Great rooms, but location and staff poor

Royal international hotel in Shanghai is located outside the city centre approximately 20 minutes away from the airport pudong, no ideal location. From the outside it looks a bit like in Las Vegas and guests are almost only 'locals', which one also the breakfast shows (no european breakfast). The rooms are excellent, large, modern and to western taste furnished and certainly worth 5 stars. The staff and the handling of guests, however, does not fit in at all, bad english, distrust (very high kautionsbelastung on the credit card), no powers, etc. And there was also no wi-fi in the room. read more

after a week China, I wanted to it a daynight quiet strictly and booked this airport hotel. The hotel is something from the better which I up to now experienced. The staff friendly, the hotel manageable large and clean. The rooms with more than sufficient luxury equipped and bed invites for sleeping and relax. read more

    the room 1105 left me no wishes unfulfilled. It had a large picture windows, a large clean bathroom, two TV, fridge/ minibar, all kinds of knick-knack and things can, by means of push to be served.

    I nächtigte in the hotel on Valentine's day, so there was in the Western restaurant of the hotel a buffet. The motto was' love ' and the decorations down to the smallest detail perfected. The food excellent prepared and tasty. It had at least 6 chefs at the and behind the buffet distributed, which the selected meat got. As well as the dessert buffet left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere by a pianist triradiate. An absolutely perfect dinner.

    the hotel has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and fitness room, which I but not used. In the hotel accommodated is also a spa area.     the hotel will as an airport hotel written down. It is so, that the hotel a free Shuttletransport offers, which limited but is required and could go. But you can afterwards judge. The drive to the airport lasts about 5 minutes, with large traffic something longer. Because the hotel a little further away from the airport is, you'll hear no plane. The metro station is nearby and can on foot be reached. The drive to downtown Shanghai takes about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on where you want to go.
