We have a families weekend in meerfeld spent. Everything all around great. The menu was excellent, the waiters very helpful and friendly, the room renovated and clean. Small disappointment, that the agreed package at the end has not been complied with. The menu was 7 €per person more expensive. We will definitely go back there. read more

The short break between the years 2012 in this hotel was very beautiful. Relaxing, you could break from the daily grind. The food was top-notch. The rooms big and in spotless condition. The service was nice and helpful. The owners were nice, very professional. The silvestergalamenü was plentiful. We had 3 wonderful days in the hotel maarium, the matratzrn were good since we back problems have.
The breakfast excellent. The friendliness also always very polite. The room had a great view the maar.
The weather was good for November. We have some beautiful excursions made. Unfortunately it was regrettable that the museums were already closed for the season, as the maar museum and the toy museum. But nice, it was at the monastery himmerrod and the schalkenmeerer maar and the lava bomb we also visited.
All around satisfied, we can the maarium good for relaxing days. read more

Also a longer stay in the right pleasant atmosphere of the hotel for us is a good option. The sauna is a drawback, since the area with the sauna cabin at the same time also the massage or yoga classes used. We have the 4 days ' pampering holiday' very much enjoyed. The comfort room was clean and well equipped, the view of the maar was great. The food was with a substantial reason for the (first) visit; we weren't disappointed. The breakfast buffet was extensive, scrambled/fried eggs were freshly prepared, coffee/ tea and other drinks were available. The dinner was always a huge benefit, the wine recommendation was ok. Unfortunately is, that the sauna the place with the massage and, where appropriate, yoga have to share. The sauna had despite reservation twice a low temperature at the beginning; the relaxing ... loungers are too hard, towels were also very scarce. All persons - owner, staff, Ayurveda-consultant-were always very friendly and in a good mood. Small attentions-table decoration, for example schiefertäfelchen of names-have the whole rounded off. read more

Price-performance ratio was absolutely.
A very attractive ambience. Culinary delights, very tasty and arranged creatively, carefully selected table decoration, simply nicer...
Particularly beautiful we found not only the very tasty breakfast buffet, but also the small ' good morning greetings' on the small schiefertäfelchen.
The packed lunches were delicious.

The stay in the hotel maarium was extremely good. Starting with the generous-friendly rooms ( eckfelder maar ) as a single room with a large bathroom (a total of 32 metres ²) for 66 euros per night, that really is a very good price. Even the breakfast buffet left nothing to the imagination. Also in the cafe, the for its cake is known (cherry soured cream cake ennobled of Johann Lafer) it leaves itself in the afternoon good stay. A hammer the hotel's restaurant is. There are freshly prepared wonderful innovative food for the elevated requirement.
I can only recommend ... this hotel, and will certainly go there again. read more

We can only recommend this hotel, we really enjoyed it. The room ( Penthouszimmeri ) us a spectacular view on the Meerfelder maar offered. It was large and tastefully furnished. Also the bathroom was spacious. The Frühstücksauswal ( buffet) was plentiful and it was always freshly refilled. Scrambled egg, fried egg etc. Was on request completely fresh prepared. The dinner, in the booked arrangement, was also good and sufficient. The service always very friendly and hard-working it a make it as pleasant as possible. Small drawback, our for the period of stay, assigned table, was somewhat diagonally behind a column ..., so we not always immediately noticed and at the start somewhat longer for our first order had to wait. It was a lovely stay overall ( in spite of the bad weather) read more

It was our first time staying in this hotel and felt from the first minute felt really good. Reason our two day short break was the 30. Birthday of our Daughters. Everybody was loved it, because, whether breakfast. Coffee and cake and the dinner were very tasty and exclusive and totally adequate. Owner and serving staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a beautiful and good vacation want is in the right place here. The rooms are on the 1 floor from the restaurant separated with a view of the maar or bettenfeld. The bathroom is small but sweet, the bed is clean and one can well sleep on it, only problem is the tv, the all important transmitters includes, but very small and bad location, he was hanging on the ceiling, you get a stiff neck with the abengfernsehen. The food is very tasty and abwechslungshaft and it is otherwise also each month under another motto. ... For hiking the hotel is brilliant, since one can reach everything well and against 5 €you can get a large lunch box.

The hotel lies wonderful nearby the maares. Many walking paths lead around the crater lake.
In the hotel we were there in the best way served. The rooms were clean and furnished nicely.
The staff were friendly and courteous. The spa -treatments we enjoyed very much.
