It is reasonable value for money. For african possibilities a good run Hotel. I felt good all round. One must everything simply not european Hotels comparisons. Also run at home no running with the sagrotanflasche rum. The food is for tourists seasoned, as you otherwise in the country very sharp is used To eat. One knows nachwürzen. All you can it wasn't right. We are a group of several, different persons, already the 3. year there meeting and none of us had something to criticize. read more

    1 rest. , 2 lobby-bars, 1 pool bar, 1 beach bar The drinks are concentrates and after some time not enjoyable. The food in the restaurant is mostly without love at the buffet presented ( no decoration, nothing at all, so under the motto: barracks, here take it) and was at the time of our stay simply not enjoyable and the selection was very limited. Similarly, the variety much to be desired. For breakfast ( which one could also eat and rich ) you had to for plates first times line up, because no were there. You breakfast finally together, placed in the coffee and teeschlange, which formed, because of course no mugs were there. There were some 20 people in this line, a waiter from of the kitchen and brought 7 mugs. Simply unbelievably so what. You had the coffee than finally also ready, started the search for a clean and cleared table. The staff of the restaurant for breakfast was simply stink-putridly. None of them came on the idea of a table to clear, no, the moved the dirty dishes simply on the table forward and made everything there. Atmosphere was in the restaurant like being in a caserne. No background music, wilted bushes in the vases, no decoration, just nothing. The described in the catalog pizzeria consisted of pizzahäppchen at the beach in the restaurant.

    At check in in the hotel you get no written information, where everything in this hotel is. We had to on the next day first everything alone find out. ( badetuchverleih, indoor pool, show, mini-golf, restaurant, and so on) interested the staff really, what they are told. Languages the staff almost every, but the best language the can is: Dinar. The staff for everything have, to reservation of liege, all hour a beer at the sea, and so on and so on One is late supper divided (8:30 P. M.) and want e afterwards the show the animation team see, you had not any opportunity a seat to get. The service is wholeheartedly on the hotel marhaba resort-oriented. Cleaning of the rooms took place. Towels every day fresh. The hotel (240 room) has 3 hairdryers to borrow (depot Dinar 20). One of them was broken. At the front desk nobody knew what room these hairdryers are now. It is just at the rental said: 1 hour, then back, they make no note the room number.

    100 meters to the beach. Very flat Sousse about 4 kilometer, Port el Kantaoui about 6 kilometer, airport about 60 kilometer. Vis-À-vis hotel several shops in shopping mall and restaurants No excursions booked Trip to the camel market in sousse (sunday morning ) is worthwhile not. Is just big mess with extreme risk of theft. Trip to Port el Kantaoui you should in any case undertake. Evenings there is also a water show instead. There is also an amusement park (not tüv tested!)

