For the 3. time in steigenberge Hamburg, never disappointed first class service on all levels. Rooms are big enough the bathroom could be more modern but still good. read more

The hotel is modern, clean, neat and located in the city centre from Hamburg!
How were in all areas of the hotel friendly and treated with respect, we were very comfortable!
The food in the ground floor restaurant/conservatory is very delicious, one notices immediately that high-quality foodstuffs! Also the snacks in the hotel bar are very recommendable! (here plays in the evenings always a pianist, which the atmosphere very comfortable makes.)
The only thing, that we somewhat overpriced found, the breakfast was for over 20 €per person. /day. But we would rather be in the city center and had ... breakfast. read more

The Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg is location wise hardly any to exceed. All sightseeing-highlights are within walking distance-and the building still a peaceful location. Rathaus, Jungfernstieg, new wall, Hafencity, jetties, everything on foot feasible and therefore no public transportation or taxi required. Gastronomy in the house: bistro on the fleet and restaurant, we did not become acquainted with. The restaurants 'around the corner' were lethal. Check-in was a bit slow, perhaps because the early arrival time (1:15 p. m.). But the porter with the bar made up for it. By car to arrive and the public garage with hotelreservierten ... spaces to use, cost 26,00 Euro per day to book. Check-out was efficient and with friendly words at the front desk accompanied. There is in Hamburg very good 4 star hotel at a lower price-us, the category 5-star-superior not so developed, the location and the state of the hotel have ourselves however in the election of the hotel confirmed, and we will be there on our next trip to Hamburg definitely book again. read more

I was two nights in the hotel. The room is standard. The air conditioning is old and very noisy.
The breakfast was ok. However not five stars.
The staff very friendly and helpful. Had my handykabel forget and could without any problems a loan.
The rooms are very clean.
There the spa renovated, i could didn't use. But it is an alternative available. This will already at check in pointed out.
The hotel has a great location and is with public transportation distance. Next S-Bahn station is 200 meters away. read more

The location and transport links the hotel is very good. We were disappointed by the size of the bathroom. The rooms are over the air conditioning heated. The air conditioning is extremely noisy. We have already often in 5 star hotels. This hotel is probably rather in the category 4 star. read more

The hotel is relatively big, feels at the individual floors however not so, but you feel in good hands.
The whole hotel makes a clean impression, breakfast immaculate, friendliness of all employees super, wlan unfortunately only against expensive fee. It is not anymore!
The guest structure is international and the age well mixed. read more

Hotel lies excellent. It is everything worth seeing to reach on foot.
Room, breakfast and general cleanliness are typical standard of a Steigenberger hotels.
Negative:
The hotel was paid in advance. When checking out but were told, that now still another bettensteuer (5%) in addition to pay is. This information is in my opinion at this point too late.
I also think, that a 5 star hotel mittlereweile so far should be the wifi free of charge.
Otherwise i can however recommend the hotel. read more

We have a short trip in Steigenberger Hotel made and the stay
Enjoyed. But unfortunately also again heruasgestellt, in the very good
Hotels the staff's hospitality to be desired leaves.

Recommendable hotel for business trips with fair price-performance ratio. The inventory is although already somewhat older but so not bad or in poor condition. The hotel was reasonable, however in my opinion no 5 stars. You weren't on emerging costs realized, got a wrong bill and in the room it was not created toiletries to fill up. Conclusion : the next visit in Hamburg is not in the Steigenberger his. read more

A very nice hotel, which is very good and good access to u-bahn & S-Bahn has. Lots of things ( alster, jetties, Rathaus) are also more than reachable on foot. The staff were exceedingly friendly and we would like to especially mention. Renovated must be safe everywhere, a shame that we during our visit to the spa and the restaurant gourfleets could not visit, although it was everywhere in the house advertised? The feather dusters should once again the ceiling and the curtains the washing machine see, otherwise the room was clean and spacious. The quality of the dishes for ... breakfast and bistro was very good and also the staff exceedingly friendly. This is the second cold night i am spending in my room in this hotel.
The heating doesn't work and there is no extra heater available for me in the hotel.
The first night i could't sleep because of the cold temperature and asked for to extra heater, and i received some blankets with the promise of the fixing up of the air conditionning and extra heater.
Unfortunatelly this evening, went i came back to my room, nobody informed me about the inconvenience of the wooden floors and the extra heater was still not available for me tonight.
This is ... not the child of service i expect from this child of hotel. read more

I was now for the 3. time this year in this hotel and come would gladly come again. If i had to complain about, then already at a high level.
It is unfortunately again the reception, cordial is different and as a 'regular' (see above) i would simply be as such to be addressed. A short entry in the accounts can actually be so difficult?!
In the bistro and restaurantbetreib is. This was, as always very pleasant and wonderful.
Breakfast rather in the room (is not so full \u263a and the price is almost the same, since one is à ... la carte ordered.

The Steigenberger Hamburg is located with the best location, right at the waterfront and one is immediately in the middle of everything. The town hall square is in about 10 minutes walk, a subway-station is 200 meters away. A swimming pool is in the hotel not available, however a fairly generous spa area with various spa treatments.
The hotel is beautiful and refined decor, the entrance hall nicely decorated (we stayed in the holiday season there). The standard double rooms are in my opinion but not the case high prices just. The bathroom is rather small, furthermore very plain, one ... doesn't feel as in a '5-star service'. Our room only had a bath tub, the also for showering had to be used. The rooms have no balcony and due to the location directly at a surface subway-way you can because of the volume the windows actually only always closed. The beds are very comfortable. The hygiene is with drawbacks (for example directly upon arrival we found a hair in the bathtub) good. In the afternoon the room through a 2. the maid service again 'refreshed '.
The breakfast buffet in a pleasant atmosphere with a view of the water restaurant. The selection is good, however i found it for a 5 star hotel unworthy and disappointing, that you only ready-to-bake breads offered. The bread selection was also not outstanding. Well, i think, that marmelade and honey not in individual plastic packing are offered, but in prozellanbehältnissen to 'self-siphon'.
The service is good as very to evaluate. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were there on the early lunch arrived, why our room not yet available stood (hotel was at the vortag fully booked). You noticed my mobile phone and gave us a route for a walk. Before we provided, we were also already informed, that the room now available and our gepäcl waited then already there for us.
The offered gastronomy in the evening tasted excellent, but of course, you also pay a proud price.
Overall the hotel is on a recommendable pigeonhole, in my opinion however ultimately too expensive for the offered. Than 'luxury hotel', as the Steigenberger Hamburg defined, i didn't notice them. read more

If we in Hamburg are, then in the Steigenberger ( to 70%). The hotel is located great central location. All shopping is in the 10 minutes gehbereich. Even if you on the Reeperbahn would, takes this only a 15-minute walk. Decorated up to date. Really beautiful and large bathroom. Valet parking, of course. Small, but nice bar. At a late hour but bad, to find a place. The selection of drinks is acceptable. And the breakfast buffet looks for its same. We say, gladly anytime again. Only: price not completely so good-we look often after weekend council. read more
