Small, quiet hotel in a beautiful location

The Buchan is a beautiful smaller hotel with very nice location. It is very close to the city center and the Stanley park. You can everywhere on foot back. Because it's on a smaller side street is, it is very calm and pleasant. Right on the hotel it is a restaurant. However this is in the comparison with the Buchan quite expensive. You should also before the prices much closer look at. In the Buchan there is room with shared bathroom and Einzelbad. The shared bathrooms I can however say anything, we had a private bathroom with in the room. ... Everything was clean and reasonable. For a few days night it is absolutely sufficient and furthermore for this location very good value for money. read more

beautiful, although somewhat elderly accommodation in the heart of the West end. Great location in order to on foot all major sights the city explore. The fan on the ceiling looks dangerous and the bathroom has already better days seen, but it is clean, safe, and quiet yet central location can't be beat. Internet and parking spaces are subject to a charge. We would stay here again at any time again. read more