Hotel consists of 4 hotels ( hotel marhaba club/marhaba/marhaba Neptun and marhaba beach). The marhaba Club hotel is located direct on the main street! At the start one wanted us in the Neptun push (2-story houses), which was not times 2 stars earned ( ferienlagerflavour ), we immediately complained and a room in the marhaba club demanded, which we booked. We were immediately a room to the available. The rooms the marhaba club (electronic locks) are renovated, but are everywhere construction defects, mold and worn furniture on. The whole complex is although it is very spacious, but they appear in ... the Russian flair adapted to have. Furniture works everywhere rather as from the former soviet union and no matter where you look are things broken or absolutely neglected. Wi-fi there are only in the lobby free of charge available. You saw very many open wiring/broken slices/broken furniture around in the garden area. Mini golf is filthy and unusable. Green areas are not maintained respectively are covered with garbage and unappealing. By the pool hang some of the lightings open in the pool rum and it didn't bother anyone. Evenings you can't get more to the beach, since this with a 3 meters high grid sectioned off and back on the next day at o'clock is opened. The pool beach chairs can not more titled. Absolutely worn and uncomfortable. Each standard -service must additional tip be paid. The beer at the beach already from o'clock drank and afterwards only still beer from the backroom tapped, which was very strange tasted and what I actually only headache got. If you are looking for a lounger by the pool or beach with sun screen have to 2 possibilities. Either one stands at o'clock and reserved which, or the pool or beach boy tip, again then for a reserved. From o'clock it is impossible still a free beach chair with a umbrella to get! Unfortunately the complete audience from 85% russians / 10% English and the rest is almost not more. Cleanliness is ok for this hotel a foreign word ( garden area/ hotel/ room). Our towels were only every 3 days changed, bed sheets not at all. We had in the room everywhere mold and hair around, the move was even underwear from the previous guests under the pillows. The bed linen was dirty and with strangers hair covered. The joints in the bathroom were all moldy respectively unprofessional überfugt. The furniture was strongly worn out. Furthermore you could in the room always hear if someone toilet was in the house, as it is so loud buzz afterwards (24 hours at the day and night!) the playgrounds for children were more of a risk, since all railing broken were, but it has no one around cared.     The rooms in neptunhotel at best 1 star. The' renovated' room the marhaba club at best 2 stars. Closets for clothes were sufficiently available but very worn. A telephone in the room does not exist. No internet ( wi-fi) in the room. Crt televisions with a remote control and 4 German channels (poor reception ) - RTL/ VOX/ ARD/ ZDF. Air conditioning with 3 steps was available and worked satisfactory. The fridge was new and absolutely great! On the balcony were 2 plastic chairs with plastic table and a miniwäscheständer on the wall. Bathroom was with a bath and shower equipped but without hair dryer! Mini safe there is no. ( only hotel safe with extra charge) I really wonder what the rooms renovated! At best worth 2 stars. Mold and critters/many mosquitoes! Where the eye looks. Curtains/ bed sheets also very dirty. 1 was broken however positive. Actually worked electricity and climate in the room only if the hotel in the Schlitz is, when we went there even if they do not put :-)

    Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear! I could certainly novel to write... We stayed from the second day only ate out, I think that says everything! ( and we are absolutely not spoilled!) 1 plus point I would not take, the cakes during dinner was absolute top! Everything else did not have canteens respectively ferienlagerniveau! Absolute insolence what you have ordered. I have nothing against the selection was always the same and is very small, but then you should at least the quality eighth! The same goes for the cleanliness in the restaurant. It was missing constantly to cutlery and the bedspreads were from the night before was absolutely filthy! I was absolutely uncomfortable, I know canteens the a better ambience! Indescribable! The food at the beach/ pool was also absolutely lousy! ( for example unbaked aufbackbaguettes with 1 minischeibe sausage! / no salads etc.) My partner the vegetarian, could every day egg eat respectively pasta with ketchup, there wasn't even salads or something like that...

    Front desk ( only franz. Or English speaking) was always friendly and tried very hard the request to fulfill respectively the complaint to eliminate. The 1st day we were greeted by a German speaking porter and the abschiedstag we had 1 bottle of water received for the drive. Staff in the 'cafeteria' was always unfriendly and lazy. Tables only for russians and women decorated the tip paid (with dirty napkins!). The cleaning of the rooms was also very bad, since we after the cleaning more hairs/sand in the room couches had than before :/ bathroom was never cleaned during the 2 weeks. Bed sheets was never changed and was dirty and with hairs covered. Balcony was also never cleaned. All towels were 2a 3 days changed.

    The entertainers you looked rare but they did a good job. Internet there are only in the lobby free of charge ( wi-fi). In the room there is no internet! Music was rarely played by the pool or beach, and if it was always the same title. Cleanliness and in the pool neglected and much lime and mold at the pool-tiles. Beach quality was all right. Sunbeds absolutely useless and run down. Showers and toilet were everywhere available but very poorly kept up.

