We were for 6 nights the angels home. We got a very dark room ( meter Gitterstäben and against walls ). After complaint we stayed there for 2 nights, there the building was fully booked. For the last 4 nights the room on the 1st floor and OK! The staff are very friendly. A very good German speaking employee was in any case to our questions open. Very clean family-run hotel in Sultan Ahmet. Amazing location near the Blaue Moschee, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Nearby there are numerous restaurants and cafes. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast is 6 points value. Thanks to Karina! We were the fünte time and definitely not the last. read more

This hotel is located right in the heart of the old town of Istanbul. A really cute hotel in the middle. One has a beautiful view of the Sultan Ahmet mosque and the Bosphorus. For a short break the ideal hotel. We should again after Istanbul go, we would this hotel decide. It is reasonable value for money. Thank you for everything. read more

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Alle Top-Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man gut zu Fuss. Es ist ruhig und macht einen sicheren Eindruck. Die Zimmer selbst zeigen starke Gebrauchsspuren, die Sauberkeit lässt ab und zu zu wünschen übrig. Die von uns gesehenen und bewohnten zwei Zimmer waren klein und dunkel, die Bäder in einem nicht ganz so prächtigen Zustand. Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet haben wir auf einer kleinen Terrasse auf dem Dach des Hauses eingenommen. Wunderschöner Blick, das Buffet dafür nur durchschnittlich. Empfehlenwert für Aufenthalte zwischen 1 und 5 Tagen, länger würde ich es in den Zimmern ... nicht aushalten. read more

We stayed 3 nights at the end of April Angels home. On the internet even in Istanbul-guide the hotel was fairly good, so we arrived with anticipation. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Transfer is including 3 nights, you need to be careful, only one way! Return to the airport but you have to pay for. We arrived at the hotel were very friendly welcome from the staff. Behind the front desk (table with PC) is the steps into the rooms accessed through outdoor hallways. If you hear the name Angel's Home reminded you of a romantic nice hotel, which was ... unfortunately not on this hotel applies, What are only a few old yellowed figures on around. We had booked a double room. Bathroom and the room itself were not very decoratively, rather dated and slightly needed fixing up. In the hotel also some cats and a dog. The cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired. everything was relatively dusty. Even in the breakfast room crumbs and dust on the ground. The breakfast buffet was basic, not very overwhelming. The good location of the hotel was a plus, restaurants, attractions and businesses are in the immediate vicinity. You can walk to everything very good. We didn't go on any excursions booked through the hotel. The best thing was to explore the city on foot. We wouldn't go back to this hotel, as you at least get a clean hotel received for the price! read more
