For a weekend getaway the hotel is absolutely sufficient. The check in and-out went fast and smoothly over the stage. Unfortunately was at the time our stay the elevator in maintenance, because we however a room on the 2. floor were not as serious a problem.
Our booked room was relatively small and sparsely but with the coerced equipped. The bathroom was in comparison to room very big, unfortunately however not very clean. The floor was with several hairs defiled, which unfortunately with the amount of hair not overlooked will was. The beds and towels were however very clean. Also ... a bit disturbing was the lack of holder for the shower, why the showering head permanently itself had to hold.
Also disturbing we felt, that the heater not adjustable and permanently through-heated.
The breakfast proved to be very manageable but sufficient. Unfortunately was on the 2. day not enough rolls as, therefore, there was only bread. The also offered sliced berlin/donuts/pancakes were however not enjoyable, as they completely dry.
For a weekend without many requirements sufficient, however there is as well enough alternative. read more

On the first glance the hotel makes a very nice impression. But you know the this hotel strongly renovation needy. In the corridor or in the hallways, it was warmer than in our room even, as the windows not very close metro. From the bed you had a good view of a large spider web. The view from the window was just bad. A unkempt backyard and tons of trash. The tv was ancient and extremely small. The remote control worked the majority of the buttons are not. In the bathroom, which was extremely small, was the toilet seat not ... above. This meant the lid constantly on the back was. The space between the toilet and the sink was so small, that one for the legs no space. The shower head was worn and calcified.
The towel rack was not on the wall and made the impression every moment of the wall to to fall. A harföhn there was not. At the front desk there were only 5 hairdryers, all of which lent were. The worst was, that the bathroom door didn't close. The door didn't lock & a key gave it also not. After a complaint was a haustechnicker, which the door aushänkte and the hinges made. Of course, this is not a significant improvement to the consequence.
General made the room a not too clean impression.
The breakfast was very ok, for three stars but clearly insufficient. A relatively small selection available. The bread rolls were from yesterday. The meat made partly a unappetizing impression.
The wireless connection did not work from the room from, but only in the lobby.
Conclusion: the only good thing about this hotel is close proximity to u-bahn-station Friedensbrücke. The staff is not forestalling straight (except one exception). Why the hotel three stars rating is completely incomprehensible and the original price would never be justified.

For a city trip this place is great. You just need to shower, breakfast and for sleeping back.
The easy access to the subway is super, 5 minutes on foot.
Breakfast is reasonable. But if you like croissants like, is in the wrong place here. It lacks nothing. There is rolls, bread, cheese, sausage, tea, coffee, yoghurt, muesli, juices, it was enough for us!
The staff I very nice, willing to help and courteous experienced. You have us always helped and open questions answered.
In short: recommendable, if you have normal standard live!

The hotel seems to be in the 50. To 60. Years to be warp.
Old furnishings and everywhere ugly Artificial flowers create no pleasant atmosphere!
In the rooms there was (except for in the bathroom) no further mirror and there is no hair dryer available and an outlet you (at least in the bathroom) in vain!
The carpet was very dirty!
There was no shower available. One had in the bathtub ( without shower curtain) showers, so that one usually the whole bathroom flooded.
The 'dining room' is without daylight and very dark.
The breakfast buffet makes the lack in ... the hotel not good. Little choice and the long wait until the buffet refilled, make the stay not pleasant.
The toilet seat nearby the dining room ( women) Wobbly and not fixed and the Handtuchbehälter were all empty.
The staff are absolutely unfriendly and not at all helpfully! read more

The only positive about this hotel is the location!
In a few minutes one is at a supermarket or subway. In the city center you need only a couple of minutes!
Everything else is bad-or worse!
Up to a few small exceptions the staff is absolutely unfriendly! It shows no willingness to help and shows no competence whilst dealing with complaints. For breakfast we were even asked us to a other table, to the' waiter' not ceilings must.!
Unfortunately is the furnishing this house absolutely tasteless and dated!
Who a couple of days in this wonderful city spending should ... not from the price this hotel entice want!
Because for this hotel this is price nevertheless still too high! read more

Even when the hotel not exhilarating was, it would have been not at all bother us, we wanted to see the city and it was beautiful!
But there were 34 degrees in the town, no airco in the room so window on, normally would then OK but the hotel was on a Straßenbahnkreuzung. At night at 2 o'clock the last train and from 5 o'clock the first and in short tact from 4 directions. Because of the around the hotel cobbled streets and paths, as well as adjoining houses also about 5 floors high, dammed the heat of the day ... so, when I came home, I needed only times relaxation.

Everything made a worn and slightly uncared impression. No mini bar or fridge, no save, in the bathroom no plug for the hair dryer, Tooth finery cups unclean and old, drain on washbasin with tape fixed, TV 37 centimeters - Diameter and at least 10 to 15 years old, only a few program, breakfast only 3 types of sausage, 1 sort of cheese, scrambled egg but no cooked egg, for each cup coffee you had to to the buffet run, therefore very restless atmosphere. Am because of a travel congress to Wien traveled and this favorable hotel online. The hotel is already outdated and also the furnishing of the hotel room pointed out some faults on, but not disturbing. My room 314 was right next to the lift shaft and it was very loud, if the lift drove past. The cleaning lady was very friendly the service at the reception was cool and the breakfast quite Spartan. The area is equipped with a supermarket, train station stops and several snacks very good. All together but I would next time not come back to this ... hotel. read more