    The beach is the only plus point, which this hotel well deserved. Absolutely fine sandy ( also in the sea). No pebbles and a few seaweeds in the sea ( please note I already described!). Airport is about minutes away. The historic part sousse is absolutely not worth seeing. I have never seen such a worn down and covered with waste city in my lifetime seen, everywhere trash and above all the stench is everywhere indescribable (trash/flies)! There are two possibilities the locals out stolen from/to be ripped off. 1. Possibility: 1 alien comes along and says he is employee from the hotel ( they know all hotel-all inclusive-bracelets!) and 2. Possibility: ask you, if you 2 Euro in Dinar could change! ( they just want to see where your money hidden!). We were furthermore all 5 meters asked, whether we drugs wish to buy. General were the tunisians very rude as soon as you not want to buy respectively no tip was. One should never take a taxi which in front of the hotel is possible, the three to four times as if you need a taxi by hand with! Taximeter! Adopted. The small supermarkets are strong overpriced ( German price level). If you should for nearby supermarket 'Carrefour'or' monoprix' with the taxi go. Cigarettes you should consider when the airport buy, since these there are cheaper than in the town (2 rails' west' 29 Euro). Perfume if you not at all buy, as these to the 1 hour, not more smashing and one rash of get. You should also all price at least 50% to act. ( loud advertised respectively 1. to price from the dealer!)

The hotel is the purest disaster. We will never again a foot to this hotel planting. The hotel is 99.99% from russians, the always drunk and aggressive and everything reserve, in other words the tables and seats at the beach, pool and so on if we to Germany back we need a cure, so that we ourselves of this terrible vacation relax. We had to every evening money for restaurant spend, although we booked all inclusive have, because this food is an impertinence. We do not want people scare, if you book here you will find, this hotel is ... the largest disaster. Important point: although one booked all inclusive has, without money goes here nothing at all. Unfortunately vote the bad reviews. We will the hotel not again book. Dier cleanliness the dining room, as well as the entire area left to be desired. We have therefore from the possibility Make use, in the marhaba hotel to eat instead of the marhaba club. The hotel is on the same site and is about 300 meters away from the club. Very happy with the hotel and the service with the waiter staff (bars and reception), poor service in the restaurants and food choice was appalling and did not cater for English tourists. There was only entertainment provided for children and no adult entertainment AT ALL!! No hair dryers were provided in the rooms as stated in the brochure. My overall opinion would be that I would not visit Sousse again in my life time.. read more

The hotel is located with two other hotels in a beautiful garden-area. On the complex there are two pools, the for the number of guests not enough. So it was at 8 o'clock very hard free chairs in the shade to find. The loungers were for hours with towels blocked without the someone appeared. The hotel and it's facilities were mostly very clean. By the complex one arrives within 5 minutes to the hotel's own sandy beach, where a similar problem with the pool chairs was. Otherwise the beach is beautiful and the water very clear. The guests were mostly ... middle-aged and the eastern bloc or England. German guests were rather less represented. read more

    Our room showed toward the garden area and you could in the background also the sea see. The room was big enough and had a balcony with a table and chairs. We had a tv with a few german programs, a small fridge and air conditioning. The room was actually very nice, only had it already some faults: On a small table in the room you could not park without fear, that he just collapses. The vent in the bathroom didn't work and on the ceiling, you could already light mold see. You could also the door from the bathroom only with violence open and close, which every time was very loud.

For beverages you had to also have to line up eternally. In the marhaba hotel was the service better and the restaurant itself clean and nice. Sadly even here there were often dirty plates. You had for the vacation a table, for the mostly the same waiter was responsible. This was very nice and brought a drinks and made always for cutlery. The food was quickly refilled and there was a good choice. In the morning there was fresh omelets and crepes, for you however somewhat longer had to wait. On one day the week there was local dishes. At lunch you could also the pool- or beach bar snacks.

