Rapid city and the hotel is a very good base to mount Rushmore. To mount Rushmore and Custer -state park are about 30 minutes 'drive it. Free public parking at the hotel are available. Check-in and check-out were outstanding quickly. Within 1 minute, we had our room card. Friendliness and efficiency of the staff were exemplary. The hotel itself is well maintained with very well-equipped and clean rooms. The only complaint I have is the number of elevators. It is only two elevators, so that it each morning for traffic, as the hotel is disfunctional furnishement used. Right at the ... hotel there is a supermarket. Downtown Rapid city are it only a few steps away. read more

The hotel is located in the centre of Rapid city, what is again very close to Mt. Rushmore. Rapid city is a small town in the Wild West style. The hotel is to take into account, that behind the hotel and the train that goes in the night it can be noisy. A better room on the front side of the request. The hotel is very well equipped and very clean. Free parking is also available-. Shopping possibilities were in the immediate vicinity and also a couple of good restaurants you can walk to visit.
