomato sauce, tomatoes, sausages, bacon), fruit (kiwi, banana, papaya, orange, dosenpfirsich and pineapple, blutorange, apples, pears), stale danish pastries (muffins, puff pastry), fried eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, different yoghurts. Various coffee drinks come from many machine, the in the breakfast room distributed are installed. The offered food changed hardly, but because of the great variety you 2-3 weeks good. There was only a large dining room, so the noise level depending on the time quite increases can be. We always found an empty table and the waiters was extremely fast, if it concerned, old dishes and reset tables. The hygiene at the buffet was good.

Because of a booking mix-up we had to leave our 1st night in a windowless room in the basement spend. The next morning we could in a double room (not economy, however also not with lake/teideblick) move and were for the inconvenience with 2 bottles of sparkling wine and 2 large früchtekörben compensated. Also we could the safe free of charge (instead of 2,50 Euro per day) use. The ladies at the reception languages good german and inquired for example, for us, whether the cable car to the Teide drove or as the weather in other inselteilen was. The boat trip from the bar was also from the reception call booked. Overall the entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were only 2 time on the small pool and otherwise no sports-or entertainment offers use. The pool was clean, not too cold and made a clean impression. Chairs and umbrellas were sufficiently available. Every evening in the entrance area any kind of evening entertainment. Either live singing and played or it apply local disguised folclore troops on. Even if we this offer never used it, so it made a diverse and good impression.

From südflughafen from one drives scarcely 2 hours by bus after puerto. The hotel is located outside the hustle and bustle of the waterfront on a hill. Because of this you have a wonderful view the direction of the sea and not the noise of the city center. To the center one runs over some stairs or along a steep road about 10 minutes a piece of uphill several worthwhile cafés and restaurants. We found the location great, as centrally located but nevertheless undisturbed stay.