    The staff are a few very friendly. Real service you can only hope, if you properly tip paid (best already in advance). Otherwise there is one for a very long time at the bar and must sometimes clean look for our silverware. Most people could speak german and with the other you could communicate in english. The rooms were cleaned daily, with only rare in the port was clean. Beds were made, but the laundry not changed. The used towels were every morning early and late afternoon again replace them. So was hands dry or even showers at lunchtime not possible.

    The hotel is located with two other hotels in a beautiful garden-area. On the complex there are two pools, the for the number of guests not enough. So it was at 8 o'clock very hard free chairs in the shade to find. The loungers were for hours with towels blocked without the someone appeared. The hotel and it's facilities were mostly very clean. By the complex one arrives within 5 minutes to the hotel's own sandy beach, where a similar problem with the pool chairs was. Otherwise the beach is beautiful and the water very clear. The guests were mostly middle-aged and the eastern bloc or England. German guests were rather less represented.

    If you leave the hotel, one is directly at a busy street, at the individual shops and restaurants are to be found. Until in the medina of sousse are with the taxi circa 10 minutes (but not really worth it, because it was very dirty). To port el kantoui it was about 15 minutes (with a small train or taxi). It is very nice and definitely worth a visit. General the rides are very inexpensive (converted 2,50 Euro a way). Other excursions, there were only a few. They were either to far away, uninteresting or too expensive.

    Size was sufficient, room was ok. , however the bathroom catastrophic: water tap you could fully rotate, shower dripped, many tiles broken, mold, toilet flush was not reasonable, air ventilation did not work, shower cabin useless. Air conditioning worked well, fridge not at all and tv ancient without remote control and only 3 German program. The balcony was nice and with a view of the sea. Balcony door closed not correctly.

Which would be a very bad runs, was the information: you got nothing, no infozettelno. A umlaut. After 3 futile attempts, a towel ( what it against deposit should be) to get, we gave it up. Cleaning of the rooms was weitestgehen ok. The worst was the organization (or better non-organization ) in the dining room. There were often queues at the buffet and the drinks station. Plates, mugs and above all glasses often missing. Loungers there was enough, only they were often in lousy state. Protection from the sun you had only, if one early enough there was, or a of the staff money for the reservation was. Water without gas, was always difficult-why also always.

    Beach is very nice. Pool also beautifully put on. From the entertainment program we did not get much, because we up to the last day were always at the beach. There were only volleyball and a water aerobics, the one actually can be called that. It was only with the poor moves, while the feet in the water were. The water aerobics in the pool on the final day was good. Mini golf course is available, however seem eternally not use (full dirt). Massage we wanted to book, but we got no appointment as requested with a woman.

The marhaba club and were without reasons in the marhaba Neptune put three stars instead of 4 stars! The area is very, very beautiful and the beach a dream. As German you feel very lonely, as 95% of the guests Russians are. ( very impudent people) The dishes repeat very strong and tasted usually not much. The beverages whereas taste aufgegossenem syrups. The room was OK - we anyway hardly there-but the air conditioning barely worked and the bathroom radiated before lime. If you with this things live, the I can recommend this hotel. We spend our honeymoon in this hotel from the 16 July-24 July 12. The hotel is very beautiful but unfortunately to 90% Russians the already in the morning to evenings drink friendly and the dirt as gekotztes leave. In the morning one must at 6:00 o'clock get up the one the loungers occupied can, otherwise you have no shade place. The food is very good but you must be a long time line up. Great average hotel, for the price great. Whom the hotel reasonably no matter is and you're beach and sea eighth it is a dream the beach is large and spacious, only sand no rock a dream. The hotel complex was very beautiful and attractively designed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The direct beach area is great, as there is a hotel's own section gives, the vendors, which offer their commodity, not can be entered. Very relaxing very high.     The evening entertainment does not cater enough for adults. To get a table by the poolside in the evening you had to be there by 8:30pm at the latest, it got incredibly busy. The animation team tried their best but it was more catered for children. They need to expand the entertianment area and perhaps they should have some life traditional music, bands or even a disco. We ended up in the lobby area a lot of the time in the evening, again this was rather busy, and no music or anything at all here, which was a shame.

