Very nice city hotel, directly at the AAR & view to the green. We had a rather small rooms, but for US this was not a problem. Were only for sleeping therein. Breakfast buffet oK-but unfortunately the staff with refills so attentive! read more

The hotel is centrally located in tuna freienhof, directly on the Aare river-if you were lucky you got a room with a view of the river, with bad luck on a sad backyard-flat roof. The hotel offers meeting facilities and the food as well as breakfast buffet is worthy of praise. But the extremely small rooms were sold as a single maximum. Although a designer best work has been done, our room the odor Charme an incomplete building site. The mini bar, which I believe is a minimum requirement of four stars-were untraceable. Conclusion: to stay in Thun there are ... probably better options for the same price. read more

Great hotel in a picturesque setting. We felt very well cared for. Especially recommended is the kitchen and the great wines. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. We especially liked the mix of Tradtion and modern. We will definitely again spontaneously in the hotel freienhof spending a weekend. read more

Nice and especially good located business and holiday hotel right on the Aare river. Steep full restaurant and bar. Large, newly renovated seminar area. The decor of the rooms is modern and I liked it very much. The staff were friendly and helpful and I will book again in this operation. read more

    We stayed in the apartment that faces the river and it was just perfect. You can see the Swiss Alps from the windows. Just spectacular!!
