In short good four star hotel. Balanced price- Leisteungsverhältni, ideal for excursions.
Breakfast a little basic, but OK, apart from that good( pizza, Pasta, burgers) to very good (shrimp, Scalopini Shish and so on) food.
The Nile side a bit noisy( is however everywhere so if you centrally located hotel in luxor Facing the garden a lot quiet, however missing of course the Nile view. Would book this hotel again, when fully booked the pool area however clearly too small. So recommended for people their surroundings erlunden want, nothing for pool Lying chairs. P. P. Something against flies along, was ... perhaps Fliegenzeit, were very annoying. read more

the hotel owns six floors, the rooms show either the Nile or to the rear garden area. If you don't set importance on a Nile view and more a quiet room wishes, a tour of the room suggested, the garden area displays.
the cleanliness is largely written. Not only towels/beach towels were daily changed, also the carpets daily cleaned.
we booked half-board.
the hotel was estimated that only a quarter was fully booked, several times it happened, that we alone in the large dining room sat.
Several restaurants, bar, Internet café with two old computers (the were so slow, that ... I did after approximately five minutes waiting time gave up, the net to come). read more

If you live in the middle of luxor and if you like it quiet, if the treasures of the ancient and admire the afternoon by the pool want to laze around, so if you right in the middle of the Orient and if necessary on an island of tranquillity would like to be, the El luxor (formerly Mercure ETAP) recommended. With all the benefits it is quite affordable. I have stayed there six times within a decade and, with all Agyptenbesuch to make an excursion to luxor. read more

A very good hotel, in the best place it could be, staff great, food/drink great, so much to do in the area and all so interresting a great place to go, shame there were not a lot of people there, i would recomend luxor and this hotel the others may be as good but this is good, the only problem is once out of your hotel everybody wants your money just smile and say no, very cheap in the resturants in the town food/drink. read more

As tourists in Egypt one should miss an excursion to Luxor. not we were with our two day trip in El-Luxor hotel and were very impressed. The staff was outstandingly friendly and competent. The quality of the food was very good, as well as their presentation. The need for dinner and breakfast.
Beautiful large room with safe and refrigerator, something worn, but clean and with a fantastic view over the river Nile and Thebes/West.
For a short stay actually very recommended. read more

Central location, friendly staff, nice room, nice pool (small but nice), dedicated design for New Year's eve dinner-we have us in El Luxor felt very comfortable.
(These things it up, that the hotel something in the years come is of such on the walls and the upholstery of the dining room)
We would stay there again! read more

This hotel has 20 years after. The toilets are very clean and the reception also.
The staff speaks many languages and is very helpful. On arrival you should give tips already, then one has the best service. Above all the room boys are extremely active and to local joke ready.
The room are well-appointed (large TV) fridge which you can also fill. Many hotels not allow outside bought drinks! Everyone can find something to the meal his taste. If something not okay should be, they made a lot of effort, this immediately.
So if you want to stay close to ... want to visit and Karnak or west bank, this hotel is the place for you. read more

A something run down city hotel, in a good location. The staff was mostly very unfriendly. The main building is in dire need of renovation, it is everything was very worn. The location of the hotel is very good, temples, the Nile Souk and just around the corner. It is surely better hotels for the same price. read more

The staff of the pool service was very friendly and organized with the present tourists different games in the pool. Particularly the kids had their fun thereby. The breakfast buffet was greater than our apartment here in Germany, the offer more than enough. There was cold and hot dishes available, even cakes and sweet pastry. The staff were very friendly. read more

The breakfast is rich. I have stayed on half board, because it is close to plenty of restaurants are. The pool and the garden were very well-kept. The hotel is in an excellent location, about seven minutes walk from Luxor-Temple and the Souk.