Have a week 4 star hotel marhaba Club with a view of the sea and booked all inclusive, but because of overcrowding of the four star hotels in the three stars Marhaba Resorte without Meerbilck accommodated. This area of the hotel to 99% from Eastern Europe ( Russians, Ukrainen and so on) vacations occupied. Here was because of the loud pool disco impossible to sleep. The remaining 4 days vacation in the booked four star hotel were against better. The staff at pool and bar were very nice and were willing to help, but without English or Russian, there were ... difficulties with being understood. I spent a week here from 13th-20th June with my grown up daughter. The room allocated was good and very clean. We arrived late in the evening. Our first experience of eating at the Mahabra Club was breakfast the next morning! I'm not sure the best way to describe the dining room but a cross between a works canteen and old style holiday camp. There didn';t appear very much choice for breakfast, (compared to other holidays of this grading). The dining room was chaotic! The queues were long and you also had to queue to get your own drinks. ... very little table service went on. However, there was a large selection of food but we found the atmosphere in the dining room so depressing, we ended up eating at the pool bars each day. This was fine and a better atmosphere, but meant you had limited choice of food. You cannot take out of the dining room to eat elsewhere. The one thing however that really stood out for us was how rude most of the staff were! I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have been to where the staff almost 'drop' your drink onto the counter. There is often no eye contact, let alone a smile. The lady at the cashier desk looked extremely unhappy - I saw her smile once! You were not made to feel particularly welcome and this was the view of most of the British tourist who spoke to us. When we asked the rep at the hotel if other people had complained, he looked surprised and said No. However, this was not true as another rep on the coach back said he often had complaints about rudeness of staff! Not sure why he felt the needed not to tell the truth! The man at the pool, the cleaners and one or two bar staff were very nice and pleasant. Some British visitors said staff were unhappy because people were not tipping them - if they smiled more, we would have done. We certainly tipped the maid and pool man! The pool was very very busy but lovely. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday, the pool is not the place to be, loud music and loads of people. If you pay for a drink at the Bocca Bar it is lovely and peaceful and you can use their allocated beach The security man will try and move you on, but if you tell them you are buying a drink, they leave you alone. The beach is very clean and lovely white sand. Please don't be put off by this review, it isn't so dire, you won't be able to stay there, but as a lot of other guests said there were 'niggly' things. Overall, it is a very clean hotel and very clean pool areas. The animation was extremely good. There are a number of activities, boules, archery. Indoor pool. The Russians were not too much of a bother. If you speak to them, they don't smile - very much like the staff! I wouldn't waste time doing the 'free' medina trip. You end up sitting in a carpet showroom looking at rolls of carpet. The weather here is lovely and somewhat makes up for the hotel. I definitely would not return to this hotel. I feel if staff cannot be bothered to make an effort with guests, why would you waste your hard earned money going to a hotel like this? Apparently another 400 guests are expected this summer at this hotel. I really don't know how the restaurant or bars will handle this sort of influx. It was bad enough with 1200 guests. I would say it is not a 4 star hotel. If you do stay here, I would suggest asking to be put into the Mahabra Club hotel itself, as there were a number of little outbuildings scattered around and these did not look very nice. The other thing we found difficult was the lobby area where guests can smoke. Being used to a smoke-free atmosphere, it was very hard adjusting to this. The animation team however do the shows outside so not such a problem. also the lobby area is only partly air-conditioned and got quite stuffy at times. Drinks were quite limited - no cocktails at all. The towels in the room were 'grey' and well past their sell-by date, but they were clean and changed every day as were the sheets. Likewise the tablecloths in the dining room appeared grey and discoloured and un-ironed often! Anyway the pluses here are the weather, beach, some staff and animation team. There was one couple who plan to come back in September, so you may be happy staying here. Everybody has different expectations I suppose! read more
